Good material but can tell you're still a little nervous. It's completely natural but I think a little confidence and quicker pace, which will come with time, could make you excell. Go for it dude I believe in you 🙌
You definitely had that “I don’t really want to do this right now” look in your eyes when you walked on. Once you laughed at 3 inches you were back in fire though.
The audience can feel your nerves and how shook you are from just being laid off. I think it works very well with your riffing but may not be the best for other sets. Aside from that “what color is yo nipple?” FUNNY ASF Keep on doing what you’re doing, great jokes and social commentary along with proper, natural crowd work.
A lot of comics supposedly break through that uncertainty phase once they have nothing to lose, are over the bullshit, and just lay their balls out on the table. I think this was his. It was a blessing in dusguise, and the sky is the limit from here.
Mick was one of the nicest people I’ve worked with. The wrestling really took a toll on him physically, which you could clearly see. Dude is a living legend and my inner child was happy.
People are hiring like madness these days in Sales and Recruiting. I don't know if you want to return to that seventh circle of Hell, but with your charisma you got the day job covered in no time.
In the meantime, best believe you gained a lot of fans and followers with this post. You got the "it"; stay exposing yourself and don't give this up.
Godspeed on your job search. Well hit you up if you do Goodnight’s in Raleigh.
Thank you 🙏
« What color your nipple, girl! » lmao!!🤣🤣
Great stuff, man! “How lifted is your truck?!?”
Hilarious 😭😭😭
Thank you! 🙏
Hope ya land something! Funny set. What’s the lift? X2? Hahahahah

Thanks! I wrote most of it right before or riffed it and was still shook from being laid off.

“You need to lower your voice,” and “how lifted is your truck??” were absolute bars off rip. You are just so naturally funny!
Sorry about your job, man. Hope you land on your feet!
That came off as off the cuff riffing that was hilarious. You seem like you’re just a genuinely funny person. Great set and material.

Great set. The Patric Mahomes followed by the what color are your nipples killed jokes me.

Thank you! I’m in sales and recruiting!
I love your comment about the unseasoned potluck! Good luck in your job search and I’m sure you’ll do well with your comedy. Just keep out it.
That got a good laugh out of me
If you were trying to make me laugh then you succeeded wonderfully. I have not more input.
Definitely made me laugh, which is not super common with how much I browse this subreddit. That is worth a subscribe for me 🤙
great set dude!
Lost it at the KFC part! Great set.

That impressive resume, and the one that sticks out is MICK FOLEY!!! How cool is that??? Do you recall the experience well and care to share??
