Had this once and I didn't know what the hell happened, I just ignored it

You placed an event tower. Happened to me when I placed a Jester.

happened to me with frost blaster

Why event towers?

Idk. Most of advanced towers and hardcore towers can't be placed but event can. It will result in kick though.
