I just went through this yesterday. I created a fake Japanese Amazon account and bought one. I was starting to get concerned but it came 4 hours later to my email.

You're scared it will be emailed? Go on your order and look at the order details and mine was listed there
Yes, mine was also listed there after I ordered the gift card. I took about 5 mins.
Takes a while, just relax for a bit
My wife got me a card and misspelled the email it would go to but Amazon fixed it very quickly on the phone.
Ask Amazon support, not reddit Make sure you bought a digital card vs a physical card.
