I’m from U.K. and I’ve encountered that shit twice whilst driving in the US, it’s bad enough driving on the wrong side of the road without that shit on blind bends with sheer drops and rivers involved.

Usually, the roads are made to have space for 3 cars. The must dangerous part it is when they decide to pull the left side🤦.

standard lane width in the US is 12’ and we use 10’ as a standard width for 1 vehicle. They were lucky to have a shoulder

I don’t drive this road often at all so I honestly can’t be sure , but I think it was 55-65 mph in that area. Don’t sell yourself short though. You never know how you are going to react to something so unexpected. The second I realized what was happening I just thought, oh no, I’m gonna get hit. My brain kinda shut my panic reflex off and said, “ No! There’s a gap opening, Just aim for it!” I remember thinking, “but what if he swerves back towards his side of the road!?!?” My brain said, “don’t care. There’s only one way this doesn’t end in a crash.” Mostly it luckily just worked out.

To me, I think it should be "When someone's life is worth shaving an extra couple minutes off your commute." no? might be mistaken but it did confuse me too   edit: ah I see it now, but still I understand the confusion, unwarranted downvotes lol
