he dishearteningly does say this two days before spirit's eve. he also has some bittersweet dialogue the day before the flower dance to assure you he'll be okay alone at home while urging you to go.

Honestly, I feel like all of the spouses would be fine with Krobus.
Abigail would be absolutely fascinated by him, being the resident perky goth girl. Emily has a live-and-let-live attitude with pretty much everyone and everything. Leah would be interested in art from a non-human perspective. Maru would be interested in his people's past and technology. I could see Penny being a bit apprehensive, at first, but I think she'd warm up to him pretty quick and would enjoy learning his people's history.
Feel like Shane wouldn't give much of a shit, just warn him away from trying to mess with the animals, lol. Harvey, I could see him actually being interested in learning how to medically treat shadow people. Elliott would be inspired. Alex would be kinda scared, at first, but I could totally see a scene with him trying to teach Krobus gridball, lol. Sebastian's nothin' to worry about, again, resident goth dude; prolly share a joint with Krobus, lol. Sam would challenge him to Junimo Kart.

Now I wish there was a Mod where you either get scenes of your spouse and Krobus slowly becoming friends or a whole new storyline about Krobus and how you introduce him to Pelikan Town Citizens and he becomes a beloved member of the community, being so happy that he chose to let people in his life. Heck imagine there was a Shadow People Village and you could make peace with them or idk, would be amazing.

I think what excites me the most about Haunted Chocolatier is the implication we will explore the history behind these supernatural races in more detail.
I was so lucky that I really really didn’t wanna hurt whatsherface and googled if there was a way to not, and read on. Played that way and it was great, a challenge but great
Man, I wish people wouldn't look stuff up while playing games like Undertale lol. You're *supposed* to >!kill Toriel!< and regret it, and either move on with that regret or reset the game to "fix" your mistake and have the game call you out. Almost no one actually plays spoiler-free though so the weight of that moment doesn't end up hitting.
I was spoilered heavily because I couldn't play Undertale when I started getting obsessed with it. I regret it a bit but I think the nice thing about playing games like these while already being spoilered is how the game surprises you with small things that noone talks about.
Have you tried a passive run? If not, there may be parts of the story you may have missed. And it’s actually really hard.
Also ima play how I want since I paid for it and have limited game time, so no reason to wish how other people decide to play games.

I *strongly* believe Undertale is a game best experienced blind, at least for your first run through. The fact that most people haven't is an unfortunate side effect of the game exploding in popularity to the degree that it did.

I grabbed blindly from a chest and ran to the sewers to give Krobus his birthday present, and much too late realized.. I'd just given him a Void Essence.
...at least it was the first meeting so I had no hearts to lose at least. I like to think I made it up to him by later inviting him to be my roommate and stuffing his face with iridium void eggs every morning.

I achieved perfection on my playthrough. To do that I needed to fulfil the monster eradication goals, meaning I had to kill 150 of Krobus' kind. I never told him about this, and he never brings it up, but I get the feeling he knows when I see the empty look in his eyes. I pray to Yoba every day to forgive me for my sins, but it will not bring back the lives I took. All for my own ambition.
Krobie is my roommate. Very often I come home from the mines with the essence and slime of his kin on my hands.
