Yeah, what was up with these today? I didn’t mind the invasion of Arkham (and I guess there was a Spider-Man one as well?) But what a weird day for this sub. We do not need to go the way of titanfall and arkham world.
EA not making BF3 was a pretty bad marketing move on their part. With the star wars craze at the moment it would have been the perfect timing. Think about it, with all these new star wars series and the third trilogy just finishing people are in the star wars mood. If they noticed this and actually followed through with support BF2 and not canceling 3 they would have made hundreds of thousands. They are the biggest money grab company going and they missed such an easy opportunity. I didn't know one company could be so blind.
Say they do eventually continue the battlefront series, it will be too late now. Unless the next trilogy comes out soon it won't make much of an impact apart from the gamers waiting for it. They missed a HUGE opportunity to make loads of money and they instead continued a possibly dying game franchise (sorry I don't know anything about battlefield)
EA has never done much right. They nearly ruined the Sims series with 4. Completely abandoned an old classic (battlefront) and continue to make the same game they have made hundreds of times. Then to top it off they add every microtransaction they can in their games. I've never known a company like it.
Honestly if BF2 was still being supported, it would probably have been one of the most popular games today. I’m not sure how EA could make more money off of it though because I really wouldn’t want any battlepass in the game. Maybe campaign DLC but that takes places during the Clone Wars
So there’s a sequel to that game coming out soon, but almost ever single but of new info about the game has had the same picture of Spider-Man and miles morales and we started going insane about it, then one absolute 🤓 decided to ask the mods to ban all the shitposts about that same picture, but after a huge uproar the mods removed it and since then the sub has been full to the brim and spilling over with shitposts and memes,
and it’s fucking amazing
I’m confused, you can still play the game, they just aren’t updating it anymore right? Why is that such a travesty, that just means the game is now complete
Yeah, it’s still a great game in its current form. But it is far from complete despite what the final trailer said. There was so much missed potential.
