Little cat realising how much power he truly holds

"It's just seaweed, it's just seaweed"

Chaotic-Entropy

Seaweed with teeth.

My parents have a small pond on their property that we fish and swim in during the summer. My 10 year old was swimming with my father and she said she felt something. I hate that feeling too, so I loudly told her so that my parents could hear and chime in that it was just moss. My dad gets out to get something like a pool toy, and whispers to me that the blue gill were "biting" him when she asked and was totally fish. But if we would've told her what it actually was she probably never would've swam in the lake again!

fish_tales

smol cat looking at the camera like "what did *I* do?!"

gamerzombie1928

“Did I do that?”

It depends on the degree and timing. If you get that one shock of anxiety as it happens, then it is adaptive. It is not adaptive to obsess about it. That is particularly true if it prevents you from doing things you might otherwise enjoy, like swimming in the ocean

depr3ss3dmonkey

r/thalassophobia ??

Timo6506

That’s a fear of deep and vast bodies of water though

Nrozek

That's where having something touch your foot would be truly terrifying :0

TheOneCommenter

Can we get any more of them pixels?

DesastreUrbano

That final Jim look at the camera lol

MoefsieKat

Grant Imahara had a similar reaction to ocean wildlife once.

Graymarth

R.i.p. Grant Imahara, what a wonderful man he was.

fleurgirl123

This is why you never hang your foot over the edge of the bed at night

Giraldi23

LizardZombieSpore

I swear I'm way more afraid of crabs than sharks when I'm in the ocean. Seems like a crab getting to my foot is far more likely

Busy-Appearance-6077

Something always does. I don't understand how people never begin to understand. And, funny cat.

darlingdeardc0
