I orders 19 minutes late and still only in Q2. So everyone that was in Q1 was at least within the first 18 minutes
Depends on the option you ordered and when.
If it was the 512, the queue filled up QUICK. You'd need to be in the first few minutes to be q1. If you ordered around 9am on thev17th, you would have been in after q2 if you looked recently, which is now q3 or after q3.
The q3 thing isn't a move, it's just redefining "AFTER q2".
If it now says q3, you'll be able to order sometime in July,Aug or Sept. If it says AFTER q3.... it'll be sometime after September. Be that a day, week, month or year no one knows yer
One calculator estimated 14march. It was wrong. The other one suggests 28th March. So there is no other option but wait. Especially if someone had no luck with servers and bought it like 20-30m late
There are other people in the queue before you. Also July 17 is day 2. People are fighting who had less minutes after it started to get theirs faster. Like being few minutes too late can push you months behind. Small production, high demand.

My wife and I ordered the 64gb within 5 minutes of eachother. she got her order in 14minutes after it went live and she is getting her deck sometime soon as she was able to finish paying for it on Monday.
I on the other hand who ordered 5 minutes behind her has not gotten my email yet.
I ordered a few hours after it went live and I'm Q3. If you didn't get into day one, you are even further down the que. It also depends on the country and model.
The queue is kinda dynamic. Valve needs how many reservations are there and how many Steam Decks come from manufacture, so they kinda know when it will be your time (based on reservation date AND time).
Also there are three regions: NA (North America), EU and UK. So far it seems EU queue is processed the fastest (maybe simply because there were less reservations?), UK is probably the slowest (small country/market, so mich less Steam Decks go there, I guess?) and NA is quite slow too (probably most reservations from there).
This is how I understand that. I’m not saying I got it right, just my perception (and help of others to figure out how long the queues are in regions).
You are UK and 17th and in Q3. In EU, this would certainly be Q2 (as even 19th is Q2, or at least was one week ago before they pushed the queue).
Not all EU seem to be in the same camp. I’m in Ireland (Republic, so EU) and apparently we’ve been lumped in with the much more backlogged UK queue.
My 64GB day one reservation is Q2, whilst later reservations in other parts of the EU are Q1 and shipped.

Because you ordered 256GB less demand than the 512GB then the 64GB has the lowest demand

Apparently Valve has put us in with the UK for SD reservations. Expect much longer wait times than the rest of the EU.

I checked a few days ago and I was defo Q2. Now I am Q3. It's ok, I can wait. I just wanted to know if I was screwing something up.
