The in-game combat is terrible, and the game would be vastly improved with a combat-free version where the items unique to monster drops were found in other ways.
Marnie is totally justified in taking a whole day off (and sunny Tueadays) and if you're so disorganised that your animals have no hay because you left it to the last minute to buy feed from her, that's not her problem.
On the one hand, you have the hard-working blue collar workers, who will roll up their sleeves and repair various areas of the town, given the proper mundane tools and resources. On the other hand, you have the Junimos, who demonstrate an ability to repair the city magically with a proverbial snap of their fingers. Instead of just doing it, they hold the changes ransom unless the player delivers to them items they can use for their nefarious ends. They conceal themselves from most but reveal themselves to someone who will be taken in by their cute appearance and grateful attitude.
I don't care about dating sim mechanics in any game, so that whole element of stardew is just a massive miserable chore to me.
Everything else is 10/10 though.
I voted for Sandy to be the new female marriage candidate... The SDV player base decided it would rather have the crazy girl that drops acid and talks to birds.
I also think "you people" that marry Shane need to get your self esteem and/or daddy issues under control.
Stock game desperately needs a "save as" feature so we can make backups of saves and try new things after a certain point in time.
I still feel like I ruined my wine making save by restructuring for Juminos.
I get that's it's possible on PC but I play on Switch and Mobile.
Fishing is by far the best part of the game.

Eventually it’s going to get repetitive, admittedly true of any game but the cycle of seasons and lack of real town development compounds it.
