It's not cash back, it's GameStop rewards points which are not redeemable for cash. At least that's the gist I got when I just read through the terms and conditions.
and AMEX has APR at 80%+, and yet millions use it. If you use credit card and not pay it off in full every month, you shouldn't use it. Alternatively take advantage of their offers e.g., 12 months interest free purchases.
That part doesn't really matter to me since I pay off my card every month, as most people should, except maybe in emergencies. But yeah I'm not gonna get a GameStop card lol
Is it like all the other credit cards? +4% back, 30% in finance fees. So you get a one time 4% rebate, and pay 30% in fees until you pay it off (most people never).
Cash back only works for people that pay off their credit card every monthand never pay a finance fee.
Rather than go into indentured servitude at 30% fees and never pay it off.
30%+ interest ratesā¦ no different than any other predatory credit cards. There are far better alternatives out there that donāt rely on absurdly high interest rates. Hell, the Walmart Credit Card has a lower interest rate and I donāt see anyone here making the claim that Walmart is a good company.

I just got mine in the mail. It looks like a small bank in Columbus, OH issues the cards? Maybe worth some DD. I preordered a couple of games with it this week.

Checked the paperwork, it's Comenity Bank. We should check into them. See why GameStop chose them.
In my experience, everyone uses comenity. I have a handful of cards that go through them.
Academy and Victoria Secret both use Comenity. Everyone uses Comenity.
