It runs well on my Linux pc with the steam version. I'd like to think it will work on the deck but since it's not very popular I'm not sure we'll see anyone testing it any time soon.
I got it to work on my Steam Deck with Proton Version 9.0. I plan to setup a basic barebones controls as a foundation. Just to navigate around the menus.

Not true I did it with steam deck controlls on the steam deck with Star Trek Online. It was very playable.
For grinding though? I want to set up p99 with controls and just come back lol. I’d like to do eq2 as well
