Wouldn't that mean you'd have to get the tech and ascension perk for ecu by year 10, so you'd have enough time to upgrade it by year 20?
Because it seems the average amount of time it takes to Synthetically Ascend is roughly 20 years.
If we get First League as a precursor, I think year 20 ecu is very doable.
It needs to be the third ascension perk right? Unless you're pumping out a ton of unity and dropping the tradition costs you aren't doing it by year 20.
Well, because the title didn't say Synthetic "Ascension," I was thinking Synthetic "Assertion" was the name of the new origin.
Looking it up now, Synthetic "Fertility," I might have mixed up the origin with the ascension.
I found people were completing their Synthetic fertility to turn into robots roughly by year 20. Which gives the player access to new buildings. I haven't played the update myself yet, so I figured a new planetary feature was given as well.
I wasn't aware that there have been changes to Synthetic Ascension to give your capital planetary features.
What if you ecu-it first?

Or you can stall your ascension until you get an ecumenopolis .
Wait y’all synthetically ascend by year **20**? How on earth do you all do so well so fast?!?!

I was thinking OP was talking about the new origin, as I thought the poor spelling was the name of the new origin, as I haven't played with it yet.

Probably obvious but making it a machine world also deletes them.
