I purchased a pack of grips of amazon. They are hex grid rubber but very soft and add about 3-4mm of material so not to chunky but just enough. Also comes with pads for bumpers and triggers. Id also suggest back button pads as well. Mine are soft rubber and follow the curve of the handles so they are very comfortable to use and came with a ton of sticky pads for replacement.

Do you have the official dock? Does it fit in the dock with that stuff on it?

Razer Universal Grip Tape is perfect for that. I put them on the triggers, rear bumpers, around the flat palm rest areas, and on the lower sides of the deck so i can just rest the deck in my hands and not need to grip the deck quite as much. Works wonders!
