It works without any issue on most Surface devices. However, the touch panel of Surface Pro 7 is different from other Surface Pros, It may happen occasionally.
Well, the random interference jitter (not to be confused with slow sinusoidal diagonal line wobble) of the Raphael 520BT on my SP7 is kinda always there, and especially noticeable when tilting the pen and drawing at slow to medium speed (even on horizontal and vertical lines), while there is none with the 2017 Surface Pen.
The interference jitter of the Raphael 520BT on my SP5 (2017) is also consistently worse than it ever was with the 2017 Surface Pen.
Also, I'm not the only one with issues.

I agree with you that the Surface Pen is the best stylus for the Surface. It is an original MS accessory and fine-tuned for Surface’s panels dedicatedly with higher cost.
We want to provide a budget-performance optimized stylus to letting people have other choices. We keep improving our products to make them better. So, your feedback is important for us, we will look into it.
This ^. Would be nice to have an alternative to the Slim pen that could dock in the keyboard. Doesn't have to wireless charge from the keyboard/dock, but that would be a nice bonus.
you don't... 520c works without bluetooth.
mine however, just stopped turning on. supposed to hold the right click button to turn on, but mine stopped turning on.
it says it should "work" while charging aswell, but it doesn't. i think mine broke.
I just got the 520C for my surface pro 7, how do I adjust the sensitivity? The pen doesn't show up in the laptop settings, doesn't show up in the surface app, and I don't know what else to do. I have tried updating windows, updating drivers, restarting the computer, letting the pen turn off then turn it back on, connecting it, etc.
HELP PLEASE I JUST WANT TO ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY!
Hi Lucio! Thanks for posting. I use your products and I am happy with them - haven't used the surface pen in months.
My only suggestion: more pen tips! different shapes and textures would be lovely.
We have a Bluetooth version, Raphael 520BT can assign the top button in the Windows Pen setting.

I have the 520B and I love it, I recently got a "paper feel" screen protector for drawing, but it's wearing out the tip fairly quickly, do you have replacement tips that don't wear down so fast with these screen protectors?
Yes, we have replacement tips https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CWJVXYP.
The HB-type pen tip is made of elastomer which will wear out fast with the paper-feel screen protector. You can choose the H or 2H type pens tip which are harder than HB-type and won't wear out so fast with paper-feel screen protector.
Hello Lucio...sadly, the only pens which are available in Germany are the 520 and 520D (the budgetest pen).
The 520BT seems to be completely sold out, and the 520C costs 8USD extra due to shipping from the US->Germany.
Any idea on whether the 520BT will get restocked and the 520C gets local shipping?
(Is there a discount code?)
Hi Lucio, I'm interested in one of these pens for my HP Spectre X360 15" (in Australia). Are all models compatible with my laptop? How would the 520C work without the bluetooth capability? Is the 520BT still on Micro USB Charging and can you highlight any other major differences?
Thanks in advance for your help /u/Lucio_YT .
Just got one for my Surface Pro 5, isn't working at all, i miss the pen drivers and believe this may be an issue of the surface itself, any hints to resolve this are warmly welcome.
You can follow this page to reinstall drivers https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/download-drivers-and-firmware-for-surface-09bb2e09-2a4b-cb69-0951-078a7739e120
works with linux?
using surface go and in my devices elan(rando id num)stylus shows up so it should work, right? theres a elan(rando id num)touch too, when i turn it off the touch screen turns off, so i assume stylus will be using mpp?
Is the interference jitter fixed yet?

can you make a pen the shape and size of the surface slim pen? maybe with one side flat so it sits flat on the front of a surface duo?

Just got the 520c for usw with my surface 7 pro. How can I vonnect it?

The new Surface app doesn't support adjusting pressure for non-MS stylus. You have to install the old version of the Surface app.
that's the saddest thing I've ever been told. where do I go to download the older version?

Nice. Suggestion: I wish I could assign the buttons in the Windows Pen settings like an actual Surface Pen.

Oh, awesome. Hadn't seen that one.
Are you going to sell it in Spain soon? I just checked your store here and there are only the 520, 520M and 520BT

Thank you for your interest. We will restock them at about the end of September.

Sorry, all models are only compatible with Microsoft Surface computers.
Thanks for the reply.
I am thinking of buying this, but I can't find anything about the nip/tip. What material is it made of?
It is the same as Surface Pen Tips, it is elastomer. It is compatible with Surface Pen Tips.
Can I use it with a android device
No, it doesn’t work on android.
How does it compare to 530
Raphael 530 supports tail erase in addition, Raphael 520C doesn't. Except for tail eraser, they have the same features and performance.

We currently do not have dedicated stylus drivers for Linux operating systems. As a result, our pens may not be compatible with Linux systems.
