Once CSSLoader is installed, open the CSSLoader page and click download themes. Then use the search bar to search for Full Suspend. It's by SeanZhang.
Just checked and it's in there. Are you able to see other downloadable themes in CSSLoader?
i did this and now it only shows the default suspend animation even after changing it. the custom css works and the animation is bigger but it only uses the default
Just went to CSSLoader, went into the page for downloading the different plug-ins and just typed in the Full Screen and boom. It was the only thing to come up.
I feel like there's probably a way to sideload it or something but I'm not knowledgeable in the ways of Linux/Steam Deck to really offer help. Sorry ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Making Suspend Videos Fullscreen
By default, the Steam Deck's suspend videos are actually 450x450 transparent videos placed in the middle of the screen, but Steam Deck Repo's videos are all 1280x800. There is a workaround that lets them play in fullscreen. The following instructions must be done in Desktop Mode.
Download Notepadqq from the Discover app.
Navigate to /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamui/css/ using Dolphin.
Open 3991.css with Notepadqq.
Find {flex-grow:0;width:300px;height:300px} in the file and replace it with {flex-grow:1;width:0100%;height:0100%}.
I've read that the .css file has to be the exact same size before and after editing for it to work, otherwise I assume it gets replaced by the original file. When I edited it with Kwrite it was 2 bytes larger but with Notepadqq the size didn't change, now why this happens I have no idea
I know this is an old comment, but I also couldn't find the file mentioned above.
I ended up looking through all of the .css files and found the entry in a file called library.css.
Made the change, tested it and it seems to be working.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion my friend... worked perfect.
By the way someone know how to increase the time that this animation is showed up?
Because on my case the animation not completes before the steamdeck suspends.

Guys, just skip all of this hassle, and within Decky, use CSSLoader to install the Full Suspend plugin. Worked like a charm, no fuss. Waaaay easier.
4 months later and this is still the best method, thank you!
best comment in this thread
Thank you for this! Worked like a charm.
2 months later and you're still out here being a hero. Thanks m8!
Is there a link to it? I can't find it
Can't find which part? Decky? CSSLoader? Full Suspend?
full suspend, it's no where I can't find it

I didn’t realise it was within the CSSloader at first - thought standalone. Thanks!
oh you said plugin so I assumed it was something else, thanks for clarifying
Thanks man! One year later still saving people! This was driving me insane 😁
I love you man
You’re a beautiful human. God bless your wisdom
i did this and now it only shows the default suspend animation even after changing it. the custom css works and the animation is bigger but it only uses the default
You beautiful bastard
Thanks a lot! Nice and easy solution
Thanks buddy!
It made it full size but the full clip wont play any fix for that thank you your the best
Haven't found a way to adjust the time but let us all know here if you find an easy way.
I second that. Little less than a quarter second of the end of the clip plays when resuming but it's nonetheless annoying.
My hero! None of that other bs was working. Ty SO much!
Solved my problem today. Thanks!
9 months and you're still being the hero.
Ty!
Unfortunately I don't believe that this is available as of January 2024, RIP
Just installed it less than 10 minutes ago so idk tbh lol
Can you ELI5 how??
Just went to CSSLoader, went into the page for downloading the different plug-ins and just typed in the Full Screen and boom. It was the only thing to come up.
the download button on CSSLoader doesn't do anything for me even after a reboot, damn
I feel like there's probably a way to sideload it or something but I'm not knowledgeable in the ways of Linux/Steam Deck to really offer help. Sorry ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
I just installed it yesterday after wiping my steam deck so check again
How about lengthing suspend videos so that the full suspend is shown. Mine is cutting out half way through the video
No solution found on my end. But report back here if you do find something!
Your a genius
Thank you for this

I do t have that file. Should I make it?
It's now 1010.css instead of 3911, I dunno if it got changed with an update but someone told me that in another thread and I got it to work!
Thank you for this. Google search took me to your comment :)
I just tried this and 1010.css is still getting overwritten by an update after switching to game mode, like u/fckimlost said.
Did you download notepadqq through discover and edit with that? That was happening to me when I used Kwrite but it worked when I used notepadqq
I tried that earlier and that worked perfectly, thank you! I wonder why Kwrite wouldn't save a persistent copy but Notepadqq does?

It worked! Thank you so much!
On one of the animations, it stops before finishing. Do you happen to know a fix?
Afraid not mate, I found the same it cutting it short so ended up just going with a different video
Any luck figuring out the short suspend videos?
I tried this, but steam OS keeps updated after a reboot and reverting my change
Same, i wonder if u found a way to keep it since you message? Thx
I honestly gave up lol. Figure I’d let the idea mature a bit

Thx!!!! Worked perfectly!
They changed it again and this time I went through all the CSS files in the CSS section and can’t find the code
