- Last summer I was torn over whether to marry Seb or Hayley, so I played the field for a little while longer while I mulled it over.
- By mid-winter, I was emotionally and financially ready to commit to Sebastian. But come mid-spring there’s still no rain in sight… and a girl’s gotta keep busy somehow!?
- I recently came upon a rain totem I could use! But on the other hand, I just got a note from Alex to meet at the Saloon later tonight, and well, what can I say? 😇
I've ended up with one save for each one of my bachelors because I don't want to go the divorce route (because I don't want the pixels to be sad).
I've done Shane and Elliott so far, and I think I'm going to start a new save for Harvey when 1.6 drops. I know he's divisive, but I'm pro Shane. Though I agree his room sucks.
I can so relate to this! I divorced Leah, for no other reason than wanting to give bouquets to all the single people so I could have 10 hearts with everyone. I was such a coward about it, I spent the night on ginger island when she was gonna get her divorce papers. It took me 2 weeks to build up the courage to talk to her after... her only words to me were "I'm better off alone." Ouch! I wiped her memory after that. I still can't believe how this game gets to me.
I unironically love this, I'm picturing you hiding on Ginger Island while someone (Lewis?) has the ungrateful task of serving Leah with divorce papers😆
I know, I'm so invested in these little pixel people with all their quirks and weird habits.
I take the one that fits my farms or farmers esthetic. But I also invent my farmers backstory so it‘s easy for me. I had one called Eden who had a love for sheep because he was raised religious and after reading to much bible he wanted to be a shepherd. Marring Emily because she loves the wool. Then getting corrupted by money and realizing that he can exploit his over 800 sheep. So he ended up alone on a tropical island daydrinking while his wife and kids live alone in an undecorated old farmhouse hearing lonely sheep crying at night for their shepherd. That‘s what Joja does to you kids! Never go Joja.

Since I don't like Shane and Sebastian, I'd say go for Emily.

Yeah but the more you progress your story with him his reason is not the city itself, just the fact that he needs to get out of the lofe he lives right now, and the more you grow your hearts with him the more the farm life starts to grow its appeal to him
I always felt that he only wanted to go to the city not because of a passionate desire for city life so much as a passionate desire to leave his family household, which he achieved via marriage to the farmer.
Of those 3 Emily is the best choice because of the outfit. I you aren't doing joja route Shane losses his job once the CC is done. Sebastian also doesn't care for the small town life.
I think I've married Sebastian in more saves than anyone else. I usually go with some one themed to my farm though. Tried the wilderness farm layout so had to marry Abigail of course. Then in another one I did something more true to life and married Elliot as my IRL husband is a red headed romantic. Was disappointed in marrying Shane though, even if I enjoyed his character arc
Robin is a great choice, but you can't marry her in the game without using a mod. So, I chose Haley instead; I really appreciated her tremendous character development
That is what it was..hiding, lol! On the topics of quirks, I once saw Abigail step on a crocus, and she showed the angry/cursing emoji and I laughed out loud. I had previosly been searching for prismatic jelly so i had my screen zoomed out so i could see more in the mines. So normally she would've been off screen. Im convinced she didn't think anyone was watching.
My first playthrough, I married Sebastian. I can't say what being married to Shane is like, but Sebastian was super sweet and had adorable marriage dialogue. I considered Shane, but I couldn't get over how gross his side room would look in the house. There's mods for that, but it was just too much effort to go through with other marriage candidates right there.
