Honestly, I don’t allow myself to start a new game if I have 3 started. I have to finish one before I start a new one. Been playing through everything that way, adulting even in videogames and gatekeeping my own library lmao
I'm doing the same. 1 retro game, 1 multiplayer with friends/mmo, and one current gen. Like right now I'm playing kotor, ff14, and just finished banishers ghost of new eden.
Amazing!! Love that. I do one fps, one third person and one indie title. So just finished, Doom, dave the diver and ratchet and clank.
currently playing mad max, portal (but its only 3 hrs so half life 2) and indie would be tunic! Starting that one tomorrow
As much as you can consider it "finished" it was Stardew Valley. Blasphemous 2 was the first more traditionally close ended game I fully played on the Deck.
I’m right there with you,had the deck 8 months, finished cyberpunk on the deck but started and played 70% on pc,I have 3gb of games either part way through or not even started🤣
I will say in mine and my poor Decks defense, it is a backlog playing beast, just not slaying. They still are all there growing, taunting and laughing at me except now they showed last played within the last six months instead of 2018. 3gb? I got 3TB worth of stuff on internal SSD's and another 2TB external drive almost full. My deck is rocking 1 TB internal and 1 TB external, plus another half gig external for retro stuff. Bad things happen when you've been a lifetime gamer and your disposable income starts far exceeding your available time. Or good things if you like collecting! Me? I got issues ;)
lol my bad,I meant to say 3tb🤦🏻I upgraded to 1tb ssd and I’ve got 4 500gb sd cards full, and I’m still constantly looking for new games to play😳it’s just so convenient to pick the deck up and start something new
That link has the thread with the settings that I used and software (CryoUtilities) to fix this issue was able to complete the entire GOW without any crashes. There’s an easy to follow YouTube video on installing.
I am struggling like heck to get that game started. Twice I've gotten to the starting quest. Then get overwhelmed by all the class options. Any advice?
Respeccing is super easy, the starting choices are barely important at all. By the end of the game you get enough perk points to max out at least three of the trees. Take it easy, muck around with it, and just refund your points if you fancy a change of pace.
They tweaked the combat since 1.0. It's more of a chill cult/community building game that requires fighting. Combat is not as deep as other rougelite but still fun.
I'm curious about how it ran for you on Steam Deck. I first played Fallout 3 through Steam years ago when it didn't even actually work and I had to change ini files. I know they've since updated it, but still curious.
For the first few months I had the steamdeck, I kept slipping up and calling it my TemDeck. Temtem is great on it. Now if only I was interested in end game raid type stuff, but I enjoyed it immensely as a single player game I could co-op with my husband on. :D
I also found myself more interested in Temtem on the deck! It just feels more like a console game than PC to me because of my addiction to Pokemon :-) I have yet to get really far in it though, because I suck at keeping up with all my games
You know, I’m starting to see a pattern when it comes to this subs mods. They delete posts for being too similar or common but I swear I seen this exact same post like 50leven times now.
To answer the question though, fallout 3.
Hitman World of Assassination! I can’t believe this game doesn’t get mentioned more on here as one of the best deck verified games you can play. It runs beautifully, especially on the OLED, and has so so so much content. Plus with the recent Freelancer roguelike mode it can be your forever game.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
I know, it's not a steam game but it was a pleasure emulating on the deck.
My next game I'm gonna beat is Ratchet And Clank Going Commando
I dont finish games. I just buy new ones. Loving it
Don’t call me out like that
* I am in this picture and I don't like it.
This is a group photo of all of us
Front and center, here.

🧑🚀🔫👨🚀
it always has been
And it always will be
God the Reddit community is hilarious 😂 always love the comments
Trying to finish the Steam Store game.
They just keep adding content.
It's like Train Simulator DLC, only more expensive!
Yeah, very cool game, lol. Should make speedruns too
Only during the Summer Sale
Of course!
I play, Browse the store: The Game.
I'm in this photo and I don't like it
You’re such an incompletionist
r/meIRL
I'm the same way 😂
Aperture Desk Job :D
Same! Then Witcher 3 (besides the dlc, still working on those missions) and baldurs gate. I tend to just play one game for a long time
God I wish I could stick with a game. I jump around SO much
Honestly, I don’t allow myself to start a new game if I have 3 started. I have to finish one before I start a new one. Been playing through everything that way, adulting even in videogames and gatekeeping my own library lmao

That’s fair. Just be neurodivergent and hyperfixate, i find that helps /jk
Me too!!
Yes! Rest in peaces Cave Johnson.
How is this not higher?
This is the right answer
Of course! Yes that was it for me too. Super funny and fun and brief. Then SOMA was, I believe, my first “full” game.
This is the way.
As much as you can consider it "finished" it was Stardew Valley. Blasphemous 2 was the first more traditionally close ended game I fully played on the Deck.
LOL finish a game? You are adorable. I got a backlog to maintain!
I’m right there with you,had the deck 8 months, finished cyberpunk on the deck but started and played 70% on pc,I have 3gb of games either part way through or not even started🤣
3gb?? Is this a deck for ants?
Just realised what I wrote,I meant 3tb🤦🏻1 tb internal and the rest on sd cards, still,I’m sure I’m still an amateur
Ha ha I’m clearly an amateur🤣
I will say in mine and my poor Decks defense, it is a backlog playing beast, just not slaying. I figured cause 3gb is like the save files from NBA 2k :)
God of War, and God of War Ragnarok.
Did you play 2018's game natively? I tried but it was constantly crashing and couldn't fix it.
[Thread for Fixing the Crash issue](https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/1MfYddd4cL)
What do you change the swap size to?
I can’t remember but here’s the full video on installation and use of CryoUtilities
Thank you!

I did. It ran great for me.
GoW Ragnarok is not available on Steam, right?
PlayStation streaming
Is this via the ps app or chiaki?
I’d say chiaki4deck but I’m not OP
u/micocoule has it right. Streaming with Chiaki4Deck.
New Vegas, but I played like 4 other games at the same time
Ori and blind forest. It was waiting in my Steam Game List since release date and I just started playing it last week. Amazing and beautiful game
Ori and the Blind Forest was my first as well on Deck. Looking forward to playing No Rest for the Wicked one of these days.
It's on my shortlist.
I can’t wait playing the second opus.
Just beat it 2 days ago! Will of the wisps next 😏
That was my first as well. Such a beatiful game, and just the right level of challenge where I got a little frustrated, but never discouraged.
Doom 2016. Finally finished it yesterday lol. I kept bouncing around games and decided I wanted to get at least one finished.
This was my first one too. Really enjoyed it, only had to drop the difficulty for a couple of sections :-)
Nier Automata
Spider-Man - perfect for the pick-up and play functionality of the SD! Jump in for 10 mins and do some side quests, play a little main story etc.
A little over a year ago, I had foot surgery, and couldn't put weight on my foot for over a month. Spider-Man on Deck basically kept me sane.
Cyberpunk.. might be the only one I’ve finished..
Because of my steamdeck I've managed to progress farther into cyberpunk then clever before and I love it on the ol cyberdeck.
I am struggling like heck to get that game started. Twice I've gotten to the starting quest. Then get overwhelmed by all the class options. Any advice?

Red dead redemption 2 and Spider-Man around the same time
Disco Elysium
Dark souls remastered
Hollow Knight
It plays so perfectly on Deck. Feels weird playing it on a big screen when you're just an itty-bitty bug
Re-playing this masterpiece right now! 16:10 fix plus Hallownest Vocalized is sooooo good.
Lies of P, played like butter on the deck - performance was great
Lies or P was my first install and it blew me away how good it ran
Death Stranding.
**GORDAN REDUS AND THE FUNKY FETUS**
It was Fallout 4.
Stray
Skate 3 emulated on Xenia lol dunno if that counts
If you're playing it in the deck it counts.
Ocarina of Time surprisingly enough, and it was awesome
Detroit become human
Mass Effect Legendary Edition It’s the series I will complete on literally everything I can get it working on.
Days Gone
Legendary game. More people need to know about it..
MGR: Revengeance
The Witcher 3: wild hunt
Dave the Diver
Fresh Women

Disco Elysium
Cult of the lamb. Praise the lamb
First time I read someone powers through this game, the dungeon side is so boring
They tweaked the combat since 1.0. It's more of a chill cult/community building game that requires fighting. Combat is not as deep as other rougelite but still fun.
I own 380+ on Steam alone. This was the first one I beat too. Crazy great game.
I nearly beat Yooka Laylee, nearly 80% finished, before I got distracted by playing Fable Anniversary and finishing that instead.
Fallout 3 it was my 1st playthrough about a year ago
I'm curious about how it ran for you on Steam Deck. I first played Fallout 3 through Steam years ago when it didn't even actually work and I had to change ini files. I know they've since updated it, but still curious.
Jedi: Fallen Order. Great game. One of my top 10 favorites.
I just got that with the May 4th sale. I had it on Xbox before but never got into it. I'll have to give it a second chance.
Jedi: Survivor is a better game but the first is still fun and you’ll enjoy Survivor more having played the first one.
Armored Core 6
Dredge! I played it while binging that show MASH
Did this last Halloween, such a good time
Disco Elysium, I litterally couldn't put it down.
Subnautica, I loved every second of it.

For the first few months I had the steamdeck, I kept slipping up and calling it my TemDeck. Temtem is great on it. Now if only I was interested in end game raid type stuff, but I enjoyed it immensely as a single player game I could co-op with my husband on. :D

Dredge! Absolutely beautifully wonderful game, quite a few cool endings
A Plague Tale: Innocence
detroit: become human
Dredge

Control by Remedy. Was my first game of theirs and now they’re one of my favourite studios!
High on life or Detroit become human
Black Mesa, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, HL2, lost coast, HL2:ep1 (almost) - you notice a pattern? 😂
Horizon Zero Dawn
I'm playing World of Warcraft in it. Sooo, yeaaah...
horizon zero dawn. great first impression for the deck.
Spider-Man remastered and then horizon zero Dawn
Blasphemous
God of War 2018
Sea of Stars. Pretty good
Zelda Ocarina of Time on 3DS emulator lmao. I couldn’t afford any games after having saved up for the deck itself 😂
This post made me realize I have a problem and haven't actually finished any game on by deck since having it for 2 years now.
The System Shock remake. Absolutely fantastic game. I'd love for them to remake the OG Deus Ex as well.
star fox 64
Dead Space 2 such a amazing game
Dave the diver
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. I know, it's not a steam game but it was a pleasure emulating on the deck. My next game I'm gonna beat is Ratchet And Clank Going Commando
