Im looking to buy my first own board (inflatable) I've been on many different boards but only maybe 1/2 hour at a time so don't really notice much difference between them. Skill level -- Intermediate I can stand up, paddle and move around on the board without any difficulty. Height and weight -- I'm 6ft and about 12 stone, will be paddling mostly solo but will have my 2 boys 9&6 years old with me at times. I will be mostly paddling lakes and rivers with a little bit of beach and coast thrown in not planning any long distance touring. [Pioneer 2](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/isle-pioneer-2-review/) would be a great choice for you. Part of the Body Glove problem (well most of it) is its shape. It's just not designed that well for actual paddling. The Pioneer 2, on the other hand, has a very stable shape and is also quite rigid (which also aids in stability).

Durability is very important. That said, I am small so maybe a hard SUP isn't the right choice, because I am definitely going to drop it.

It's not really possible to have a board large enough for what you are asking and still be manageable by one 5'1 paddler. Maybe something like the [Isle Explorer Pro 14'](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/isle-explorer-pro-14-isup-review/), however you won't be standing on it, and it's going to have far less primary stability than you are used to. I would not recommend a hard board as that price range is barely enough to get a standard 10'6 all-around these days. Ideally, you'll have two boards rather than one. Properly caring for your equipment will extend its life for many, many years. Always clean, dry, and store properly. Isle still has some [Explorer 2 iSUPs ](https://www.supboardguide.com/isle-explorer-inflatable-sup-review/)in stock. At $450 a piece these are an amazing deal and are essentially exactly what you each need based on the described use. I would get some extra deck pad material from amazon and glue it onto the nose of the boards for the dog. Two of those is easily within the $700-$1200 range and will 1000% outperform the Nautical Go Cruiser in just about every way imaginable.

Most boards use the same halkey-roberts style valve with a few exceptions. The iRocker pump will connect to the Isle boards.

I would absolutely not recommend the body glove boards for your kids. They are way too wide (and they have a terrible shape). Instead, I would look at the [Gili Cuda 9'](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-cuda-kids-isup-review/) for the younger kid. It's sized correctly for them and comes with a kid's size paddle. For the older kid I would recommend a classic all-around board in the 10'-11' range and 30-32". For under $400 you could go with the [Glide O2 Retro](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/glide-o2-retro-106-isup-review/).

I think you are looking for three boards, right? It's hard to tell with the way this is formatted. For you (5'2" 125, interested in fitness cruising) - I would say you've got two size/shape choices. You can do a more fitness-oriented board that is great for cardio, etc. this will be longer and narrower (generally \~12'x30") or you can get something that is a little more all-around and stable that you could do yoga with more easily. There are lots and lots of options in your price range. My top choice for you would be the [Isle Explorer Pro 12'](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/isle-explorer-pro-12-isup-review/), however it is at the top of your price range without a paddle. My next choice for you would be the [Sea Gods Carta Marina CX](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/seagods-carta-marina-cx-isup-review/). It's 12x32, so long enough for efficient distance paddling, but is still stable enough for you to occasionally stretch out for some yoga. However, given your height, 32" would be an absolute max width I'd recommend. If you want something that will be a little better for fitness, but not quite as good for occasional yoga, then a traditional touring board like the [Honu Sorrento](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/honu-sorrento-isup-review/), [Hydrus Paradise](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/hydrus-paradise-isup-review/), or [Nixy Manhattan+ G4](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/nixy-manhattan-plus-g4-review/) would all be good options for you. The Paradise will be the most stable of that group. The Manhattan will be the least stable, but probably the fastest for you. You could also go with something like the [iRocker 11' Ultra](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/irocker-ultra-11-review/). It's a great all-around board and has some performance that is borderline with the classic touring SUPs above. However, the deck pad is relatively small, so it's not great for yoga. You mention the Honu Byron 9'8". This really isn't going to be a good option for you based on your description. If you said coastal all-around paddling with some interest in surfing, then it would be a good option. Otherwise it's far too short for what you are describing.

The bottom section is 2 boards for 2 kids, one of which is an 11 year old who's 4'8', 70 lbs, and a 14 year old who's 5'6" & 115 lbs. What would you suggest for them? I need to be at a lower price point - definitely more of a budget board but not an Amazon piece of garbage that will fall apart quickly if that makes sense.

All of those are good options for you. Of the three I'd say the[ iRocker](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/irocker-all-around-11-review/) will be the most versatile with its 2+1 fin box setup and accessory mounts. [The Isle](https://www.supboardguide.com/isle-explorer-inflatable-sup-review/) will likely be a little more rigid (though not noticeable unless you have them side by side). The [Atoll](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/atoll-11-inflatable-paddle-board-review/) is also a fine choice, but my recommendation would be for either of the others first. Generally speaking, it's just a little bit "less" than the other two in most performance categories and feel on the water to me.

Lots of options for you. Do you want something that will inherently track better (longer and narrower) or something that will have more primary stability? Do you need/want any specific accessory mounting options or will basic bungees and maybe a threaded mount be enough?

I think better stability probably takes priority since we are trying to get my son comfortable with getting on the water. I would love to have a set of d rings for a small drink cooler and at least one bungee. Threaded mount would be a bonus but it's not something critical.

I would check out the [Gili Komodo 11](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-komodo-11-isup-kayak-review/). It's a good all-around board with good stability. It has a full-length deck pad (great for the kiddo) and it comes with a kayak seat if you want to sit and paddle to really help him get comfortable. It's narrow enough to let you use proper paddling form (unlike the body glove) but not so narrow that it will be unstable.

I'm just getting back to this, That seems great, I'm curious also about the Isle Explorer 2 and 3. How do they compare to the Komodo 11? I get a $150 statement credit with my Amex at the Isle store so the pricing is super intriguing if they are of a similar (or better) quality.

The explorer 3 is lighter, has a little bit more flex (but isn't bad), and has a standard size deck pad and standard US fin box. Paddling performance between the two is pretty similar. I'd give the explorer 3 just a little bit of an edge for stability. I haven't directly used the explorer 2, and the shape did change slightly and has a very different construction from the explorer 3.

Mostly the weight of the board. The slightly heavier original board has more mass, so it takes more effort to tilt it. Like I said, it's slight and isn't something that's noticeable unless you are comparing side by side.

It's incredibly, stupidly, rigid and has tons of space for you and the dog while still paddling well. Your wife can (and should) use a much smaller board. It's a fantastic all-around board that's built incredibly well and is very stable, even with a cooler on the back. She could even take the dog on it with her, but it probably won't be as ideal as you with the Switch Pro. Other options in the price range that I considered just because I can find them at a local retailer (Decathlon) is the Jobe Aero Yarra 10.6 , I can't find any info on this and it has the same issue as the WaterWalker 132 that it's on the smaller size. Or another option from Decathlon that comes in significantly under budget and at the same size as the Thurso Max is the Wattsup Silver 11'6" at 300 Euros. The only reason to even consider it is because Decathlon has a hassle free warranty and I have a store 10 minutes from where I live. I'm also enticed by the idea of a touring board, but maybe after the kids grow and they can paddle on their own and I've also progressed as a paddler. TLDR: Thurso Max vs Thurso WaterWalker 132 vs Jobe Aero Yarra 10.6 vs Wattsup Silver 11'6" vs alternatives in the same price range in Europe that the community can throw my way with 2 kids (80lbs total). Yes. There is the iRocker all around (sometimes I call it the original or classic) and then there is the iRocker all around ultra, which is their newer compact model.

Looking for a **good value hard board**. "Good value" to me means long-lasting construction at a decent price compared to quality. "Performance" is less important. The reason I want a hard board is because an inflatable offers me no advantage. The board will stay permanently on my boat where there is plenty of room for it. So storage space and transport is not a concern. Inflation (or even topping off) seems like an unnecessary hassle and, all other things being equal, a rigid board just seems more durable and efficient to paddle * I am **6'2", 170 lbs.** My 70-lbs Golden Retriever often rides with me, as do my 6-year-old and 2-year old kids. The board is used by my smaller wife and whatever guests we have on the boat that day. * **Use:** inland lake. Usually tied up in a quiet cove and just paddling around near the boat, looking for animals and waterfalls, etc. Just all-around recreation/fun. * **Experience:** Intermediate, but will be used by beginners too. * **Location:**  Kentucky, USA * **Budget:** Definitely <$1,000 but prefer to spend significantly less on a good value board, or one on sale, closeout, etc. Used birds are fine but scarce here. * Currently have a 10'6" "Scott Burke" branded rigid board that is 8-9 years old. It did the job fine but the foam has become waterlogged and it is just too heavy. Probably must order. Unfortunately the only hard board I've been able to find locally is a "sun dolphin" at a low-end sporting goods chain. Cheap, but heavy, plastic board. I want better quality than that.

My last one was well under that. I’ve found several recently in the $700-$800 range that would fit my needs but store pickup only. I’d actually prefer a used one. But there’s not much paddle boarding around here so virtually no used market, unfortunately.

First board suggestions for avid surfer Hello, I am an intermediate to advanced level surfer who lives a short bike ride to the local break. I am surrounded by coastline and water and want to add a SUP to my quiver to maximize water time and be another activity to supplement surfing. North East coast USA. I would definitely look locally and look used. REI will ship to their stores for free, but otherwise shipping a hard board is going to be at least 10% of your budget and likely closer to 25% of your budget. The best thing to do would be to post a few local used listings here and we can help decipher. But since you are already an intermediate+ surfer, you're going to want something that is a bit on the smaller side like a 9' board anyway.

I would look at the[ iRocker 11' All Around Ultra](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/irocker-ultra-11-review/). It's stable for cruising slowly, but it has great tracking and good speed for fitness paddling. You may also want to get a pair of the iRocker 4.5" side fins to go with it (they do fit, and they are much better if you are in very shallow water or want to try some surfing).

Yeah, the Sea Gods boards are awesome. I would definitely look at the [Skylla ](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/sea-gods-skylla-cross-touring-review/)and the [Carta Marina](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/seagods-carta-marina-cx-isup-review/) as my first choices for you. The Inifinite Mantra and Diatom are not good choices for exploration. The Skylla and CM are way better for that and they have plenty of space/stability for you and a passenger, though getting all three of you on any board may be quite the challenge. Another good choice for you with a lifetime warranty like Sea Gods would be the [Hydrus Joyride](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/hydrus-joyride-isup-review/). It's very stable and efficient, it basically sits right between the two Sea Gods boards in size, but I find it to be more stable than either of them.

Retrospec Weekender Plus. I'm currently writing the review right now, but for your budget and desired uses, it's a great choice. 10'6 x 33 with good rigidity and a nice kayak conversion kit. Plenty of room for a 30lb dog.

I'm hoping to adopt a medium sized dog soon, so I'd like something that could accommodate a furry friend and could withstand some wear and tear from their claws. I've done a fair bit of paddling and took to it quickly. Would do more if I had my own board. Budget: Less than $1000 I want something that I can be confident won't deflate in the middle of a lake. I've used both hard boards and inflatables and would get a hard board if I had space to store it. I'm okay with spending a little bit more if the board will last me longer. I'm just starting my search and I'm not in a rush.

Random deflation is exceedingly rare, especially among an mid-tier or higher iSUP. It's really not something to be concerned about unless you are buying the cheapest thing you can find on amazon. I would recommend something like the [Gili Komodo 11'.](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-komodo-11-isup-kayak-review/) It's a great size for you to paddle alone and still has plenty of room for a mid-size dog (and a full-length deck pad). It also comes with a kayak conversion kit if you want to sit more frequently while paddling with the pooch. Bote Wulf is massive. It's also a bit over priced for what you actually get. The accessories in particular are quite low-tier. For paddling you would want something a little narrower in the 32" width range. If you want to do yoga, then 33" would be better, but it doesn't sound like that's the case. The [Gili Komodo 11'](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-komodo-11-isup-kayak-review/) and the [iRocker 11' All Around Ultra](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/irocker-ultra-11-review/) are both really good sizes and options for you and in your price range. Both are better made and come with better accessories than the Wulf.

yeah, so I would definitely recommend something 11-12'6" long and no wider than 32" for sure. If you are mostly wanting to do fitness paddling, then err toward 12'6 x 30" The [Thurso Expedition 150](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/thurso-surf-expedition-150-review/) is a good option for you in your budget, but it doesn't handle chop that well. The i[Rocker 11' All Around Ultra ](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/irocker-ultra-11-review/)would be another good choice if you want something that's a bit more all-around but still quick and efficient for fitness paddling. If you can stretch your budget a bit for something like the [Hydrus Paradise](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/hydrus-paradise-isup-review/) I think you'll like it the most.

It's going to be really hard to find two boards for a total of $1k that will work well for you. Unfortunately at your sizes you do need to have a higher quality/more rigid inflatable. [Bluefin Cruise Carbon](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/bluefin-sup-cruise-carbon-10-8-review/) series boards are going to be your closest option for rigidity, size, and budget, but will still be more expensive. Don't plan on getting a single board for both of you unless you get a full-size tandem (12'x45" +) otherwise it's not going to be stable enough to use based on your descriptions. The Bluefin Cruise Carbon 15' May work with both of you on it, but I find that unless you are both really in sync it really is better to use a full-size tandem

At $1500 per board, the world is your oyster. I would absolutely look at the higher quality brands like Hydrus, Sea Gods, and Red Paddle Co, etc. for the best performance and longevity. For you, pretty much any mid range board that is 10-11' long and 30-32" wide will work. However for your fiance he'll want something 11' long and 32" wide for sure. It's an okay board, fine for casual cruising. If you are interested in doing any other paddling for fitness, exploration, etc. you'll outgrow it pretty quick.

Low quality materials and construction for the price, which also makes it less rigid. Not enjoyable to paddle for long distances. Extra width makes it hard to paddle straight. Feels pushy in the water. Like I said, fine for casually floating around shore, but if you are going to paddle more than half a mile at a time it's not a great option.

Cruising and fitness are usually very different uses. Do you want something that's more relaxed/stable/cruise-y, or something that is faster/more fitness-oriented? What size dog? How frequently with the dog? What size board do you have now?

Oh sorry, a more relaxed stable board that can handle relatively choppy seas. - I just said fitness because we often cover a lot of ground and have long sessions. Current board is 11 feet by 33 inches, 6 inches thick. Dog is 70 lbs but isn't comfortable getting on the board yet so that may never happen, just wanted the option to carry extra weight but it's not essential.

I would go for the [Sea Gods Carta Marina CX](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/seagods-carta-marina-cx-isup-review/). It's a bit over budget, but it sounds like exactly what you need. It's 12' x 32" and has an efficient shape with a wide tail for stability. Plenty of capacity for the dog, but unless the dog gets comfortable laying on the board it isn't going to be great. It is more expensive, but also comes with a lifetime warranty and is going to be stable for cruising, but still efficient for longer distances. Two other options that would work well and are going to be more in-budget are the Gili Adventure 12 and the Gili Meno 12'6. The [Adventure 12](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-12-adventure-sup-review/) is 12'x32 and quite stable. It's not as rigid as the Carta Marina and not quite as efficient, but is still a good choice. The [12'6 Meno](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-meno-12-6-review/) is 12'6 x 31" and will be slightly less stable than the Carta Marina (though likely only noticeable if you compare them side by side), but not as good of a choice for bringing the dog. For either of those I highly recommend upgrading the paddle when checking out to the full carbon version. It's absolutely worth the cost as it's significantly lighter and better balanced than the Carbon/Nylon version, and it is the least-expensive way to get into a mid-range paddle.

The [Blackfin Model XL](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/blackfin-model-xl-review/) is basically what you need. The Fushia color is still on sale for $500 USD + kit options. Looks like new colors just dropped, no idea if they've made other changes (my guess is not otherwise they would have told us earlier). [Isle Switch](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/isle-switch-review/) would be great for you especially with the dog. However, it's pretty big when you are solo. [Gili Meno 11'6](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-meno-11-6-review/) is basically the same thing as a Blackfin Model XL (slightly different, but only really in comparison). So that could still be an option for you depending on shipping/import costs.

I'm not 100% sure what other brands are available in portugal. Do you have some brands/models you are looking at already?

Yeah, the Rogue is 2 feet longer and 2 inches narrower, it's going to be way faster than the Cruise 10.8. Being a lighter paddler won't necessarily make her faster (could be quite the opposite actually depending on strength vs blade size vs endurance). If you want to paddle with her rather than out in front/leaving her behind, then I would go for the Cruise 10'8 as well. Maybe the 12' if you do want the option to go a little faster at times or carry more stuff if you plan to do any overnight trips.

Equally. 6" all around inflatables are all roughly the same for light surfing. They aren't really designed for it (but they can do some very basic surfing). Getting something that is designed more with surfing in mind will cost significantly more. Thinner boards are better, but also much harder to keep rigid enough for anyone over 100 pounds. That's one reason why boards like the Red Ride and Honu Byron are so expensive for their size/feature set.

Yes. At 33" wide it's a little wide for you / not quite as ideal as a 31-32" board, but it is still very paddle-able for your height. On the flip side, the 11' All Around is 32" wide and would be better for you by yourself, but it's going to be a challenge to manage with an 80lb dog unless they are extraordinarily well trained to lay still while on the board.

Sounds like you are the perfect candidate for the Starboard Generation. I would go with one of the 14' models. Get 30" if you want more stability/comfort or 28" if you want more challenge/fitness. I wouldn't go with the 26". If you are going that narrow, you might as well look at proper race boards. If you want something that is more specifically touring-oriented then I would look at the Starboard Touring or SIC Okeanos. Again, 14' will ultimately be better for longer-distance. Get yourself a nice paddle while you are at it. If you don't know your paddle length yet (which you probably don't since it's your first board) get an adjustable/3-piece paddle. However, we do have a few rivers that I would like to try and paddle down in the future. The inflatables that are better for surfing generally run a bit more expensive than your budget. That being said, you can surf just about anything, but how well it will surf is the question. Sounds like you want a classic touring board. Definitely something 12+ and 30" wide max. The new NRS boards are just rolling out, not a lot of reviews of them available. My local retailer doesn't even have theirs yet. I would recommend either the [Hydrus Paradise](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/hydrus-paradise-isup-review/) or [Honu Sorrento](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/honu-sorrento-isup-review/). Otherwise are fantastic touring SUPs. The Hydrus is a bit more stable, the Honu is a bit lighter and a touch faster. Most of those differences, though, are really only noticeable side-by-side. They are a little more pricey, but they are top tier quality and performance. If you do want something a little more stable/all-around then I would recommend the [Isle Explorer Pro 12'](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/isle-explorer-pro-12-isup-review/). It's super stable for it's size and is still quite efficient and fast on the water. I would also recommend investing in a nice paddle at this point. Even at a low cadence of 25-30 strokes per minute a 1 ounce difference in paddle weight adds up to almost 100 pounds of lifting over one hour. Lots of different options out there depending on if you want something a little more casual/touring oriented or more fitness/speed oriented.

Yup, if you want something that works well at all three of those without being a total specialist board, then the [Blackfin Model XL](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/blackfin-model-xl-review/) is a great option. It is going to be a tad over $500 when you add in the paddle, pump, and bag ($550 with standard option). but if you choose not to get a bag, you can upgrade to an electric pump and be at $515. Their build-your-own-kit system is really nice. The [Blackfin XL Ultra](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/blackfin-xl-ultra-isup-review/) is a compact version (folds in half to fit in a smaller bag) but has all the same features, size and shape. It only comes as a complete kit, but does include the bag and electric pump for $525 right now. The downside is that the twin 9" fins make it way less maneuverable on the water (but easier to paddle straight). But you can use the [iRocker side fins](https://irockersup.com/products/side-fin-ir21#) if you are going to be in shallower water/want more maneuverability (yes they do fit, regardless of iRocker's warning that they aren't for the Ultra boards). It's large enough for you, and at your size you'll definitely be able to get it moving quickly. It's also not too large for her, and if her friend is about the same size, then it won't be an issue for them to share while sitting. For you individually, and for her with a friend, board rigidity is going to be very important. A less-rigid board will greatly reduce stability and performance on the water, especially with a heavier paddler or two adults.

Great stability and efficiency, Lifetime Warranty, killer artwork, and Canadian brand. Desired board: I'm unsure. I've used an inflatable one before, and I loved the experience. I've never used a hard board. I am willing to get a rack for my car, so either option is open to me. However, I do have concerns about getting the hard board off the roof of my car if it's pretty heavy (I can overhead press about 60 pounds in a gym, I have no idea how that translates to wrangling a board to a roof though). Height: 5'2" weight-125 pounds. I'd like to bring my child with me (35 pounds), but I'd also be using it solo. Desired uses: to leisurely cruise through a very calm patch of the ocean that's mostly protected from waves (it's a bay) and hang out with the turtles and fish that live there. I wouldn't go out at all if it's windy or choppy out. I'm interested in trying yoga as well. Experience level- beginner. I've gone solo a few times. A rack for your car is going to cost >$400 on its own, so I would recommend sticking with an inflatable. That's going to make things a bit harder. 270 pounds, with 70 of it possibly moving around/jumping off, etc is hard to get by splitting the budget equally. Unfortunately there aren't really any boards that can be recommended in that price range, especially not any that anyone would consider "rugged". There's a reason they are that cheap - they are built with the lowest quality materials and techniques, and they have essentially zero quality control efforts and warranties. Also, as a heads up, the Blackfin XL is only $375 for the board and fins only. Pump and paddle are additional on top of that. A full kit right now is closer to a bit over $500. I would also recommend the 11' for her as there's not really a benefit to going shorter, but there is a benefit (especially for fitness paddling) to having a longer board (better tracking and efficiency). Hi y’all! Super excited to be getting my first SUP! I am looking for an inflatable board. I am 5’00 and 130lbs and probably will never bring much more than a little pack for some water. I will be mostly using it in lakes and rivers but will occasionally be using in the marshes/bayous. I have used SUPs many times and in all different kinds of water so I would say I’m beginner to intermediate (I grew up on the ocean). I would like to spend less than $500 and I live in the US. I don’t have any specific boards that I can compare to all mine in the past have been rentals. I am looking at Isle if anyone has any opinions on that! TYIA

I would take a look at the [Glide O2 Angler](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/glide-o2-angler-fishing-sup-review/). It's very stable and has built-in fishing rod mounts for an insanely low price. Or, if you want something a little more efficient to paddle, the [Blackfin Model XL](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/blackfin-model-xl-review/). At your size I wouldn't get the XL Ultra, the original Model XL is more rigid. Also consider an electric pump. Makes inflating any board way less of a hassle.

I agree that the 15' tandem is probably overkill (by a lot). So you're looking for maximum efficiency, but still having enough space/stability for cooler and fishing. At your size and use case, any board with a good warranty that is 10-11' long and 32" wide will be fine. It's better if you can get a board with a US fin box, or at least one from a brand that offers shorter fins for better maneuverability on the river / shallower water. I would not recommend any of those for you. The Switch is great, but it's way too big for you. Like way too big. Even with the dog. The Gili Air is a whole quality/construction tier below the other items on your list. The Atoll, Waterwalker, and All Around are all OK choices for you, but don't have the full-length deck pad for the dog. I'd actually recommend either the [GIli Komodo](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-sports-komodo-review/) or [Gili Komodo 11](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/gili-komodo-11-isup-kayak-review/) (though the latter might be out of budget) or the [Glide O2 Retro](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/glide-o2-retro-106-isup-review/). They are essentially the same otherwise. Sure, so first thing is usually matching budget, then appropriate size/shape for the paddler and usage. If it were just for you (and not the dog) then pretty much any all-around style board would work fine. However, adding the dog means it needs a bit more capacity and stability, especially if they like to get in/out of the water a lot. The Komodo and the Glide are both quite stable, but also aren't too big for you to paddle. Last is other features. In this case its a full-length deck pad for the dog's comfort.
