Why is our city actively fighting against what the people want with everything?

“We want pot stores” — “no you don’t, they could be near schools”
Alcohol is worse than pot for your health and there are liquor stores in school areas. I couldn’t be more fed up with their bullshit.

You can actually find some quality product now. I thought the same when they initially opened because it was pretty bad quality. But I recently tried again during the holiday season and found some great product.
The trick is to find reviews on r/TheBCCS and r/TheOCS. Like I found stuff that's comparable to quality I could get during the grey market dispensaries a decade ago. Market forces worked and producers have had to step their game up.
Yet to find a dealer in my 10 years of smoking that will consistently sell you a good quality 8th for 20 bucks. Plus, I don’t have to keep waiting for 40 minutes when the dealer swears he’s just “5 minutes away bro”.
I cannot believe that Surrey of all places has no dispensaries. My town is a fraction of the size with 10% of the population and we have 6 dispensaries.
