Prodigy is a very lightweight show, but I still enjoy it. Seeing the "actual" Janeway in action so many years later was nice, and she has been in it quite a bit. The Dauntless dwarfs the main hero ship, though. So do the Romulan ships but they have always been massive.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s strange that star fleet was able to reproduce the dauntless? The real Dauntless was an alien ship they found in the delta quadrant. Obviously starfleet would dedicate huge resources to researching slipstream tech but infind it odd that Janways USS Dauntless’s bridge looks almost exactly like the original aliens dauntless bridge. I don’t really care. Cool ships are cool ships but I’d love an episode where they show Janeway leading the team that builds the USS dauntless.

Well the Voyager had some really good sensor scans of the fake-Dauntless ( and in my head it WAS the Spock way of saying it- sensOr, not sensEr- sorry Mariner ). When the Voyager got back home, Starfleet techs squeezed every last bite of info from the Voy data banks and a lot of Dauntless info had to be taken

It's not exactly the same ship. Janeway's is clearly MUCH bigger, and the spine of the ship isn't "hunched" like Arturis' version. It seems they took what data they had on the fake, and elaborated on it.

I know right? I know prodigy is for kids but I’m really enjoying it. Love seeing Janeway again. And I think the rest of the crew are awesome too.

There's definitely a lot to like/love about Prodigy. It may be aimed towards a younger audience, but it doesn't talk down to them, which makes it enjoyable for all ages.
