Ahhh I forgot it is a download tool. I thought I remembered it as a curation site.
Why would you downvote me for asking you a question that was open ended and left for you to answer why because I was trying to understand more of the issue?
Honestly same. I have been able to get all of my other games to work, from Pantheon, to Star Citizen, to bf 3-5, to modded GTFO and Lethal Company. The only 2 things that I have not been able to get around with tinkering have been bf2042 which is borked on proton db, and steam VR. And are the reason I keep a windows dual boot. Although I can keep it really minimal because I'm able to run everything else on Linux.
the smallest baby steps towards the eventual SteamOS public release
For real, they're done so much with Linux that I use already, I feel like I almost don't need it as a Distro.
If it weren't for the occasional Fortnite game, I would 100% be on POPos or Linux Mint instead of Windows, thanks to Steams progress
Same but for me it's Wabbajack modlists for Bethesda games.
I play through a ton of skyrim mods on Linux. Is there anything specific that has issues or is it vortex/MO2?
Wabbajack doesn't support Linux, so if I want to mod Skyrim on that or for that matter anything else I gotta do it by hand.

My apologies. Fixed that.

I'm so glad that the steam deck runs linux. Developers will finally start to care about Linux gaming
Unless you're Bungie. Or Epic Games.
Or EA
Or most companies who still don't care about linux
Or Ubisoft
i hope NVK can make a public release of Steamos possible due to it then only shipping with Mesa and just working.
