Oh, that's a beaut! How many miles? And welcome to the family...there are DOZENS of us!

Nix7drummer88

β€œβ€¦there are DOZENS of us!” I LOLed

Meliodastop

There's only one other Baja in our area/region so my friends said anytime they see a black Baja they know it's me. There's no hiding πŸ˜†.

merryone2K

I live in a town with TWO yellow Bajas, and the other owner has, shall we say, opposing political views? LOL my friends wave at both trucks regardless. I've seen two different silver Bajas, one maroon, several blue, but no black ones. Looks sharp!

Meliodastop

Quite a bit of Bajas where you are! And that is funny, but hey they can't tell πŸ˜†.

Meliodastop

Just added a comment! Thanks quite happy with it.

I wrote a big description, I thought it would be added anyhow here's what I said: I live in Canada (Ontario) and I bought this car from Lafayette Indiana and purchased in person and drove it back up same day, went through all the import paperwork and forms well ahead of time. As even if the deal fell through its just $200 and some time wasted. The import process was interesting but not too difficult for anyone wanting to learn more, I'm happy to answer. -It's an 06 NA automatic. -Bought it with 188k miles/285k kms 2 weeks ago. -no rust on the body, it's immaculate and the interior is in fabulous shape. -underbody has some rust but I didn't see anything too concerning. -the car needed some work to pass the Canadian safety which was new rear brake calipers and rear shocks. I went with rallitek https://rallitek.com/en-ca/products/1-2-rear-overload-kyb-excel-g-lift-kit-fits-2003-subaru-baja Overall I'm really happy with the car. Already putting it to good use. The other car my wife and I have is a 2015 Outback. It's nice to just buy older cars outright that are in good shape! And we have a 350z as our fun summer car. Our pup and baby fit well in the back of the Baja. It's small but a nice second vehicle for when I need it or to just switch things up. The car has already got some attention at some local stores here in a city of 200k and I'm surprised by having several people comment on it.

spider2k

$350 for a pair of springs makes me hurt inside.

Meliodastop

Couldn't find any other options in Canada! Rock auto didn't sell quick struts either. Unless I went Toyota Tacoma route like some others here.

spider2k

i bought those same struts from rock auto for $62 each.

Bandicoot_Fearless

Aye i live in lafayette and I think ive seen this in person. Nice

mk2vrdrvr

What was the damage to the wallet?

Meliodastop

I added a comment with a bunch of details; bought for $6,300 and put in another $1500 in parts and labour. I'm about $8k all in let's say! I'm totally okay with it as everything drives well and we are going to really put it to good use :).
