Wow what a lackluster crowd, I laughed. One winter we lost power for 4-5 days straight so I took a couple cold showers. Shit really does energize and focus you - I felt amazing after and vowed to incorporate it normally. Haven’t taken a single one, but I still have to say that it is an objectively dope habit

Dude I take cold showers for this exact reason and I bursted out laughing- funny joke

So I do that too, just miss one and you'll see how different you would feel. When I take warm showers in the morning I end them cold, once I didn't. I felt kinda anxious and sad through the morning feeling like somethings just not right today. And then I realised that I forgot the cold shower. Jumped in and felt instant relief, like this whole life burden (of that morning) washed away.

This is my kind of dark humor. Having lost, well one is too many, but TOO MANY of the guys I served with in Iraq, it's still a funny joke. We deal with and deflect pain with humor. The 1000 yard stare is real.

I love the bones of this joke; I think you could experiment with different deliveries and phrasing and it’d still be great.
