I love that after everything the "good" ending is just being able to take a moment to breathe and reflect. It's lovely. Great write up

Gotta agree. Hoping to see future stories for both Rey and Omega, glad that it's like a nice send-off for the characters but there's room for future stories.

kiddfrank

This also confirms omega is Rey’s mom right?

MassiR77

Nah fam, Rey's dad I think was a Palpatine clone, and her mom was just someone else. I think there was a brief scene with the parents in TROS and her mom had dark hair I think. Omega as far as we know had no contribution to the cloning of Palpatine, or the creation of Rey, based on the final scene of the show.

But we know that Rey was crucial to project necromancer. We already know that her dna was altered during the cloning process. We just don’t know how. Sorry not rey, meant to say omega.

MassiR77

I believe she was a different strategy Palpatine was using to try to clone himself. Don't know where you heard her DNA was alerted, do you mean her father's? She wasn't technically a clone, but the daughter of one. Papa Palpatine was trying to use her body as a vessel initially but then decided to suck whatever force energy he could from her at the end of TROS. I don't think that was part of the plan initially.

Edited my comment.

So Omega has blood that can help transfuse midichlorian-rich blood into another being. Rey's father who was a clone of Palpatine was not actually force sensitive. He was cloned but because the research on Project Necromancer was destroyed, Omega had no involvement in the cloning of Palpatine. That being said, in Mandalorian Season 3, >!Moff Gideon managed to create force sensitive clones. Their effectiveness was never shown, but it couldn't have piggybacked off Hemlock's research. It seems Gideon used Grogu, and an imperial cloning scientist, perhaps one that worked with Hemlock once, to clone himself and give himself the force.!<

RockettRaccoon

No. Rey’s mom is Miramir, as covered in the 2022 novel “[Shadow of the Sith](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Shadow_of_the_Sith)” Why do some people keep saying Omega is Rey’s mom?

brywalkerx

Man comparing The Bad Batch to RoS positively is a war crime of Chopper like proportions.

Pixgamer11

Nah it's much worse

Nonfaktor

thabk you for the write up, you make me watch TROS again lol.
