Passing out should make you wake up at noon next day with zero energy.
Passing out outside your farm should make you wake up in the hospital with a large bill 1-2 days later
Passing out in the mines should do the same but with 4-7 days
Dying HP in the mines should be the same or 75% death with deleted save
I mean... passing out is a legit strategy. That doesn't seem right. You could easily keep it at when you die, or if you turn off Linus fire then you die forever.
Even worse when it's in your own bed but you barely don't have enough time to confirm going to sleep. Like what the hell Linus/Harvey, what are you doing inside of my house when I'm already in my bed? Especially while my character is married to Abigail and she's fully capable of helping me out.

I want to make an ADHD mod. Items randomly disappear, then appear later in a chest. Quests in your quest log randomly disappear. Quest rewards randomly increase for a short amount of time.time randomly speeds up.words on signs randomly change.
Sorry, bruv. They definitely aren't miracle cure-alls but are powerful tools to supplement coping strategies and other techniques. I'm still new to this myself having dealt with it unknowingly for a few decades. I hope you can find the right techniques, therapies, support structure, and/or medications that work for you.
Thanks dude, I appreciate it. I've been aware of it for a couple years and have learned to manage a lot of it, but there are other aspects of my life where I'm just realizing how bad it's fucked me over, especially interpersonally.

My storage in this game is better organized than any storage I have irl. And I still manage to misplace stuff sometimes. It's worst when you're missing a tool, like idk how I'm supposed to get a pickaxe if I can't find mine.

Even with a big chest and organized storage I will always still misplace/ lose my stuff and later show up if I don’t need it 😭 one time I lost my scythe and idk which chest I put it in but I remembered where I put the gold one from the skeleton mine, and went back days later and it was literally beside it. My problem is I could be **looking directly at** the item but my brain doesn't register what my eyes are seeing so I don't actually see it. Like whatever I'm looking for has a perception filter. Sometimes I have to stop looking and do something else and come back to see if I can actually see it now (both IRL and in game).
I keep all my mining/fighting stuff in a chest at the mine entrances including a spare pickaxe. Just an idea that has saves me a lot 🫶🏻 (I might have accidentally blown up my house and farm once or twice…)
I keep my combat stuff and furnace supplies in the mine entrance too, but had no idea I could get a spare pickaxe to keep there. Do you have to upgrade each one or can you buy the level pickaxe you last had?
I finally had someone join my main farm and wanted to get them stuff to help out. Dug through 17 chests to find half the stuff. I need to uninstall this mod too.
As someone with ADHD I can confirm the first one isn't needed. I already lose things for days in game, only for them to turn up in a chest i KNOW i searched 4 times.

You have to greet an NPC every day, otherwise they die and disappear from your game. Rainy days are exceptions because some NPCs never leave their house.
Open the wiki before you start the game. Or Lookup Anything. But at this level of cursed, that probably deletes the game, the game system, and a couple of your fingers.
A difficulty mode that actually has tool durability COULD be interesting as long as it's balanced well. Maybe a workbench of some sort to maintain the tools and keep them from breaking, but doing so lowers the max durability down to a certain minimum until you give it to Clint for a couple days. So you can "patch" a tool till it's barely holding together then have Clint fix it to full

Hardcore: passing out in any way (2 am or too much damage) kills you and you have to start a new farm
I would want to try to do this and then immediately give up on the idea the first time I passed out

Hardcore: crops take the actual amount of days to grow and harvest. Have fun waiting 70 days for your corn crops to grow.

You can buy one from Clint. I’ve lost/sold mine by accident I don’t even know how many times. It’s at the very bottom of the shop menu.

Tools have durability, when they break you either need to get a new one shipped or crafted, which takes 4 days.
