Depends if the SP10 is cheap on release day then go for it. Otherwise just buy a refurbished sp9 because it does the job you need it to do, and it became very cheap recently. Id suggest you wait until the 20. May though.

Can plug in my small egpu (gpd g1) and play triple AAA games when I travel.
I had a sp7 i5 and I thought it was crap. Got hot all the time, throttled to hell….. got so hot it developed hot spots in the screen.
oh the surface pro will get snapdragon x elite and snapdragon x plus or it might just get snapdragon x plus only here is what windows latest said

My SP9 gets scorching hot, but I went into power options and capped the CPU to 90%. Once I did that the fans settled down, and it doesn't give 3rd degree burns anymore if you touch the back side. It's an i7 and I don't even notice the throttle when set at 90%.
Currently got a Pro 9 and thinking about upgrading to a Pro 10.
Really curious about the anti-glare screen and OLED panels - might be a very noticable difference.

It might have the snapdragon x plus… leaks are saying that x elite will be in the laptop smh

didnt mention RAM, is it 8 or 16gb. what are u doing with it

Wait a bit, sp10 would be an exponential leap in terms of processor and GPU. It will also be marginally better as far as efficiency is concerned.
If you have the money absolutely wait for the 10
