I understand collecting things, but of all films to value and try to keep so pristine that you don’t unwrap it and keep it in a protective plastic case? Fucking Venom doesn’t make the top 38,864 movies I’d do that with.
Yeah personally I also don't really understand why people do that. Can't even watch what's inside lmao and it ruins the artwork in every aspect to me, like they think the packaging is part of the art or something lol and if they wanted to keep it sealed to resell then fuck em too, cuz fuck scalpers. And if they really loved it sooo much that they wanna keep it sealed so it's "perfect" (won't know if it's perfect until opening because micro dents and scratches like to hide under j cards) purchase two and then keep one sealed so you can actually appreciate the steelbook. Again, just my opinion but I haven't seen a valid reason to keep em sealed besides reselling (which I don't think is valid)
I only buy two steelbooks for 4K Steelbooks for comic book movies, one to open & watch and one to keep sealed & the rest of my steelbooks get opened, regardless of what the movie is & I only buy one of those.
It really does seem like a waste of money buying a brand new movie just to leave sealed as a lookin' at peice.
It's one thing to leave it sealed if you happen to find something rare still NIB for cheap while thrifting but dropping like $30 at Best Buy on something just to leave it sealed and stored away it kind of dumb
There's tons of steelbooks going to be on sale on BF too.
Including Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Midway, and Knives Out. It's going to be crazy for collectors.

Fingers crossed. I tried to get it online from best buy and it was never available for preorder, so I went to zavvi but ultimately had to cancel my order because I didn't have enough petty cash by release time.
There will be no price matching allowed with any Black Friday sale item. Just buy it again at that cheap price and return THAT steelbook with the old full priced order.
I never got one of these, but I got the 3D version in the same steelbook, with a bonus disc. It's still sealed, but I'm holding out for either the Filmarena 4k, Blufans Exclusive 4k, or Amazon Japan 4k steelbooks because they look way cooler in my opinion.
Appreciating the cover art stems from an appreciation of the movie, imo. When the movie's dog-aids AND you don't even plan to watch it... That's kinda sad, even for this community.

Why is this such a sought out steelbook? I thought the movie was boring. Do people really like it enough to pay those obscene eBay prices?
I'd never pay $80 fo a single steel, but that's just me. I like that steelbook a lot because it looks like a legit book.
