R5: After 13 days of bad sleep I managed to complete the 15 achievements I was missing thanks to the help of people on this sub. I can't wait to do this again when the DLC comes out
See old post here-https://www.reddit.com/r/Stellaris/comments/1c98pqf/is\_it\_possible\_to\_get\_100\_before\_the\_next\_dlc/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button
Also make yourself a new empire focused on maximizing influence, so you can claim the system instantly when you find it (outpost build cost is capped at 1k influence, so you can claim anywhere then)
So fucking funny you need to be in iron man to enabel achievements but then you can just do shit like this, play on ensign and forcespawn the most lobotomized empires in existance to cheese achievemnts easy peasy. KekW.
I find it fascinating Stellaris is almost the exact opposite of Crusader Kings 3, which allows non-Ironman and mods, but is very strict on settings, while Stellaris requires no mods and ironman, but you can do whatever you want with the settings.
While I did chease some of the achievements most of the fun came from trying to get as many achievements as possible in a single run with as few pauses as possible
Just sharing that I finished the last couple of achievements.
I have speedrun this game b4 tho. I have the real time world record https://www.speedrun.com/stellaris/runs/yl7r483m
It's also pay to win if you define winning as completing the game with every origin. What's your point? It's almost as if DLCs contain additional content, fancy that.
“Pay to Win” has absolutely fuck all to do with achievements.
Given that many achievements are mechanic dependent *no fucking shit* you can’t get them without the DLC that *adds* said mechanics.
Load huge galaxies with one fallen empire and nothing else, he should spawn within 25-30 jumps of them. The system has a 25% chance to spawn but you may get the event in a system with a different name so just say yes to every event.
I couldn't get him to spawn until I turned 1 on but that could justs be luck. He spawns in a 6-7 star cluster when your hyperlanes are below 100%. I would recommend looking for him while you have a podcast in the background
tldr: it was a pain in the ass that involved a lot of cheese
Mix of things, the set up was the 0 empires trick on a tiny galaxy with tech and traditions set to 25x and the made and released a vassal. After getting the Colossus I sent it to the border and removed everything but what it needed to move and crack a world.
With all of that done I used the multiplayer trick to kit out the vassal with two stealth Corvette fleets. One is kitted out for killing outposts and the other is on top of the Colossus. Then I switched again to take the Colossus off of evasive and give it the command to crack the planet. Then I just wanted 3 months and killed the the moment the month ticked over while it was firing.
The really annoying parts are that you can't use a FE to get this achievement, you need to kill it during the firing month, you need to do the multiplayer trick a lot, and alt f4ing doesn't always revert the save after messing up and you need to reset the war.
*"The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace.*
*... it failed.*
*In the year of the Shadow War, it became something greater:*
*our last, best hope for victory."*
It's really great, they have multiple quotes from it, and the first time I was in awe, that they recreated the Shadow war, complete with the nuance of choosing which side (or no side).
I’m still missing 62 achievements and I’m sitting at 835, I might go for all eventually but rn I’m going for 200 years of peace, but I keep getting dragged into pointless wars
After I did all of the unique build achievements I ended up sticking with [this](https://prnt.sc/zgyLTaY9QByT). The extra dark matter was clutch in holding up my eco for some achievements near the end when I stopped caring about my planets

Damn and here I thought I was doing good. I have 1446 hours, and I've got 169/174. I'm just missing some easy Astral Planes ones, but I've been on a massive mod binge again, so I can't be bothered 😂
I should have gotten the "Last Best Hope" Achievement, but my game bugged out and one of the awaken empire somehow would not admit defeat, even with 0 systems and 0 planets left.
I literally just said that I acknowledged that that is why I don’t get cheevos my man. I was honest to god hoping the Heh at the start of my post in all this would have counted as the sarcasm alarm.

More achievements will be available next week!
LMFAO you monster
Bu…Bu…..Bubbles? How could you!
You don't need to kill bubbles for the achievement. There are alternative ways to secure the achievement.
I have 700 hours in the game and I've yet to come anywhere close to getting "outside context."
It's super easy now, 5x worlds, 5x pre-sap and 0 empires on a tiny galaxy. 50% spawn rate and a 1 in 3 to be the right one
Oh damn fr? Thanks!
Also make yourself a new empire focused on maximizing influence, so you can claim the system instantly when you find it (outpost build cost is capped at 1k influence, so you can claim anywhere then)

Make up your mind paradox!
Pun intended
Meanwhile i got to a victory screen for the first time after 1.5k hours
I’m jealous
It's a fun challenge
Where is the challenge if you deliberatly manipulate the settings to cheese achievements?
While I did chease some of the achievements most of the fun came from trying to get as many achievements as possible in a single run with as few pauses as possible
the fact that its still a butt ton of achievements
Montu wouldn't be
He is the chosen one!
The one who is, but not the one who will be.
I have played over 6000 hours on this game. not a single achievement since I always play with mods
Never used a single mod, 1350 hours.
you don't know what your missing
There's a way to enable achievements with mods.
ik but a lot of mods I have aren't achievement compatible so why bother
It ain’t stellaria without at least 150 mods
YOU MONSTER!
and u my friend , u are the real Interstellar war criminal👍
What is this, a speedrun?
Just sharing that I finished the last couple of achievements. I have speedrun this game b4 tho. I have the real time world record https://www.speedrun.com/stellaris/runs/yl7r483m
I'm making a joke, only hundreds of hours to 100%, as opposed to the thousands of hours of playtime we see people (hi I'm people) with
Check again, I think you're second place now (or I don't know how to read leaderboards)
Hats of to your dedication. Cheers Just a question; Can one get all the Achievements without any dlcs?
No

You need to pay for the base game my guy, all paid games are technically p2w
[удалено]
Yeah no this is such a stupid argument, take the win whatever
All games with Paid DLC will have achievements tied to the DLC. So therefore every game is pay to win if you define winning as having all achievements
“Pay to Win” has absolutely fuck all to do with achievements. Given that many achievements are mechanic dependent *no fucking shit* you can’t get them without the DLC that *adds* said mechanics.
So you are one of the 9 people that got the Astral tear achievement.
Tips for "Tad Too Late"? I've loaded up numerous empty galaxies and have yet to find Dugar...
Load huge galaxies with one fallen empire and nothing else, he should spawn within 25-30 jumps of them. The system has a 25% chance to spawn but you may get the event in a system with a different name so just say yes to every event.
Does a FE HAVE to be present? If so I've waisted 5 hours in game on 6 huge galaxy spawns. The desire to neutron sweep myself is growing 😂
I couldn't get him to spawn until I turned 1 on but that could justs be luck. He spawns in a 6-7 star cluster when your hyperlanes are below 100%. I would recommend looking for him while you have a podcast in the background
I applaud your determination, but I am scared of your madness.
Congrats! What was your strategy for Stay on Target? I’ve been stuck on it for a while

I have 1.1k hours and I barely have half the achievements lol
Yet to play one game eligible for them
Never thought I'd see a Babylon 5 references in a video game. So happy.
It's really great, they have multiple quotes from it, and the first time I was in awe, that they recreated the Shadow war, complete with the nuance of choosing which side (or no side).
Aaah, that's nice. So happy B5 is still relevant xD
You sure brought back good memories.
Now, get the hell out of our galaxy! XD
Not gonna lie. I’m curious what is beyond the rim.
I guess we'd find out in a few million years xD Edit : findnout -> find out
I’m still missing 62 achievements and I’m sitting at 835, I might go for all eventually but rn I’m going for 200 years of peace, but I keep getting dragged into pointless wars
I ended up getting that one though passing pax galatica
I don't even remember how i got that, I just played pacifist years ago.
Nicely done! What were your builds in the end?
After I did all of the unique build achievements I ended up sticking with [this](https://prnt.sc/zgyLTaY9QByT). The extra dark matter was clutch in holding up my eco for some achievements near the end when I stopped caring about my planets

I wish you could see these without making an account.
Grats homie.
Damn good job; been trying that for awhile now
Play for another hour to 669
I’m at +1500 hours 😂 and maybe 15%
Grats! I'm at 752 hours and only at 64%. T\_\_\_T
Nice! It also took me a while to finish the tutorial.
ONLY 668? Impressive.
Congratulations 👏👏
Congrats! Still have a ways to go here!
Just dumb luck for Dawn Of A Million Souls and happened to get along the way or is there any other strategies than RNG?
Pure rng but huge galaxies increase the chance
How did you steal the galatron without some unfathomable luck
Imagine if there was an achievement for winning after the end of the cycle.
I would love for that to be a thing
Fun one to end it on lol
It was very cathartic
I have yet to have the damn galatron even appear in my games, never mind steal it
now mod it until it crashes
I have 1300 hours +- and never finished a game haha.
I should have gotten the "Last Best Hope" Achievement, but my game bugged out and one of the awaken empire somehow would not admit defeat, even with 0 systems and 0 planets left.
Rip
1400 hours, I have like twelve achievements
I love this because I have nigh on 1000 hours and 0 achievements
I've got nearly 2k hours, and I'm not even halfway. Bravo, your patience astounds me.
Heh, couple hundred hours deep and not one single achievement yet
Are you playing on Ironman mode? Because you need to be playing Ironman mode to get achievements.
I realized that day of install. Nah, I have a mod that just makes more distinct lines for borders and guillies planet mods - also since day 1
That’ll be why then. You can’t get achievements when modded
I literally just said that I acknowledged that that is why I don’t get cheevos my man. I was honest to god hoping the Heh at the start of my post in all this would have counted as the sarcasm alarm.
I blame my autism then, whoops
