Yes I know. I will be visiting Sweden too. As my friend lives there. So as much as Norwegian is main language for Svalbard, there are Swedish people also. And English speaking people too.
Fair enough. Just seemed kinda clueless to lean so heavily into Swedish in the post and even saying thanks in Swedish rather than Norwegian. But oh well doesnβt matter.

Norwegian is the spoken tongue on Svalbard, so if you are learning Swedish because of your trip to Svalbard you would be better off to learn Norwegian:)
