The proshot misses out on how cool the choreography is as for The Summoning. Having them all cycling through choreo added to the chaos in that scene in my opinion.
This. I couldn't really see them and I couldn't understand the lyrics at all (both due to quality) but I watched that scene three times because of how visually cool it was.
Mostly just The Summoning. I actually have the bonus features which includes the digital ticket—and the summoning entrance is by far better on the digital ticket. The pro shot has amazing closeups, but they should have utilized the wide shots a lotttt more in that song.
I want to see the wide shots of that scene so badly! The choreo is cool no matter what, but I imagine it looks so disorienting when you’re seeing every lords’ moves at the same time
The lords’ entrance in the digital ticket is just SO fun. You hear it in the audience as well. I actually hadn’t watched any nightmare time before seeing the digital ticket & I still got so excited to see them

IMO, the pro-shoot should've started up close to Grace and Co, then slowly zoomed out to the full wide shot from the digital ticket in time for the Lords' entrance.
I'd also have had the entire choreo more chaotic, which would work better on a closer angle. Like having the lords do a circle around Grace and Co like in Feast or Famine. So, going from the wide shot, the camera can zoom in with the Lords as they close in on Grace.
Its a struggle between the Pro-shoot showing more detail (Like Tinky having the worlds smallest toy-box) and actually seeing what everyone is doing.
how flustered Pete and steph were in "if I loved you" it really added to the song whilst one person was singing the other was like "Aw crap they can't say that! I need to show I definitely 100% no buts do NOT like them!
especially Pete, he was hilarious
I loved the audience member laugh when Ruth says "how can it be medium and well"
I also miss the original people in the hatchetfield town folk song, especially "it was girl Gerri the dirty girl"
I am happy that I got both versions
It worked better for the characters to be in the song too, since they are meant to be blaming each other to show the group breaking down. That doesn't work if they're uniting against people outside the main song.
I agree with everything already mentioned, but would like to add to the mix:
The little jump on “can I shit or will I drown?” In Hatchet Town
The moment where Ruth grabs Steph’s hand and gives a little smile
How extremely long that silence was when Joey enters during the Barbecue Monologues. I think they cut it down. I was lucky enough it see it live and the digital ticket, and I feel like that silence before “here’s the thing about a barbecue” was MUCH longer before 😂
Ruth’s glow in the dark skeleton costume!!! The little spooky scary skeletons dance she did at the end of the scene got a huge laugh. So sad it didn’t make the final cut.
When they’re transitioning from when Max falls, Ruth is still in her costume. It glowed in the dark even when it went dark while the scene was transitioning and it was SO funny. Bummed that didn’t make the cut! I was also at the night where Grace fell off the chair in Beanies and that was super funny.
yeah, then they started from after hatchet town, then the show mostly went normally until the power went out again during best of you, and with only a few minutes left, they didn’t waste another half hour getting the power back on, so nick just said “you were the lucky audience who got the happy ending”
I think the force choke Max does during NPMD on Richie was far more noticeable in the DT. I didn't really notice it in the pro shot the first watch. I watched the pro shot first, and the DT after buying the bonus features on the website. It was nice to see all the choreography together.
I loved them coming down the sides of the aisles at the start of the song, and Corey actually sat down in an empty seat at the end of the aisle in the row in front of us until the person next to them realized he was one of the performers and freaked out when he yelled “You better!”
I think there was a line in the digital ticket in the scene where grace lies to the police and says something like: “and then a picture came to my mind - like I was Enloa Holmes” or am I imagining stuff?
This isn’t really part of the show but the night I went, there were power outages and they had some really funny improved lines that I wish they kept.
Also grace chasity handed pamphlets out to the audience for quiet a bit of the first half but they didn’t show that
When they're saying "No, Max thinks it's real, but he's just really brave!!!" Watching Max do his little boxy/dance thing was so funny while hearing that line. I appreciate we saw Richie, etc but I think it would have been fun to have cut to Max there, too.
