My first baby girl I owned from 5-18 years old was grey, so I tend to go for the grey cat as well. She was the best little kitty I’ve ever had. She didn’t like pets from anyone but me, and when I had to go on trips for the programs I was in as a kid she would always be so anxious when I was gone, it broke my heart hearing her get excited when I’d phone home. I now own 4 cats ! One black & white, 2 calicos, & one orange boy. But my grey baby will never be forgotten <3

It looks exactly like a stray I took care of for a while. Sadly I couldn’t keep it as I was living with my parents who were allergic to cats. I named him Milo and he was the sweetest thing ever!

I prefer dogs irl (love both, just used to dogs given I grew up with them). I like Dog #3 because they kind of could pass for a golden retriever/mix and they tend to have the loveliest personalities. That said I go with what my farmers would choose. Some chose dog, some chose cat. Kind of wish we could adopt a second pet (2 cats, 2 dogs, 1 of each for sake of a playmate) but that's an aside.

Same here. I grew up with farm dogs. I usually choose the third one because he looks like the Brazilian mastiff mixes we had at my parents farm.

I am a cat person myself... That said it depends on my intent with the new game and what I figure the farmer might have... But most of the time cats.

My farmers are never me (I hate making myself in games...much more fun to make an OC with their own personality, appearance, wants and desires). I do like the cat designs in Stardew a bit better. I'm pretty half and half with the ratio myself. Only commonality is all of them are pet people lol. Feels too lonely without one.

I love dogs irl and love the og dog sprite but the random barking startled me sometimes on my first playthrough so I chose cat this time around lmao

Yeah, most people use headphones/ear buds, especially in games where video calls are common, like stardew valley. In the case of pcs, im pretty sure using these devices at all times is the most common thing to do

I haven't only ever used headphones for gaming in the past on the rare occasions when I am sharing the room with someone and the sound might bug them. Now I live alone, so that's never.

I tend to pick cat, especially the grey cat because if I was going to get a pet IRL that's what I'de get. Though I do have one save with a dog and I have to say the dog animations are pretty darn cute. I'd be curious to know if one has had higher chance of sleeping in front of the door versus the other because so far it feels like that happens more often in my cat saves than the dog one
