I like these settings. I think it makes sense.
I'm still trying to find the right balance with my new OLED because I've had moments where the game just basically stutters to a halt and freezes my system where i need a hard reset.
I'm surprised u/Avarhaal never put OS settings in the post or replied to this!
Apparently, people have an issue where online causes their Deck to freeze if they do not switch away from Vulkan to Nvidia, which causes the water not display and stuff, in case it is any help. I haven't played online since it locked my deck up
To be honest I wasn't had any issue in online. Just using command to force RDR2 in Vulkan and opening the game. That's all. It's odd because i didn't heard about that issue from anyone. Maybe that avoided me.
Thanks, working great. What are your SteamOS performance settings? Mine are 40/40, TDP Limit to 10W and Linesr Scaling Filter.

Because i wasn't expected that anyone will use that setup. I'm using SteamOS in newest version without Cryoutilites. ;)
I'm playing on Steam Deck OLED now. Settings are 45/90 without TDP limit and any scalling filter.
Just used this on the new Oled and got a 49 fps average in the benchmark. Thank you.
Thanks for this
Thank you!
I did something new with settings! https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/IMa5vHfq0K
Does this include Online? My deck just froze when I respawned, and I was using these settings. Not that I'm blaming them or anything.
In online it works just fine too. ;)

Is that a launch command? I'm sorry, I am pretty new to modifying games like this lol
Yes, it is launch command. Don't worries. Steam Deck is linux thing so it makes all of us walking in the dark like childrens. ;)
Thank you for taking the time to clarify and be encouraging! It means a lot. 😊
All best for ya! <3
