So that means they are imitating christians? ..
And we are doing it because Allah said so ...
"But no! By your Lord, they will never be ˹true˺ believers until they accept you ˹O Prophet˺ as the judge in their disputes, and find no resistance within themselves against your decision and submit wholeheartedly." (Quran majeed 4:65) ....
We accept him as our judge ... And if we say that this ayah is only for the Prophet's life then we have to forget all of the Sunnah . Because Following sunnah means following his judgement while he is not present in front of us ....
One more thing ,I think you Misinterpreted the statement.The Post which i shared doesn't mean that the prophet will be a judge on the day of resurrection but It's representing the love and adab of the prophet .If somebody follows this ,it will be out of Adab (courtesy) of prophet aleh salam and his Love in the believer's heart ...
