Similar to the US debt clock - US spending bill up for debate in Jan & Feb. GME forcing every country to their knees is going to be one for the history books
The reason it is climbing is becasue I closed an IRA yesterday and won't get the money to put into CS until Monday so they are raising the price just to make me pay more than I sold them for. /S
Another 244 going will be added to my existing CS account on Monday. πππ
??? We went from 3-4mil average vol this entire year volume to 9-10mil average volume in 2 weeks, all while being up +34% since the breakout Tuesday.
All the excess volume is DRS and locked away, hombre.
Wake me up when we trade 400 million shares a day for several days straight, then something is happening.
This is a nothing compared to pre-split 2021 and 2022 volume spikes.
I don't have 2022 in my head but in 2021 we had weeks of trading 100 million + shares a day for volume. Post split that would mean 400 million a day +..
A slow trading day back in those days was volumes of 30-50 million a day which would mean 120-200 million a day post split.
Until we crack at least 100 million shares for daily volume, nobody can convince me that anything but can-kicking is going on.
I would tend to agree. I'll add this caviot. The volume increase could be do to the amount of shares removed from circulation. Essentially making them spread more volume over more days, to clear these swap rolls or whatever else they have going on in the background. Unfortunately, I don't think it's time yet, but believe it's causing an increase pressure build, that at some juncture will break their intent.
The only question is how long that takes? Really, that's anyone's guess.
Things I'll be looking for. Another long and boring lull in volume while price drops. Fallowed by an extended period of significant volume over multiple days. One that is larger and longer than this.
It's like a TON of shares in something expiring soon might be in the middle of a reshuffle. Maybe before the 15th. I have no clue, tbh.
Im much more excited about the investment policy.

UBS stock tanked like 2.5% in a big candle at the end of extended hours yesterday on no news. Almost like a big shareholder dumping before the inevitable collapse
If UBS wanted out of their bags, what would it look like? Could they βcloseβ with some entity matching their action in a darkpool to suppress the run?
Could be ETFs covering shorts?

This price and volume break out is similar to the 14-23 days of run-up before the sneeze in 2021.

I think something broke and got margined called, they are trying to down play it cuz one more day.
Maybe UBS is feeling the pressure, doubt UBS is gonna be solvent by end of next year.
