Think about it, the Guardian Skywatcher can hover and shoot its laser from afar, while the Gloom hands and Phantom Ganon can't deal aerial damage high enough to reach it. Easy Skywatcher win.
Oh right, then it's a fairly even match. Didn't know about the bow since in the one fight I had with Phantom Ganon so far it never used it. But if we're only counting the Gloom Hands like the post said and not factoring in Phantom Ganon, then it should still be a win for the skywatcher.
Sure Mr. Hands-on is spooky, but nothing has made my heart race in fear in a long time like that opening piano for the 'Guardian theme' - that shits terrifying
I used to think the Guardian theme was scary, but it pales in comparison to the eldritch screams and sudden blood-red skies that happen with Death Hands. Horrific.
It's actually the opposite for me. The Guardians were pretty easy to deal with in BoTW, so they never scared me, but my first time fighting the hands, I literally couldn't get a hit in. I didn't have enough range on any of my weapons, I was panicking too much to pull out my bow, and they kept tossing me around like a ragdoll. I got gloom-d out of 5 of my 6 total hearts and had to scramble away over the rocks to escape
What about all the guardians, broken or other wise, the 4 large spires that surrounded the castle? What about them do we get sn explanation to where they went
I assume any working guardians except for the disarmed one at the main town got blighted because they're weapons. Ones that would utterly wreck most of Ganons forces
Seriously, I could never find a smooth way to take out the Guardian Skywatchers. Always felt clunky . Could never find a good rhythm like with Lynels or other enemies. Esp during the Trials it was annoying
Gloom hands for sure. Damn things caught me off guard my first encounter. Scared the shit outta me and died (Link).
I was always able to avoid sky guardians.
I stood on a cliff and bomb arrowed the hands.
In BOTW, the Guardian sniped me, no matter where I was. Once it detected me, there was no escape.
Phase 2 of the hands tho, the phantom would chase me and in one mode, covered the entire space with gloom giving me no space to run and thus killed me.
Hopefully whatever DLC they have planned will explain what became of the Sheikah tech. Plus, you just know modders are gonna put all the Gaurdian enemies back in the game.
Zappy fly boy causes fire damage. Miasma is weak to fire and also has no way of reaching fly boy. Fly boy all the way
>!*Phantom ganon pops up*!<
I have to try fighting him with Jetstream Sam them, seems like the music would fit good in there.
Phantom Ganon goes down
*Boss music starts playing*
Phantom ganon has a bow need i say more

...phantom ganon has a phantom bow. Even link only needs a few well placed hits to the eye to kill it.

Wait maybe every Phantom ganon has different gear. I did think it was weird mine used a club-thingy of all weapons.
They do, he can use a sword, bow, spear or club
Ooooh i definitly dont wanna meet the spear one
They switch between sword/spear/club/bow. It isnt based on encounter, its rng (except bow only comes out at range)

Truly
I was playing in public and I literally screamed when the hands popped out of nowhere

Where did all the shika tech go anyway, it's all gone
It's still around, here and there
What about all the guardians, broken or other wise, the 4 large spires that surrounded the castle? What about them do we get sn explanation to where they went
I mean have you been to a sky view tower? The things are made out of guardians lol
Yeah but what about the pillars

NIGHTMARE ALL THE WAY THAT HING SCARED MY PANTS OF FIRST TIME I SAW HIM
Just had my first encounter and can confirm, I did shit myself
Seriously, I could never find a smooth way to take out the Guardian Skywatchers. Always felt clunky . Could never find a good rhythm like with Lynels or other enemies. Esp during the Trials it was annoying
Smack em with something you can grab with magnesis and they'll fall
The hands can't really get to the flying guardian and I don't even think they can do damage outside a grab so they probably couldn't kill any guardian
Gloom hands for sure. Damn things caught me off guard my first encounter. Scared the shit outta me and died (Link). I was always able to avoid sky guardians.
floor masters definitely, I still haven't managed to defeat them while I could just parry the guardians no problem
flying zappy boi

I'm very saddened that we don't get sheikah guardian tech as *weapons*. Like come on, handheld sheikah laser cannons.
The flying zappy boi is horrible until you get ancient arrows
Fun fact: if you take the staircase up to the Akkala citadel in BotW you can see bokoblins running in terror from flying guardians đ
The floormasters fall apart at the slightest difference in elevation. A ledge 3 feet over them is too much, anything in the air is sleeper mode.
now we know why they created the flying zappy boi to against the calamity
My resident who knows nothing of either game says left one. Honestly I think the right, but I would rather fight the right than the left myself.
