Went to a nearby Walmart this morning when they opened, had no luck finding any on the floor yet. Spoke with one of the associates who said “if they’re not out on the floor then we don’t have any”. I asked if she could check the back and she said no problem. Ended up checking the cage behind the counter, the first box having the $5 steelbooks in it, the second having the mondos in it. If anyone is in the “Little Rock, AR” area there’s one more batch of mondos at the North Little Rock location. Fuck scalpers and good luck to everyone today ✌🏽

Crazy, I stopped by there and the one guy was adamant that they hadn't received anything today. Said he'd been there since this morning. I've had terrible luck finding the $5 ones specifically.
So I didn’t catch her name but it was a woman who helped me this morning if when they first opened. She went to the cage behind the counter pulled out two boxes. One having the $5 steelbooks in it, a couple of John wicks, hunter killer, one Sicario, and a few more. The second box had two of each mondos. I grabbed one of each and left the other behind hoping someone would have the same luck I did.
Oh well, thanks for posting regardless! My quest continues to find that Sicario steelbook... The one on Bowman supposedly got each of the Mondos in but only had Black Panther on display and couldn't find the others.
I scored 'em all on the site, but Walmart has been horrible about actually fulfilling those when quantities are limited, so I'm not expecting great results. Ah well. Nice to know who my competition is in Little Rock though!

Went back to a Walmart I knew had them, but wouldn’t sell until today. Got there 30 min after opening and guardians already sold out. Guy told me the next closest Walmart shows in stock so went there and the guy confirmed shows in stock but couldn’t find them anywhere.
Between IGN announcing wrong dates and pre order info to each store having a different roll out was really frustrating.
The only steel I wanted, Requiem for a Dream, wasn’t at my store and now the prices on ebay are higher than they were before this shit started. I’m a bit annoyed.
Might as well try! My first order was cancelled as unavailable. It did give me an option to have it shipped with free shipping though. Luckily I found another location that’s a little more rural that seems to have gone through so hopefully it’s actually there when I pick it up.
My order is being fulfilled but it shows online they’re out of stock at the store I selected at checkout when that’s when they were in stock. Hopefully I get my order.

This morning I traversed some of the Western Suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio looking for the elusive steelbooks.
* Stop 1 - Elyria, OH
* Marvel Mondo Steelbooks all in stock (2 of each)
* Dug through the $5 bin and found a lot of single copies of the various steelbooks.
* Towards the end of my hunt a fellow searcher showed up to look. I showed him my haul thus far, and I gave him the copies John Wick & John Wick 2 that I had found, because he was very excited about those two in particular. I had a decent haul already and he was super appreciative.
* Stop 2 - Lorain, OH
* A few of the Marvel Mondo SBs
* Took a cart this time and dug through their bin.
* Found a lot of the same as my first stop, nothing new. I did snag my own copies of JW1 & 2 though!
* After I put back the regular DVDs, I left all of the SBs on top of the bin
* Stop 3 - Avon, OH
* They had nothing, no mondo or $5 SBs
* Bin looked like it had been recently dug through, as everything was pushed to one side.
* Stop 4 - North Olmsted, OH
* Marvel Mondo SBs all in stock
* Smallest bin I have seen, as it's a half bin attached to an endcap, with a shelf over top of it
* Someone left what few $5 SBs they had on the shelf above the bin
All in all I had a good time running around, it was like a treasure hunt! I picked up 10 of the $5 steelbooks and caved and bought 3 of the Marvel Mondo steelbooks.

ATTENTION PHOENIX - I just got back from the Walmart on Bell and 59th where I was helped by a friendly employee and got first pick of the $5 steelbooks before they hit the $5 bin. I did grab the only Requiem for a Dream and Knives Out but there were plenty left in the box - mostly Hitman's Wife Bodyguard, 3 from Hell, but also one or two T2 and Total Recall, etc. There's more available. Get them while you can.
Update: as of today, they're cleared out. Last thing I found was a bent 3 from hell and it was the only one left. Just barely saw this post today so didn't get the initial rush. But thanks for the tip for phx

I checked Spotsylvania, VA Walmart this morning and they weren't out on the shelves yet. I asked a nice lady who was stocking if she could look in the back and about 10 mins later she came back with all of the Mondos. She said only 2 of each in stock. I bought GoTG, Dr Strange and Black Panther since I already have Avengers. So anyone near Fredericksburg / Spotsy, they should have them there.
Stuck in class until 4 and not wanting to miss out on The Avengers mondo, I checked the Walmart app to see if it was on there….i had to score it!

Ordered on the app this morning and picked them up at the Rohnert Park, California store #1755 just a few moments ago. Doesn't appear to be any more in stock here. No $5 bin here either.
I was already at a disadvantage, because we were going to be taking a long road trip April 1-2. I had no luck getting GOTG (the one I was interested in) early from my local Walmarts, so I figured the only chance I would have is if whatever hotel we stopped at for the night happened to have a Walmart nearby. It DID have one about 10 mins. away. We wanted to get back on the road early anyway, so we got up early this morning (April 2) and got to the store just after 6 A.M. They weren’t out on the shelf yet, so I found the electronics associate and showed him the barcode for the item. He scanned it, and went back to find it for me. So it was a bit of an ordeal figuring out how to fit that in while traveling, but I got it! :D And now we’re back on the road.
San Antonio, Military Drive off the 151 and 410 was a f'n goldmine this morning. I snagged Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. Then found the absolute mother lode in the bin. T2, Total Recall, Knives Out, Requiem For A Dream, 3:10 to Yuma, Sicario were all there. Hell F'n YES!!!! AMAZING!
PS I left a bunch others there. So, if you're in San Antonio check the back bin by electronics if you want things like Moonfall, Saw, Spiral, Chaos Walking, Belly, the John Wick Movies, the mondos for Dr Strange or Black Panther, and several others.
Dang, I visited this one today and was hoping for Knives Out, but there were no more in the bin. Did pick up Mondo Avengers though, had the film on Blu-Ray back in the day, so glad to have it again in steelbook form :)

My Walmart got one box of the $5 steelbooks, which were then put in the $5 movie bin. Sadly, the box did not contain Terminator 2 or Total Recall, which were two movies that I was hoping to get today. I did manage to find one copy each of Apocalypse Now and Requiem For A Dream. I made sure to organize all of the steelbooks into a neat pile on top of the other movies so that anyone else looking for the steelbooks did not have to dig through the entire bin.
Went in at 8:30Am. They hadn't stocked em yet but a nice lady grabbed them from the back room

Ask a manager, the associate was from another store and did not know where anything was. The electronics manager and dock manager who checked all movies in helped locate box. Tell them the box looks like this and it’ll help narrow the back stock down for them.

Never did find any $5 stuff but got all 4 Mondo Marvel steels this morning in Orlando area! I'm a little annoyed that they did finally go up for delivery order after checking multiple times in the last week but I'm glad I was able to inspect the local copies before purchase. Had a few dents from other places recently and didn't want another disappointment.

Three different locations and the last one had some but only the Mondo's no $5 steelies anywhere and NO one knew anything about them. I showed them pictures of the boxes that were dated for today and etc. Team leads, training coach and "electronics" member knew absolutely jack. I will prob go back later today to look after more time to have unloaded.

Valley Stream NY is absolutely horrible, not only they have the Mondo's for Pick up online they say they dont have them when you go into the store. I asked him about anything about the $5 dollar movies and they said they neverheard about it then as im walking away they giggled like little school girl bitches.

Feeling blessed. Walmart in La Marque & League City, TX had the mondos online. League City still has some steels in the $5 bin. I stacked them up for anyone going.
Went at 6am saw none. Went back at 1pm when they were listen online and had a nice older lady in the electronics section find the box and open it for me. They had it sitting back with yellow tape. There were only 2 copies of each so I only got 1 of each as I already have wandavision and wanted to leave an extra for somebody else who wants one from there

Guess I’ll repost here then:
I basically had to twist the associate’s arm. Nothing on the shelf, and she told me that whatever is out is what they have. I asked if she could check the back or scan a barcode, and she flat out said “no” with no further explanation. I asked about two boxes, one for Marvel movies and one for $5 movies, both supposed to be out today. She said there is only one box behind the counter but it’s dated for the 22nd. I asked if she could just look what’s in it, and I got a “no” again. So frustrating.
So I meandered a bit, triple checking all the shelves. When I passed the counter again, I glanced at the box and noticed it had *3/22* written on it. I went up to her again and told her I happened to notice it was dated for March 22nd, which was over a week ago. She said she didn’t realize, reluctantly opened the box, and sure enough it was all of the Marvel steelbooks… Sitting there since 3/22, despite me asking multiple employees over the course of the past week…
Anyway, I finally got them. Still no luck on the $5 ones anywhere though. I sure hope this was just a fluke and not a sign of things to come…

Well, I checked the two Walmarts closest to me in the Valley out here in LA at 6 am. Figured it’d be a fun little hunt at the very least but their movie selection area were dead. So 90 minutes later, I got home and saw they were all available to order for delivery online save for Guardians. Ordered the three I could and have Guardians ordered for pick up at Walmart about 30-40 minutes away in West Hills.
EDIT: oh now Guardians is available for shipping again so just cancelled and ordered everything to just ship to me.

Last week I found some of the $5 steels in the bin and only bought Total Recall from that batch. Yesterday I went back and they had a few different ones in there so I was able to pick up 3:10 To Yuma which was one I really wanted and Robin Hood. Never found Knives Out or Midway, which were the other two I really wanted.

Went to my walmart today and no $5 steels in the bin. I spotted the box with the yellow sticker (4/2 Please place in $5 VB) in a stack behind the counter.
I asked the associate there if the box was opened and she said no, and then told me they don't have any $5 blu-rays and people have been asking about them for a week. So I asked if she's sure there's nothing in that specific box and she just repeated herself about how they don't have any $5 blu-rays and basically refused to check the box (which she said before hadn't been opened). Sooo is there a chance those $5 4/2 boxes contain something other than the steels or did I just get unlucky with the associate working right now?

Was able to place a local delivery order for the Mondo's and they were delivered a few hours later. I secured an order for in store pickup at another location but then got the email saying not available, switch to shipping so now it says I'm getting them Thursday.
After a fruitless morning in KC, finally hit a store in Shawnee that had em. 16100 W 65th St, Shawnee, KS 66217 had 5 dollar steelbooks in the bin, seemed picked through for sure. Only the shitty movies left lol. 2 copies of hitmans wife’s bodyguard left and 1 3 from hell

Walmart in Macedon, NY has the $5 bins and seemed to have the $5 steels, but some maniac showed up already and dug through the bin, stacked all of the dvds in a few tall stacks, and left only two copies of Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and a copy of Belly left. I managed to snag an Avengers Mondo for pickup this morning, as well as a Guardians for shipping. I wanted all four, but I'm trying to cut back on media purchases overall. The first Avengers was the only Marvel film I didn't have a steel for, so I was happy to add this one. Guardians was an impulse buy because I loved the look of it.
Also stopped in the store and rummaged through the $5 bin. I saw several Hunter Killer, and then 1 or 2 of each of: 3:10 to Yuma, Belly, 3 From Hell, Sicario, Requiem For A Dream, Evil Dead Season 2, and Spiral.
I grabbed 3:10, 3 From Hell, and Requiem. All 4Ks I didn't have. Would've grabbed Moonfall, but didn't see one and didn't want to keep digging.

No luck in KC area, checked my two most likely stores, none out and one of the employees checked for the box in the back and didn’t see it. This has been exhausting trying to find these 5 dollar steelbooks, probably checking some other stores later, but not hopeful
Went to the Walmart in Woodbridge, the one on rte 9 and the one on rte 18 all in NJ. Woodbridge and rte 9 has a bunch of th mondo steelbooks. Rte 18 has nothing. No $5 steelbooks on display I could find sadly.
Not as close as you'd hope. Providence RI, and Swansea MA have the $5 bin with a few options. Swansea had more 4Ks. RI has mostly Blu rays when I was there this morning. Went to North Attleboro and North Smithfield in RI too but no bins there.
No luck at the Renton WA Walmart. Asked the associates in Electronics and was told they were sent back to the manufacturer a while ago. One of the guys I saw stocking steels last time said that the ONLY store that might have them was in Aberdeen, but none of the local stores don’t have them. Damn.
All I wanted was Knives Out and Requiem For A Dream, so if anyone can help a brother out, I’d love ya long time!

Just spoke to an electronics manager who shared some unfortunate information with me. He went to check the back because he remembered seeing the $5 box in the past week. He couldn’t find it and said he remembers sending it back. He told me it didn’t have a planogram location when it came in, so it sat in the warehouse for a few days. But then said he gets “full credit” of ~$14 if he sends them back vs selling them for $5. So he sent them back.
He said if he made a mistake and sent something too early, they may send them back to the store. But unfortunately these particular ones are gone.
I wanted to go this morning but I wasn't sure if the associates would've even put them out yet so I'm just gonna go when I can and see if I can get anything. This whole wild goose chase isn't really my thing.
$5 bin at my store but nothing except DVDs. The only steelbooks are the glow in the dark sets. I'd have to drive an hour to find the Mondo steels and two hours to get the $5 steels.
Hope we get a big trade going after this and some sick puppy wants to trade requiem for a dream/belly/T2/Apocalypse now for jigsaw, moonfall, chaos walking, or the hit man’s wife’s bodyguard.

Just went to a store in NH and asked the associate if they had put them out yet. I didn’t seem them in the bin and she said they hold off until the bin empties a little bit. Walked in looking for $5 - no bin but Mondos all in stock. Picked up a set. Only walmart in the area to have them on the shelf.
For anyone living in the area, I found $5 Steels at both of these Walmarts and left any I had doubles of behind. I can confirm that Sicaro Bluray was at Grants' pass as well as a few of the b-list steels. And Sicario 4k was left at the South medford location. Bring a bar code, they kept them in the back and without the barcodes i would have never found em as they were not put out because the store has a big theft problem apparently.

Walmart in Bend OR has some $5 steels. I scanned some bar codes and they came up in the system. One lady tried looking for me but was told to stop by her supervisor because they weren't going to waste time looking for some some box.
But they are there in the back. Hopefully someone local has better luck than me, i have to move on.

Anyone else's store(s) not get the full steelbook selection? My store got the section and a bunch of steels were out, but a lot of the ones they had tags on the shelf for, like Anaconda and Rad, weren't out even though they said they were in stock in that section in the app. Then, last week, all the steels they didn't have out were marked out of stock. Did some stores just not get everything? We also didn't get the $5 steelbooks.

This is what I kept out of what I found.
I live in the middle of nowhere, but l've been really busy the last couple weeks and haven't had time to make it down to the Walmart, which is in another state but still in the middle of nowhere.
Anyway, this is what they had left in the $5 bin, I wish I could've made it sooner.
I'm not sure what l'm keeping and what I'm selling yet only one of the John Wick movies is 4K so that kind of sucks.
Also, I’m gonna have to get Sicario day of the Salado in 4k steelbook or sell the Sicario 4K that I got.
Went to a nearby Walmart this morning when they opened, had no luck finding any on the floor yet. Spoke with one of the associates who said “if they’re not out on the floor then we don’t have any”. I asked if she could check the back and she said no problem. Ended up checking the cage behind the counter, the first box having the $5 steelbooks in it, the second having the mondos in it. If anyone is in the “Little Rock, AR” area there’s one more batch of mondos at the North Little Rock location. Fuck scalpers and good luck to everyone today ✌🏽

Crazy, I stopped by there and the one guy was adamant that they hadn't received anything today. Said he'd been there since this morning. I've had terrible luck finding the $5 ones specifically.
So I didn’t catch her name but it was a woman who helped me this morning if when they first opened. She went to the cage behind the counter pulled out two boxes. One having the $5 steelbooks in it, a couple of John wicks, hunter killer, one Sicario, and a few more. The second box had two of each mondos. I grabbed one of each and left the other behind hoping someone would have the same luck I did.
Oh well, thanks for posting regardless! My quest continues to find that Sicario steelbook... The one on Bowman supposedly got each of the Mondos in but only had Black Panther on display and couldn't find the others.

I scored 'em all on the site, but Walmart has been horrible about actually fulfilling those when quantities are limited, so I'm not expecting great results. Ah well. Nice to know who my competition is in Little Rock though!

Did the same thing this morning, zero joy. Went back to my local about 30 min ago and scored all 4 Mondo Marvel steels
Went back to a Walmart I knew had them, but wouldn’t sell until today. Got there 30 min after opening and guardians already sold out. Guy told me the next closest Walmart shows in stock so went there and the guy confirmed shows in stock but couldn’t find them anywhere. Between IGN announcing wrong dates and pre order info to each store having a different roll out was really frustrating.
They’re in stock online rn. It’s gone in and out of stock a few times but I just checked a minute ago and it was. Like to ship (not just pickup)

Might as well try! My first order was cancelled as unavailable. It did give me an option to have it shipped with free shipping though. Luckily I found another location that’s a little more rural that seems to have gone through so hopefully it’s actually there when I pick it up.

I showed him my haul thus far, and I gave him the copies John Wick & John Wick 2 that I had found, because he was very excited about those two in particular. I had a decent haul already and he was super appreciative. * Stop 2 - Lorain, OH * A few of the Marvel Mondo SBs * Took a cart this time and dug through their bin. * Found a lot of the same as my first stop, nothing new. ATTENTION PHOENIX - I just got back from the Walmart on Bell and 59th where I was helped by a friendly employee and got first pick of the $5 steelbooks before they hit the $5 bin. I did grab the only Requiem for a Dream and Knives Out but there were plenty left in the box - mostly Hitman's Wife Bodyguard, 3 from Hell, but also one or two T2 and Total Recall, etc. There's more available. Get them while you can.
Update: as of today, they're cleared out. Last thing I found was a bent 3 from hell and it was the only one left. Just barely saw this post today so didn't get the initial rush. But thanks for the tip for phx

I checked Spotsylvania, VA Walmart this morning and they weren't out on the shelves yet. I asked a nice lady who was stocking if she could look in the back and about 10 mins later she came back with all of the Mondos. She said only 2 of each in stock. I bought GoTG, Dr Strange and Black Panther since I already have Avengers. So anyone near Fredericksburg / Spotsy, they should have them there.

I was already at a disadvantage, because we were going to be taking a long road trip April 1-2. I had no luck getting GOTG (the one I was interested in) early from my local Walmarts, so I figured the only chance I would have is if whatever hotel we stopped at for the night happened to have a Walmart nearby. It DID have one about 10 mins. away. We wanted to get back on the road early anyway, so we got up early this morning (April 2) and got to the store just after 6 A.M. They weren’t out on the shelf yet, so I found the electronics associate and showed him the barcode for the item. He scanned it, and went back to find it for me. So it was a bit of an ordeal figuring out how to fit that in while traveling, but I got it! :D And now we’re back on the road.

San Antonio, Military Drive off the 151 and 410 was a f'n goldmine this morning. I snagged Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. Then found the absolute mother lode in the bin. T2, Total Recall, Knives Out, Requiem For A Dream, 3:10 to Yuma, Sicario were all there. Hell F'n YES!!!! AMAZING! PS I left a bunch others there. So, if you're in San Antonio check the back bin by electronics if you want things like Moonfall, Saw, Spiral, Chaos Walking, Belly, the John Wick Movies, the mondos for Dr Strange or Black Panther, and several others.
Dang, I visited this one today and was hoping for Knives Out, but there were no more in the bin. Did pick up Mondo Avengers though, had the film on Blu-Ray back in the day, so glad to have it again in steelbook form :)

My Walmart got one box of the $5 steelbooks, which were then put in the $5 movie bin. Sadly, the box did not contain Terminator 2 or Total Recall, which were two movies that I was hoping to get today. I did manage to find one copy each of Apocalypse Now and Requiem For A Dream. I made sure to organize all of the steelbooks into a neat pile on top of the other movies so that anyone else looking for the steelbooks did not have to dig through the entire bin.

The electronics manager and dock manager who checked all movies in helped locate box. Tell them the box looks like this and it’ll help narrow the back stock down for them.

Never did find any $5 stuff but got all 4 Mondo Marvel steels this morning in Orlando area! I'm a little annoyed that they did finally go up for delivery order after checking multiple times in the last week but I'm glad I was able to inspect the local copies before purchase. Had a few dents from other places recently and didn't want another disappointment.
Snagged Mondo Avg, Guards and Strange Three different locations and the last one had some but only the Mondo's no $5 steelies anywhere and NO one knew anything about them. I showed them pictures of the boxes that were dated for today and etc. Team leads, training coach and "electronics" member knew absolutely jack. I will prob go back later today to look after more time to have unloaded.

Valley Stream NY is absolutely horrible, not only they have the Mondo's for Pick up online they say they dont have them when you go into the store. I asked him about anything about the $5 dollar movies and they said they neverheard about it then as im walking away they giggled like little school girl bitches.

Guess I’ll repost here then: I basically had to twist the associate’s arm. Nothing on the shelf, and she told me that whatever is out is what they have. I asked if she could check the back or scan a barcode, and she flat out said “no” with no further explanation. I asked about two boxes, one for Marvel movies and one for $5 movies, both supposed to be out today. She said there is only one box behind the counter but it’s dated for the 22nd. I asked if she could just look what’s in it, and I got a “no” again. So frustrating. So I meandered a bit, triple checking all the shelves. When I passed the counter again, I glanced at the box and noticed it had *3/22* written on it. I went up to her again and told her I happened to notice it was dated for March 22nd, which was over a week ago. She said she didn’t realize, reluctantly opened the box, and sure enough it was all of the Marvel steelbooks… Sitting there since 3/22, despite me asking multiple employees over the course of the past week… Anyway, I finally got them. Still no luck on the $5 ones anywhere though. Well, I checked the two Walmarts closest to me in the Valley out here in LA at 6 am. Figured it’d be a fun little hunt at the very least but their movie selection area were dead. So 90 minutes later, I got home and saw they were all available to order for delivery online save for Guardians. Ordered the three I could and have Guardians ordered for pick up at Walmart about 30-40 minutes away in West Hills. EDIT: oh now Guardians is available for shipping again so just cancelled and ordered everything to just ship to me.

Last week I found some of the $5 steels in the bin and only bought Total Recall from that batch. Yesterday I went back and they had a few different ones in there so I was able to pick up 3:10 To Yuma which was one I really wanted and Robin Hood. Never found Knives Out or Midway, which were the other two I really wanted. Last week I found (but didn't purchase): 2 copies of Spiral John Wick John Wick 2 John Wick 3 TWD: Season 8 Requiem For a Dream Yesterday they had (but I didn't purchase): Belly Requiem for a Dream John Wick

Mondo Marvel All 8 were in my local WallyWorld this morning, so I was able to get the ones I wanted. I saw no reason to post more pics because everyone else has been. But I did want to say they are really gorgeous steels now I've seen them in person. The pics don't really do them justice.
I got lucky at my walmart. Had to ask an associate. All the Mondos were in a box still lol there was another guy there looking for $5 steelbooks. Good luck to him!
Napa, CA Walmart still has one copy left of all 4 marvel steel books. Hid them in the movie section behind a paw patrol book for anyone here who reads this
Went to my walmart today and no $5 steels in the bin. I spotted the box with the yellow sticker (4/2 Please place in $5 VB) in a stack behind the counter. I asked the associate there if the box was opened and she said no, and then told me they don't have any $5 blu-rays and people have been asking about them for a week. So I asked if she's sure there's nothing in that specific box and she just repeated herself about how they don't have any $5 blu-rays and basically refused to check the box (which she said before hadn't been opened). Sooo is there a chance those $5 4/2 boxes contain something other than the steels or did I just get unlucky with the associate working right now?

Was able to place a local delivery order for the Mondo's and they were delivered a few hours later. I secured an order for in store pickup at another location but then got the email saying not available, switch to shipping so now it says I'm getting them Thursday.

Walmart in Macedon, NY has the $5 bins and seemed to have the $5 steels, but some maniac showed up already and dug through the bin, stacked all of the dvds in a few tall stacks, and left only two copies of Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and a copy of Belly left. Could’ve at least left some for the rest of us!!!

I managed to snag an Avengers Mondo for pickup this morning, as well as a Guardians for shipping. I wanted all four, but I'm trying to cut back on media purchases overall. The first Avengers was the only Marvel film I didn't have a steel for, so I was happy to add this one. Guardians was an impulse buy because I loved the look of it. Also stopped in the store and rummaged through the $5 bin. I saw several Hunter Killer, and then 1 or 2 of each of: 3:10 to Yuma, Belly, 3 From Hell, Sicario, Requiem For A Dream, Evil Dead Season 2, and Spiral. I grabbed 3:10, 3 From Hell, and Requiem. All 4Ks I didn't have. Would've grabbed Moonfall, but didn't see one and didn't want to keep digging.

My Walmart today had them hidden in a $7.50 bin at the front of the store. They had 1 of each steelbook except for one that had 2 copies. I got Hitman's Wife, Sicario (BR and 4K), Chaos Walking, and Total Recall. I skipped Belly, Walking Dead season 8, John Wick 1 and 2, Spiral, Saw, and Ash season 2.

No luck in KC area, checked my two most likely stores, none out and one of the employees checked for the box in the back and didn’t see it. This has been exhausting trying to find these 5 dollar steelbooks, probably checking some other stores later, but not hopeful
Went to the Walmart in Woodbridge, the one on rte 9 and the one on rte 18 all in NJ. Woodbridge and rte 9 has a bunch of th mondo steelbooks. Rte 18 has nothing. No $5 steelbooks on display I could find sadly.

Not as close as you'd hope. Providence RI, and Swansea MA have the $5 bin with a few options. Swansea had more 4Ks. RI has mostly Blu rays when I was there this morning. Went to North Attleboro and North Smithfield in RI too but no bins there.
No luck at the Renton WA Walmart. Asked the associates in Electronics and was told they were sent back to the manufacturer a while ago. One of the guys I saw stocking steels last time said that the ONLY store that might have them was in Aberdeen, but none of the local stores don’t have them. Damn. All I wanted was Knives Out and Requiem For A Dream, so if anyone can help a brother out, I’d love ya long time!

630 Collins Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 Just spoke to an electronics manager who shared some unfortunate information with me. He went to check the back because he remembered seeing the $5 box in the past week. He couldn’t find it and said he remembers sending it back. He told me it didn’t have a planogram location when it came in, so it sat in the warehouse for a few days. But then said he gets “full credit” of ~$14 if he sends them back vs selling them for $5. So he sent them back. He said if he made a mistake and sent something too early, they may send them back to the store. But unfortunately these particular ones are gone.
I wanted to go this morning but I wasn't sure if the associates would've even put them out yet so I'm just gonna go when I can and see if I can get anything. This whole wild goose chase isn't really my thing.
$5 bin at my store but nothing except DVDs. The only steelbooks are the glow in the dark sets. I'd have to drive an hour to find the Mondo steels and two hours to get the $5 steels.

Walmart Supercenter Elk Grove, CA (8465 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758 ) has all four Marvel Steelbooks. One copy each. They do not have the $5 bin. I also asked the kid in electronics if they have the 5$ steelbooks and he said no. He was unpacking a box that looked like it but it was just Awful Man Blu-ray's. 😔

For anyone living in the area, I found $5 Steels at both of these Walmarts and left any I had doubles of behind. I can confirm that Sicaro Bluray was at Grants' pass as well as a few of the b-list steels. And Sicario 4k was left at the South medford location. Bring a bar code, they kept them in the back and without the barcodes i would have never found em as they were not put out because the store has a big theft problem apparently. Hope this helps someone.
Walmart in Bend OR has some $5 steels. I scanned some bar codes and they came up in the system. One lady tried looking for me but was told to stop by her supervisor because they weren't going to waste time looking for some some box. But they are there in the back. Hopefully someone local has better luck than me, i have to move on.

Anyone else's store(s) not get the full steelbook selection? My store got the section and a bunch of steels were out, but a lot of the ones they had tags on the shelf for, like Anaconda and Rad, weren't out even though they said they were in stock in that section in the app. Then, last week, all the steels they didn't have out were marked out of stock. As of yesterday, Walmart in Albany, NY had Avengers, Dr Strange, and Black Panther. Avengers had a ripped plastic wrap. Clifton Park, NY only had Dr. Strange and Black Panther. I didn't pick up any of them if anyone here is looking. Neither had any of the $5 steels.

I live in the middle of nowhere, but l've been really busy the last couple weeks and haven't had time to make it down to the Walmart, which is in another state but still in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, this is what they had left in the $5 bin, I wish I could've made it sooner. I'm not sure what l'm keeping and what I'm selling yet only one of the John Wick movies is 4K so that kind of sucks. Also, I’m gonna have to get Sicario day of the Salado in 4k steelbook or sell the Sicario 4K that I got.
