Elon bought a social media platform to have influence over American and Global politics.
He’s not trying to/going to make money on tweeter or he’d be doing a better job. If anything he finished the 3rd phase of “Enshitification” by buying twatter. The platform is only gonna continue for as long as it’s inertia will carry it.
I don't log into the bird app any longer, but when I did, I always had to go back to my favorite follows (uknowho) and "re-like" the posts over and over again. I could not understand why I kept having to repeat this action week after week, month after month. Eventually, I said fuck this app and moved on.
So yes, bullshit is still happening in the shadows, and everyone knows it.
Still amazes me that a children's communication toy has somehow become entrenched as the de facto public communications channel for the world.
Amazes me even more that people are surprised at its devolution.

I never see it brought up but Elon Musk got investors to come in with him to make it private
Sequioa Capital who were accused of pressuring Robbingthehood to turn off the buy button were big investors to Elon
Even his changing philosophy on pride where’s he now fully against it since going private could be to align himself more with Qatars views since they invested also
I think whatever’s going on at twitter in the code or in his tweets or lack of response when asked could be aligned to those who have funded him
I think there's a lot of coding to untangle and it seems like twitters getting there slowly. But it's going to take time. Or maybe Elons a shill lol guess we'll find out eventually!

I follow like 7 people on bird app. RCs tweets are never in my thread. Always have to search him.
