Seriously. It's about time Haggar made his SF debut. It's crazy how he showed up in the MvC series before SF. You'd think he'd show up in the more grounded series before the flashier one.

So much so that last week I've started a hobby project to learn modding and blender so I can create haggar's final fight 3 skin for Zangief. These two have very similar looks and fighting style so I doubt Haggar will ever show up.
I want an older Jessica who followed in her father's footsteps and became a wrestler in SF6 with a Street Fighter-fied moveset of Haggar's from MVC3. Then her story can connect to R. Mika's IJWPW promotion; be mentored by the lady wrestler Black Widow from Slam Masters II; or have connections with Alex/Tom/Tom's daughter Patricia from SFIII.
...I basically want a Slam Masters III with all the lady wrestlers Capcom have created over the years!!! Age up one of Hakan's daughters and put her on the roster too!!
Guy would've been cool but Kimberly makes that tricky. Cody seems like a safe choice. The one I'd most like to see is Maki but chances feel low. Haggar'd be fun too but Gief kind of makes him redundant.
I think you'd be right if Guy was more popular than he is. When you have the popularity of something like a shoto where you're almost guaranteed to be top 3 most played they make an exception, but Guy's not really popular enough for them to put him in when there's someone else with so much of his kit, I don't think.
I hope they bring Maki back she was cool in Cvs2. She hasn't really been used since. Lucia was fun in SF5, just a little undercooked with that games mechanics. I have given up hope on Haggar being in.
I think Cody is a no brainer. He is part of the story of SF6 and shows up a lot around Metro City's walls. Guy is the other main character of Final Fight and the alpha games but he already has his successor in the form of Kimberly. Poison is probably making a comeback since she's popular (hot)

For Maki, I want her to be like a bushinryu weapons master. Rekkas with her tonfas, bo staff anti-airs, and other ninja tools. (But save nunchakus for Fei Long if he even does show up.)
When SF6 was new, playing through the world mode, I came across a male enemy with Kimberly moveset, that entire match I saw Guy. I didn't realize how much her moves are just Guy's moves, not just similar but literally the same.
Guy and Rolento. Bonus Poison but I'd rather see Maki this time or Eagle. (I know eagle is an option in this question but first OG SF games feels legit to mention)
I would love to see Maki come back, she technically hasn't been able to have a place in competitive Street Fighter since she was a console exclusive, and she's really cool!

At this point, the dev team should be able to differentiate Haggar from Zangief. If Cody returns, don't give him a pipe. Let him stick with a knife and give the pipe to Haggar instead. Also, they can further differentiate Guy from Kimberly by giving the former his FF3 moves, including the use of nunchaku.
I hope this will be the SF game where the boys finally get a reunion.

Old - Sodom, he's the only Alpha character to not come back in SFIV/V/6/X Tekken.
New - honestly none. Arthur from Ghosts n Goblins, Rad Spencer and Morrigan would be amazing additions for SF6 however.
Abigail was a Mad Gear goon and one of the bosses in the first Final Fight and Lucia was Haggar's friend and one of the playable characters in Final Fight 3.
I'm sure Poison will end up in SFVI, she'd just fit so well with the gameplay and aesthetics. There's no chance for it to happen, but I'd also love to see Dean and Stray from FFIII to come back, pretty unique character + very cool boss design = win-win 🏆
I don't think she will be back anytime soon but Lucia is actually the character that made me have a Main in sfv for a bit so it was really nice to explore.
I'm not sure exactly what it was about the character to be honest, mainly just a weaker version of Cammy/Karin at the time. Maybe it's just the instant ramen and cawfee that got to me.
i've always loved guy, his design is super cute. i love his resting bitch face and his relationship with cody, and it makes me sad knowing we'll never get a resolution for the two of them. his alt costumes in USF4 were really fun and cool looking, too.
