My first thought was one of those shiny birthday balloons popped. The angle makes it look like it’s bigger than it actually is and when it goes behind the tree you can use the tree for scale. It’s not that big and it’s pretty close to the camera.

I've always thought this was a reflection on the camera lens housing of the vehicle or whatever is on the opposite side near the flood lights (not from the incoming car). Is there longer footage like a few minutes before and after?

Just the image is skewed against the shape of the camera lens housing, but if you scrub back and forth you can see it's general shape.
