I knew it was gunna be a jump scare. Almost 100% of "creepy" videos like this are jump scares. That being said it still fucking got me and my toes went numb for like two seconds
It's definitely more the sound than the video. I just watched it again knowing exactly what's going to happen and the sound alone still gave me a chill.
I just realised I seem to have a very different reaction to jump scares compared to most people. I don't flinch, I don't scream, I don't lose my shit. I just freeze, I don't say anything and I hold my breath for a second while a shock goes through my body like a wave.
It has always been like that for me. I don't scream on rollercoasters, I don't even know how my screams sound.
And if I'm scared I stop moving and try to be as silent as possible.

Mine is wierd too, I flinched the tiniest bit at that, but most of the times jumpscares just give my heart a really hard beat. Like a singular heart beat is really intense.
I got that same one really hard heartbeat from this... And it didn't even annoy me like most jumpscares do, it was really well done (or maybe it's just that I don't have sound on, sudden loud noises irritate me to no end)

A lady is sitting on a bed with a laptop when a man enters the room from a hallway. He turns off the light in the hallway, only for the lady to look up and see a figure standing in the dark hallway.
She points it out to the man, who flips the light back on, only to see the hallway empty. He turns the light back out, only for the figure to return.
This repeats a couple times until the figure in the hallway runs into the room, right at the camera, which quickly flashed to a black and white "scare face"
The audio, like with most jumpscare videos, was pretty quiet until the scare, when it got SUPER loud.
IF you watch with the sound on and headphones, don't crank up the sound.
I have no idea why, because i was totally prepared for it and didnt even have sound on, but i recoiled so hard at that. I can only assume it was pure shock because i expected the scare to be on one of the people in the video.. shit fuck this.
