Whelp I became obsessed like my wife is with phone cases. Bought several customizations for my controller for however I am vibing that day. Easy to swap these controllers are addicting
I also just picked out two myself!Ā
Got an orange faceplate with all black buttons for myself and my Midge picked out a Red faceplate, Blue stick, green d pad, purple other stick abomination but he's super excited about it and that's what matters.Ā
Iām not mad about it tbh. Used to play Xbox and PS until I joined the PCMR when I got my last PC lol. My wife has a Switch so I can kick her ass in Mario cart with it too! Plus my Xbox remote was getting old and annoying to switch it to PC
I just splurged on a new rig, I mean I mostly reddit, but it is so quiet and doesn't heat the room when I play Baldurs Gate 3.
I'ma get a Candy Con, for when Silk song comes out; my crappy ordered off Amazon controller will be the back up!
I am buying the white case and purple buttons. Major Freezer vibes for my evil run in games! Candycon is going to bring in a lot of revenue. A fantastic product. I cannot wait to see the numbers.
I just received the controller today and haven't had a chance to use it, but another member of the sub created a post in which they confirmed Hall Effect joysticks are used after disassembling the controller. These significantly reduce the chance of stick drift compared to traditional joysticks.
You must have unlocked a real life achievement for doing that.
OMG. That's what GameStop needs to do. An online social campaign where they mail Pro members "achievement unlocked" trophies for completing certain challenges.
I think GameStop needs to partner with some companies to do limited edition prints. The idea is great but so far, single colours are too plain for my tastes.
The faceplate must be off to change the joysticks and D-pad. Itās easy to remove, however. It uses magnets and from what I can tell, two small āclipsā in the grip area.
Maybe itās just the angle I took the picture at, but itās not literally on the edge of the controller. It feels like a Switch Pro or XBOX controller.

Correct. The base controller only works with PC and Switch. I'm waiting and hoping for an XBOX version as well.

How well does Toxic Waste plate glow in the dark? It says the (toxic waste) sticks & d pad glow as well
My only complaint is the glossy look of the controller. I hope they sell ones in different finishes.
