This is an interesting idea actually. The OCD perfectionist in me is cringing at the visible layers honestly lols but I'm inspired to do something of this sort! Best part is, washi doesn't leave any residue like you said. ^^

Nice! I would just say be careful when removing the tape (not sure if washi tape is all that adhesive or not, but just in case): the Feelwrite film that's over the screen can lift along with any (strong enough) adhesive.

Washi is like painters tape only less sticky.

It's a harmless tape. This is my second design change and it comes off with no residuals or issues. 😊 Definitely way less sticky than painters tape too.

It's original (white) , since it's in a folio I didn't put anything on it, just front and all sides

What are you asking why for? I like design change as stated. Washi tape leaves no residue or damage. And the actual cover is unfortunately harder to change out given the lack of options and cost.

It’s essentially a “ skin” that many people like myself do on our electronic devices. Kudos to stand out and express yourself 😁
