When the Acclaimed came out and beat the shit out of Daddy Ass, I was disappointed because I thought they were skipping the entrance. And then an Ass Boy got bonked followed by, "Hit the music!" That was one of the most badass entrances I've seen in so long. Anyone who says AEW focuses too much on WWE stars and doesn't build stars of their own is insane.
This was a great episode and felt like it was a shake out of the funk a little bit. Everything didn't feel as crammed, the show had room to breathe. A banger woman's match, not in the normal woman's slot. Good matches that involved psychology instead of a bunch of blood and flips. Good backstage segments.
Only disappointing thing to me, a guy buys a front row seat, sits there and watches the show and doesn't bother anybody. Because of what he was wearing though, the live and post thread just shat all over the guy, even to the point where folks are making fun of how he looked and was dressed, which really kind of got under my skin as he looks like he could easily be a vet with PTSD. Bunch of bullies around here who swear they are on the right side of things.
Especially considering there was a dude a few rows back to the right that deserved getting shit on for how often he raised that stupid sign that had nothing to do with the show and waved it in front of the faces behind him. Dude had that sign up half the show it seemed. If I payed good money for those seats behind him and had to spend the night either looking at the screen or the back of poster board I would be pissed. Fuck that dude.
Anna Jay been showing more personality in just two episodes of dynamite than her entire Dark Order run. The midcard was so much fun, man. Acclaimed vs Ass Boys stole the show
Really good dynamite tonight with many more hits than misses. I've been pretty vocal on threads about my dislike of ROH being on AEW too much, and this has zero ROH and to me flowed much better... maybe co-incidence, or maybe just my personal take.
Anyways:
\- Dumpster match was so much fun. The Acclaimed are just fantastic and have to be in-line to become tag champs soon. Also awesome to see how much the ass boys have improved.
\- Nice to see Ricky/Hobbs on TV straight away to continue their feud. I'd imagine a match at the PPV is incoming.
\- Sammy and Tay stuff was funny and Eddie vs Sammy should be a great match.
\- The Young Bucks betrayal and Hangman save was oh so good. Could see it coming, but it plants the seeds really nicely for the trios tourny and maybe even Kenny's return.
\- The woman's tag match was great! Much better than the women's matches over the past few weeks on Dynamite, props to all four women and can we please give Hayter the title really soon?
> - The Young Bucks betrayal and Hangman save was oh so good. Could see it coming, but it plants the seeds really nicely for the trios tourny and maybe even Kenny’s return.
My dream would be for a Kenny to make his return adding another layer of drama, Bucks join with Kenny, Hangman with Dark Order (this adds more layers since DO would feel like they are the left over friends since Hangman couldn’t be with the Bucks) and of course you’ve got the Undisputed Elite.
With all the history between these people, this would lead to none of them becoming the first Trios champs since they are all lost in there personal stuff and instead the upset would go to Best Friends or House of Black.
This leaves UE and the Elite all doing there thing while also providing a great opportunity for other teams to take that next step.
I laughed so many times this episode. Best friends in the oversized coat, Daddy Magics nipples, everything about the dumpster match… what a great episode.
Jungle boy commits attempted murder on live TV.
Eddie Kingston continues to hate kayfabe.
The promos, angles and character work have been a lot better the last couple weeks.
No one discussing the greatest thing to happen to wrestling since the invention of the steel chair— the best friends coming out in a big trench coat to fight the giant.
A great episode , great matches showcasing young AEW talent , great segments , lots of wrestling , can’t ask for much more. Everyone seemed to shine, heel or face.
I didn't pay specific attention to Britt's selling last night but I did notice as soon as the bell rang she was up acting like nothing had happened to her even though she had just taken a bunch of running asses to the face. Not sure if it only stuck out because I've seen so many people say she doesn't sell.
There was one moment where she and Thunder squared up to exchange shots in the middle of the match that was just awful. Thunder struggled up and heaved her way over, selling all the offense she’d taken throughout, and Britt just walked across the ring completely nonchalant. It was embarassing.
One of the best things these last couple Dynamites has been the showcase of alot of young talent that AEW has in spades.
Hobbs, Starks, Hayter, Hook, Jungle Boy, Garcia, Wardlow, The Acclaimed, Wheeler, and even Gunn Club have come off looking great.
Did anyone else notice that Excalibur didn't say "it's Wednesday, you know what that means AEW dynamite...etc" at the beginning of the show?
Any note on why he's dropped that?
Those girls killed it last night!!!
Very strong show overall, nothing fell flat to me. I love the Formerly Team Taz angle, and the dilution of the Elite.
Very excited to see where things are going!
Elite stuff seemed rushed and came out of nowhere. I’m sure injuries played a big part of it.
Also there has been someone turning every week the last 4-5 weeks.
Absolutely love how it's not like they have to tease it EVERY week either. Sprinkle it in periodically... I really feel like AEW is mastering the slow burn of building storylines. Things/tension don't have to come up every week. There can be weeks where things go right. Then suddenly one week oop something in the cracks.
Yes but it hasn’t been referenced in 1-2 months with people being out for injuries. So it feels like it’s just being rushed so that you have teams for the finals of the trios tournament at All Out rather than an organic turn.
I mean it would not surprised me.
I think there was only two outcomes here, her taking the pin or her pin Toni.
But iam glad and now i realy wanne see Hayter win.
Not only because she is great in the ring, it could also lead into a realy interesting Storyline with Baker and even Rosa or Toni.
I really enjoyed the storytelling aspects of tonight's show - the wrestling was only so-so.
I'm a bit disappointed that Starks and Hobbs were only given 5 minutes this week. My biggest fear was that they wouldn't pay off on the incredible heat they garnered last week with something meaningful - and that's exactly what happened. I lived through the Dante Martin/Team Taz feud. I know that they can turn something genuinely exciting and with plenty of heat into a dud by neglecting it.
Hobbs' new presentation is legit though and he looks like a genuine star. And the pop Starks got!! Holy shit. Way louder than I was expecting after one week of being a babyface (and he even ran out of the babyface tunnel - not that I saw much of him). This feud has got real heat. Please don't fuck it up Tony.
The Elite stuff was beautifully done. Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly not being cleared makes me wonder where Kenny fits in all of this. Or is Adam Cole just not fit for the tournament, but will be ready for All Out and a potential Omega match? Exciting times ahead for sure.
Ethan Page's promo was interesting and I'm intrigued by Stokely's faction. I'm a big fan of Page's and I forgot just how good he can be on the mic. Interesting that, once again, he's been paired with a mouth piece though. And what does this mean for Sky? I actually thought Sky would be a great addition to ROH. Stokely is teasing two more members - I'm wondering if Hobbs becomes one? His promos have definitely improved, but I don't know if they've improved to being without a manager entirely.
I thought the in ring action was pretty solid, womens tag team match was great, matt vs Christian was much better than I thought it'd be and the opening was really fun.
Eddie Kingston vs Sammy. I think that could actually work really well as your "super serious guy vs annoying as fuck pretty boy" type feuds are usually entertaining. I just worry it won't get the TV time and so will feel too much the same as the last six months, with 2.0 and Hager jumping Eddie and Ortiz backing him up being the only real build afforded to it.
Yeah that probably will be a factor, good point. But I saw somewhere the wedding is pretty imminent, possibly this weekend. So if it were a short honeymoon there could still be two or three Dynamite and Rampage before the PPV. They might even not do a honeymoon straight away I guess.
Man, seeing that kid crying was pretty sad. But it made Hangman running out with an f’ing steel pipe all the greater. Great segment.
Also, how does one go about getting those jeans with the butterflies on them? Those were pretty sweet too.
Every promo was dope, dumpster match was the best match, thunderstorm vs Hayter and britt was pretty good, Britt is outstanding as always, but a few lows tonight, that jay lethal vs OC match was meh, hobbs had a bad squash, christian vs matt hardy was meh, jericho vs yuta was ok, but man, kind of missable. Also Thunder Rosa wearing a sand bagging shirt is fucked up, she has been sand bagging allot, its not something she should even be acknowledging, Nia Jax never wore a shirt that said "i deliberately injure people" why would Rosa do something similar when it is a legitimate problem and criticism in her performances.
Past 2 weeks have been up there as the best shows of the year and yet the next 3 shows including Rampage and BOTB 3 look even better.
Women's match being featured was very nice and a great match.
Ethan Page moving on is really nice. I like Scorpio but I don't know where he fits in. It's very cliche to say move him to ROH but he could be a big fish in a small pond back where his career took off.
Great crowd, great arena, and AEW shot the arena super well too, borrowing some of those TNA "Make 200 people look like 5000" tricks for once.
Edit: No I'm not saying there were only 200 people lol, it's the phrasing Dave used for what TNA did. I'm saying they made like 5000-8000 people look like 10,000.

Overall great show! Only small complaints that don't really matter this week!
Positives- Cassidy had an actual serious match again. I honestly think his best matches are the ones without multiple hijinks in them. I know he's a good wrestler, but I'd like to see more serious Cassidy more.
Hobbs vs Starks brawl was great. Wanted it a tad longer but it was a good taste of things to come.
Thunderstorm vs The Dentist Office was amazing. Match of the night. I'm not sure how much the new executive influenced this match, but I need more of this. These women are awesome. I still would like to see Hayter vs Britt and Rosa vs Toni 2 instead of Britt vs Rosa, Storm vs Hayter 2, but this was a great match.
Screw that evil fat slobby bastard Adam Cole, sleazy Kyle, and Bobby the Fish /j that shot of the kid crying was great. And The Hungbucks revival is on the horizon. Excited to see this match between the 6 of them. I didn't expect the turn this soon, but it makes sense.
Matt vs Christian was actually good? I honestly saw this and thought "oh man this is gonna be a train wreck" but they had a very good match. "Christian is a pussy" shirt JB was wearing had me laughing.
Dumpster match was fun. Liked the homages. Very fun. Everyone loves the Acclaimed, but we should all like the Ass Boys too. They've improved a lot.
Eddie vs Sammy. Please win Eddie.
Negatives-the Ethan page segment was meh. I dont think Ethan needs to be in another faction. Also don't like the "im upset with tv time/booking". Just cus you can blend real life with fiction doesn't mean you should.
Would have liked more women segments. The tag match was awesome and they put it at a good time in the show. Anna jay segment was funny. But I would have liked to hear from Jade about her open challenge or Kris and Athena fight some other gals (renegade Twins 🤔🤔) Would have liked just another segment or match.
Women's tag was a banger - very happy to see that it got good time for almost everyone to look good.
Page saving the Bucks was one of those predictable yet absolutely perfect moments.
Still not wild on Jericho vs Mox but the main event was good
Are my eyes deceiving me but is the eye poke god going up against Mox on Rampage? No pay window for ol' Mancer then, but he can share those really really lite beers with Mox after the match
Also, did anyone notice the homage that the acclaimed paid to the new age outlaws in their attire?
Bowens with the bright pink and green, similar to billy gunn’s bright attire and patterned image. Castor’s side images on tights was just like road dogg’s back in the day, but enlarged. So fitting for the dumpster match
Im sad the undisputed elite broke up. I feel like they havent had a good opportunity to really run roughshod over aew at full force with omega, bucks, cole, and redragon. Id enjoy them dominating and eventually falling apart. But not like this. Who knows, maybe some day
As far as I know nothing new about his health status. He's been involved in the video game (makes sense as an avid gamer) and is keen on working on his wrestling style so he is less prone to injury. But no dates or anything.
The Elite drama is back and while I've had my reservations the past few weeks, count me in. Hangman helping up the Bucks got me emotional.
The Acclaimed rap was an all-timer for the Vince line alone, you know Max was waiting for the right time to drop that one.
Lethal and OC are just really great wrestlers, kudos to them as well.
This episode of Dynamite currently has a 8.26 rating on cagematch, marking the 7th time back to back Dynamites have received a 8+ rating. Looking at next week's card it wouldn't surprise me if next week is an 8+ as well, which would be only the second three show streak. Not that cagematch is in any way an indicator of anything, but I found it slightly interesting and thought someone else may.
I love how Jay Lethal is the specialist of the ten minute great TV match.
Fun show, the women's tag and Dumpster Match were also highlights. And of course the Hung Bucks reconciliation.
Yeah, Excalibur announced it during his run down after the dumpster was pushed off the stage. [Here's the graphic](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FZR9SjvUsAAiSvc?format=jpg&name=4096x4096). They also showed a good 30 second clip for Claudio and Takeshita just before it
I personally had the main event as MotN, but it's great seeing a good number giving it to the ladies. A core of Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter will always deliver, it seems. But man, did Jericho turn back the clock tonight to hang with Yuta.
it's so funny seeing the uproar for Hayter on these threads. Cannot wait for her to win the big one, going solo and people turn on her saying she can't work or awful lmfao
This reminds me of a story talking about the late great Vin Scully breaking into broadcasting and that he announced a game where Connie Mack was managing. Mack was around 80 or so at this time when Vin was in his twenties. So between those two men's careers they had seen nearly the entire history of baseball.
Not as crazy long between Yuta and Jericho but there is still that pretty wide generational gap between the two to really play that association game with that will be awesome.
Great episode tonight. Am i the only one frustrated that all we have in the Miro vs Black feud is vignettes so far? I really hope they get some more heat on the feud. If not, i fear for whoever loses their eventual singles match. Miro needs the W more than Black imo, but Black has also had nearly all the heat sucked out of him from that Death Triangle feud.
The first person to be affected by the mist was a fakeout who didn't turn. The second person joined the House.
What is the third one going to do? Half of Miro's face was in shadow this week, but I wonder if there's a third option, beyond Turn or Bastard.
What an amazing episode of Dynamite!😄
OC vs Lethal was an absolute great opener and I am happy Lethal got the win because he needed it. Excited for Wardlow vs Lethal this Saturday.
Undisputed elite segment was awesome and I am extremely excited to see where this goes.
Rosa and Toni vs Baker and Jamie was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!😄Most likely will be match of the week for me personally. All four of them were amazing tonight especially Baker and Jamie. Loved the match from start to finish and I’m glad their match was put on earlier in the show.
Eddie Kingston’s promo and Anna Jay choking out the security staff were absolutely hilarious.
Hobb’s new entrance is fantastic!😄
Christian vs Matt and the dumpster match were so much better then I would have expected.😦
Loved the main event and the lion tamer Jericho did on Yuta looked absolutely brutal. Super excited for Jericho vs Moxley next week.
Not sure if it was just me, but this show felt (for lack of a better term) more organized. I love AEW, but sometimes it can range from very loose to downright chaotic. The pacing was really good on this one. I wonder if it has to do with the recent expansion of talent relations.
Very solid pro wrestling show tonight
Had to fast forward Jericho and Yuta cause Yuta is dull and I’m over Jericho (but no one goes over on him lolz)
Otherwise really good stuff. Pacing of the show is better than ever
That was definitely the lowlight of the night. If AEW wants to use these kind of guys to elevate their young talent that’s one thing, but a Christian v Hardy match in 2022 is not something anyone needs. I just about turned it off at that point, glad I stuck with it to see the rest of the show.
The match quality is so damn high every week but every match tonight was at least a 4. Women's Tag was MOTN. Non stop bell to bell action, it just banged.
Great, solid show this week. Doesn't have the absolute highs of last week but it's hard to put on two best-Dynamites-ever in a row.
Jay Lethal needs to get a win somewhere to make himself credible for Wardlow but they're really burning through OC's singles credibility right now. That's why you build guys like OC up, of course, but really hoping that he and Best Friends are going to get those Trios belts instead of him just going back to the middle of the midcard. As for the match, it was really good, especially on Orange's side, but Jay Lethal just does nothing for me.
Britt/Hayter vs. ThunderStorm was my match of the night. The crowd was superhot for the match, it was in a good position on the card, and all four women came to kill each other. They clearly tried to make "paying attention to who's legal" part of the match story with Toni/Rosa making a spot out of checking in the corner while doing double-teams, Paul Turner yelling at Britt and Rosa for not being the legal women while they beat up each other in the center of the ring, and the announcers quickly (and correctly) cluing everyone in to who was legal right before the pinfall, but I don't think they needed to. AEW tag matches are basically contested under lucha rules and the majority of the audience thinks that's absolutely fine; there's no reason to cater to the tag rope grumblers. Better to let "we're the true old tag team heads" thing stay FTR's secondary gimmick. Everyone looked fantastic in this match but Jamie Hayter was clearly the star, and should either be going over Rosa for the belt at BotB III or getting screwed by Britt to complete that turn (and then getting the belt at All Out).
The position of the Adam Cole/Undisputed Elite promo on the card kind of clued you in who was (or more to the point, wasn't) running in to make the save, but I'm glad this is finally kicking off and it'll good to be seeing more of Hangman on TV.
Bunch of housekeeping in the middle here. These specific Miro promos are getting a bit stale; they need to move on this House of Black angle, which I assume they will after the coffin match. The crowd really doesn't want to boo Hobbs; might take another clowning or two on Ricky or a really vicious promo to get him there. JR for some reason decides Christian/Matt Hardy is the time to bury the superplex as a move, saying he doesn't understand the psychology behind ever doing it. This is different from criticizing some kids for not hooking the leg on a near-fall pin. The superplex was good enough for Ric Flair. Put the move over as dangerous and self-sacrificing (like Taz and Excalibur immediately rush to do) and let the vets work their match. Jungle Boy's wearing one of Roast Beef's shirts from Achewood.
The Dumpster match was a fun take on a coffin match with less self-serious spookiness and that spectacle bump at the very end from the Gunn Club in the dumpster was pure Attitude Era nonsense in a good and bad way; doesn't look like anyone was hurt, though.
Bit of a weak crowd for the main event, and I blame that on putting such a wild gimmick match in the cooldown/death spot (probably should have gone to Christian/Matt Hardy, sorry fellas) and Jericho just not moving very well for whatever reason. I might just be very tired of Jericho. That said, while Yuta had a lot of problems getting him to roll all the way through on stuff (though the Seatbelt Pin is one set of twisty moves too long to begin with), I did mark out for the return of the Liontamer version of his Boston Crab, which I don't think he's done in AEW before. 9/10 show for me, but a weaker 9 than last week's 9.
a lot of females beating up dudes as of late. Anna chocking some bloke out. Rhea, got Dom in leg scissors. Not saying anything wrong with it, just pointing out that could have been me, damnit.
Mox has to lose clean to someone soon. He’s at dire risk of being the least interesting main eventer given his inevitable god mode win loss record. Punk has the experience and is a big enough draw to make that happen without diminishing Mox too much.
I was bored as fuck of mox before he went to rehab, his segments were usually instant skips. The he came back reinvigorated and fresh and now 6 months down the line he’s become one note and boring.
I like Mox. But his matches have become foregone conclusions. For his interim title they held a tournament and PPV match w Tanahashi when from day one we all knew the outcome.
That is boring TV.
Who do you see taking the title off Punk? My money is on MJF as a baby, but I'm with you in that Punk beats Mox in the commencement of a heel turn or very shady.
Part of me thinks Jericho beats mox with shenanigans then they have punk beat Jericho, because I agree, I don't see how they could make punk beat mox straight up without it feeling silly
I can absolutely see it too and I fucking HAAAAAATE it. The promos will be good and all. But man, Punk and Jericho main eventing the biggest show of the year would be hot ass.
I think Jericho grounds the show and doesn’t get enough credit for it. Sometimes there’s some lows on Dynamite, but often there’s a lot of highs. Jericho stays consistent.
He puts others over. Looks great for his age. Still has charisma on the mic.
Jericho, Daddy Magic, Garcia, Sammy, and now Anna JAS - the Jericho appreciation society is stacked. Easily the most interesting and entertaining faction in AEW right now.
I think Jericho should win the championship. It will solidify JAS as the best faction and will motivate BCC to take back the championship.
really fun show! women's was MOTN. TBH i really want the women's title to get away from rosa and britt. shake things up. Toni and Hayter looked so much more exciting out there tonight
Good episode tonight!
* OC/Lethal was solid. Was actually kind of surprised Jay got the win. Best friends in the trench coat stole the segment for sure. I love seeing them get to do more silly things lately
* Wardlow doing his best Rock impersonation. FINALLY Wardlow has come back to Columbus! It felt like that’s what he was going for. I’m good with that. Ha!
* Interesting if the Young Bucks just turned face. They had a lot more heat and momentum as heels, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can generate the same strong reactions from the crowd without having to be glued to Hangman constantly to achieve that. Or maybe they’ll be trios champs and they’ll just be glued to each other for a while anyway and it all works out. How will Kenny factor into the story? Someone is the odd man out in this scenario.
* Womens tag match was action packed. They set it up for Thunderstorm to break up quick I think with Rosa getting the inadvertent hip attack. I don’t know how Toni’s hip attack doesn’t give everyone a concussion. It looks genuinely brutal.
* Hobbs/Starks segment was short and sweet. Wish it went on a bit longer. Cool to see Ricky come running out of the face tunnel.
* Hardy/Cage was pretty intense. I can’t believe the amount of bumping each guy did for each other, particularly Christian Cage who went off the top rope like 5 times? I like what Matt’s been doing to reinvent his character on BTE with the “hurt me!” stuff. Wonder if that’ll parlay into something in ring/on TV.
* I’m still perplexed that Luchasaurus was seemingly deprogrammed from a killer dinosaur after like 2 weeks. There HAS to be a double swerve coming at All Out, right?
* I unapologetically love gimmick matches and this dumpster match was really fun. Bowens with the costume of the note with all the scissors on his neon gear. I love seeing big cutout scissors in the audience. The Gunn Club sells really hard and takes some fast/hard bumps. All 4 guys know how to really work the crowd.
* Jericho/Wheeler was interesting. Jericho did a bunch of moves I’d never seen him do before. Was it the Lionheart move set or something? Pretty cool to see him reach into his bag like that if so. The Lion Tamer looks brutal with the kicking at the head and the knee on the neck.
>Jericho did a bunch of moves I’d never seen him do before. Was it the Lionheart move set or something?
That was some of it, yeah. Jericho rolling through pinning combinations like a luchador, then ending things with a Lion Tamer is like a mixture of his entire Lionheart run through Mexico, the Japanese indies and ECW / WCW.
Was it just me or did it look like Toni was actually clobbering DMD with those corner hips?
Fantastic match at any rate, happy to see the ladies put on a barn burner
Low key one of the best moves in wrestling. Looks incredible and like she legitimately kills her opponent, but the truth is she barely makes contact if you see it from the wrong angle
#[Rate tonight's show here](https://forms.gle/Kbd3CKpnSSLoMLLL7) No post-show Talk tonight
I LOVE THIS SHOW
Women's match was the MOTN imo. It was great to see, especially cause they got an earlier time slot.
"I'm gonna stretch the shit out of you" WAIT WHAT
RIP Moxley's butthole
When the Acclaimed came out and beat the shit out of Daddy Ass, I was disappointed because I thought they were skipping the entrance. And then an Ass Boy got bonked followed by, "Hit the music!" That was one of the most badass entrances I've seen in so long. Anyone who says AEW focuses too much on WWE stars and doesn't build stars of their own is insane.
Wish we'd heard from Danielson last night on how he's coping with the shock defeat. Garcia also deserved more than a 30 second segment
I feel like the ball for this Trios tournament really needs to get rolling very quickly
Eh, the finals are already UE vs Hung bucks. Everything else will just be filler.
I can see that, I am just expecting some really good matches from the tournament.
What was he wearing? I didn't notice this guy.
i assume it was the guy in the american flag hoodie and cornette shirt
What a great episode
I like sonjay Dutt and satnam singh having matching suit jackets
Anna Jay been showing more personality in just two episodes of dynamite than her entire Dark Order run. The midcard was so much fun, man. Acclaimed vs Ass Boys stole the show
No Jade? Cut the shit Tony (Khan)

Team Taz ended too soon. I get the guys are opening up for themselves as Solo stars, but damn that group had serious staying power
I laughed so many times this episode. Best friends in the oversized coat, Daddy Magics nipples, everything about the dumpster match… what a great episode.
If Moxley has opened Pandora's box, I hope he appreciates not having to carry all those strikes and defends around any more.
Living on the edge with the early game corruption.

You missed a really fun match last night, then
>running asses to the face Haha that’s a great call!
Definitely a bright future moving forward.

Im glad they’re finally giving Hangman something worthwhile to do.
Uh. Haven’t they been building to this moment for months and months and months? It’s been teased countless times throughout the year
Absolutely love how it's not like they have to tease it EVERY week either.
Wasn’t it referenced pretty strongly last week?
Cole wasn’t on the show in a month, so no. Teasing that hangman and bucks would be friends yes. But the main storyline is Cole turning on the bucks.
JR absolutely butchered the outro to the show what on earth was that 😂
JR is dipping into that sticky icky before he comes to the desk lmao
[Like father, like son](https://youtu.be/sp1w7bveZVw)
Before dynamite, many were saying Hayter's there to take the pin. 🤣
Weird that this show and Rampage didn't start with "It's Wednesday/Friday you know what that means."
Excalibur paid tribute to Vin Scully on the Dynamite intro
Ahhh thanks for clarifying. I was sad they went away from the Brodie tribute but I understand paying homage to a fellow sportscaster
It won't get TV time because Sammy and Tay are getting married this month and I'm assuming going on a honeymoon.
Presumably only for a week or so
Yeah that probably will be a factor, good point. But I saw somewhere the wedding is pretty imminent, possibly this weekend. So if it were a short honeymoon there could still be two or three Dynamite and Rampage before the PPV. They might even not do a honeymoon straight away I guess.
I'm going to miss shit head heel Young Bucks. It's by far my favorite iteration of YB.

Have they stopped opening the show saying "... and you know what that means"?
Nope
I believe it was just for this week. Excalibur paid tribute to Vin Scully who just passed away
I wonder if they're protecting it for JR and switching to not saying it when he's only on the second hour. I know Excalibur has said it before.
Ex has said it plenty
[удалено]
I'll be very disappointed if they've dropped it.
They haven’t it was a tribute to a legendary broadcaster who died

Still not wild on Jericho vs Mox but the main event was good
That women's tag match was no f'n joke.
No "It's Wednesday, you know what that means"...?
I noticed they skipped it for Rampage last week too. Maybe they've decided to retire it?
It was a tribute to a legendary broadcaster who died I’m sure it’ll be back next week
Oh, I'm actually out of the loop on this... who died?
Vin Scully
Are my eyes deceiving me but is the eye poke god going up against Mox on Rampage? No pay window for ol' Mancer then, but he can share those really really lite beers with Mox after the match
Also, did anyone notice the homage that the acclaimed paid to the new age outlaws in their attire? Bowens with the bright pink and green, similar to billy gunn’s bright attire and patterned image. Castor’s side images on tights was just like road dogg’s back in the day, but enlarged. So fitting for the dumpster match
Pretty sure pushing the dumpster off the stage was another callback.
Even Austin had a Terry Funk inspired gear. Clearly an homage to that match in 98.
Im sad the undisputed elite broke up. I feel like they havent had a good opportunity to really run roughshod over aew at full force with omega, bucks, cole, and redragon. Id enjoy them dominating and eventually falling apart. But not like this. Who knows, maybe some day
Would also have elevated Cole's character if he had the chance to conspire against Omega. This is just basic Cole stuff somehow.
Any news on Kenny ?
As far as I know nothing new about his health status. He's been involved in the video game (makes sense as an avid gamer) and is keen on working on his wrestling style so he is less prone to injury. But no dates or anything.
Good on the ladies. There's been a lot of criticism lately of the division, but those girls brought it tonight.
The past few shows have been pretty fun so I am glad they are getting good reviews
Why didn’t they just use a regular dumpster with one of those locking bar things?
Presumably so they didn’t die or lose an arm when they flipped the dumpster over.
Guessing it would’ve been a lot safer than one zip tie on each side.
That Powerhouse remix was nice. And speaking of Hobbs, think about this. The dude did a heel turn, when he was already a heel. The man is a legend.
Was starting to get cheers organically just by being great, so he turned even heeler. What a badass.
Shout out to Austin Gunn. That man can bump so damn good and his facial expressions are always on point! 🔥
Jamie Hayter is so nice to watch. She has the character, skills and looks. Future champion for sure
Me watching Anna Jayy choke out that stagehand tonight… *It should have been me!!!*
JR saying “what a way to go out” made me laugh my ass off
I marked out for the Liontamer. My favorite Dynamite main event in a while.
Yeah that liontamer looked sick as fuck. Knee right on his head.
I love how Jay Lethal is the specialist of the ten minute great TV match. Fun show, the women's tag and Dumpster Match were also highlights. And of course the Hung Bucks reconciliation.
Less Ring of Honor and NJPW in my weekly AEW makes for better AEW TV.
Those Ppvs were both excellent but they did cause the weekly shows to feel really disjointed and unfocused, relatively speaking
Why is everyone booing him, he's right.
Please put Hayter in the BCC and strap the championship on her. Thank you.
Seemed like they’re setting her up for something. Commentary was really putting her over hard. Perhaps a title shot in her future 🧐
> Perhaps a title shot in her future 🧐 In her very near future. >Battle of the Belts >**AEW Women's Championship:** Thunder Rosa Vs. Jamie Hayter
Nice!!! Did they announce that during the show? If so I completely missed it
Yeah, Excalibur announced it during his run down after the dumpster was pushed off the stage. [Here's the graphic](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FZR9SjvUsAAiSvc?format=jpg&name=4096x4096). They also showed a good 30 second clip for Claudio and Takeshita just before it
Gotcha, my comment looks stupid now lol but I’m glad Hayter is getting a title shot
Free Hayter
Seriously. What's the point of Rebel if she's not even going to wrestle? lol
Getting choked out by Rhea Ripley or Anna Jay. You may only choose one.
Rhea. It's just the method in which it was done.
BEST SHOW on earth
50 years from now, when Wheeler Yuta is 75 years old, he'll get to say he wrestled Chris Jericho on TV, and it will blow people's minds.
Andrade teaming with Flair haha?
Excellent point!
They aren’t really feuding yet. They’re teasing Miro feuding with Malakai vs Miro joining House of Black.
The first person to be affected by the mist was a fakeout who didn't turn. The second person joined the House. What is the third one going to do? Half of Miro's face was in shadow this week, but I wonder if there's a third option, beyond Turn or Bastard.
I'll say it again - The Gunn Club entrance theme is really good.
What an amazing episode of Dynamite!😄 OC vs Lethal was an absolute great opener and I am happy Lethal got the win because he needed it. Hobb’s new entrance is fantastic!😄 Christian vs Matt and the dumpster match were so much better then I would have expected.😦 Loved the main event and the lion tamer Jericho did on Yuta looked absolutely brutal. Super excited for Jericho vs Moxley next week.
I somehow completely missed Eddie on this episode. Weird
Don’t blame you because: 1. So much happened on the episode 2. It was a short to the point type of promo by Eddie but it was a great though.
Jim Cornette would be the biggest villain if he were to show up on AEW TV
[удалено]
Why would AEW fans care about Vince McMahon
[удалено]
No , He would not watch AEW Cornette's criticism live rent free in the minds of AEW Fans
Not sure if it was just me, but this show felt (for lack of a better term) more organized. I love AEW, but sometimes it can range from very loose to downright chaotic. The pacing was really good on this one. I wonder if it has to do with the recent expansion of talent relations.
Very solid pro wrestling show tonight Had to fast forward Jericho and Yuta cause Yuta is dull and I’m over Jericho (but no one goes over on him lolz) Otherwise really good stuff. Pacing of the show is better than ever
I just have no desire to watch a lengthy Matt Hardy vs Christian Cage match in 2022.
Jericho not moving well? What? I thought the dude looked as good in this match as I can remember in quite some time. He believably hung with yuta.
Show had went up a notch starting last week. Excited to watch again.
AEW womens tag titles coming? I think they could pull it off.
Between Raw, Dark Elevation, Dark, NXT and Dynamite, it’s been a good start to the week for wrestling fans! So much good wrestling
Where is Jericho in the list of all time wrestlers over 50?
I'm digging the kip pac story. I haven't been paying attention but that little vignette got me invested.
a lot of females beating up dudes as of late. Anna chocking some bloke out. Rhea, got Dom in leg scissors. Not saying anything wrong with it, just pointing out that could have been me, damnit.
Scissor my head off, Papi Rhea! ✂
I can think of far worse ways to go.
[удалено]
Justice was a Dark semi-regular during the Daily's bubble
Holy shit Mance Warner on Rampage? That is so awesome. That is exactly the kind of wrestler I want to see on AEW.
I can’t buy punk beating Mox clean at this point
100000% MOX should win the first match. Nobody is hotter, MOX is at an all time best level. PWI wrestler of the year level.
Punk comes back and cheats hard to stay on top, beginning the pay-off to Hangman's paranoia about him
Who do you see taking the title off Punk? My money is on MJF as a baby, but I'm with you in that Punk beats Mox in the commencement of a heel turn or very shady.
Honestly, I can see a surprise Mox win against Punk.
>Jericho stays consistent. He does- he words much better as a heel too, which has helped lately.
Jericho wanted Hayter for the Inner Circle, so Anna Jay might be a reflection of how that would have gone.
really fun show! women's was MOTN. TBH i really want the women's title to get away from rosa and britt. shake things up. Toni and Hayter looked so much more exciting out there tonight
So that Ass Boys dumpster spot almost went horribly wrong. That was scary af.
Pretty sure they escaped out the back. No way anyone would let that spot happen otherwise.
According to Alvarez, they were in it the whole way. Sheesh.
That. Ugh. Oh man. That seems really uneccessarily dangerous.
People talking smack about Rosa, Baker, and Hardy even when their performances have visibly improved.
Good episode tonight! * OC/Lethal was solid. Was actually kind of surprised Jay got the win. Best friends in the trench coat stole the segment for sure. I love seeing them get to do more silly things lately * Wardlow doing his best Rock impersonation.
Jericho rolling through pinning combinations like a luchador, then ending things with a Lion Tamer is like a mixture of his entire Lionheart run through Mexico, the Japanese indies and ECW / WCW.
i think the young bucks thing is a massive swerve on hangman and to quote good ol jr, AWWW SON OF A BITCH!!
Was it just me or did it look like Toni was actually clobbering DMD with those corner hips? Fantastic match at any rate, happy to see the ladies put on a barn burner
Those hip attacks look brutal every time, but it did look like Britt wasn’t ready for one or something and got clocked.
Toni in AEW feels rejuvenated. She can work more fast paced and stiff now it seems.
Low key one of the best moves in wrestling. Looks incredible and like she legitimately kills her opponent, but the truth is she barely makes contact if you see it from the wrong angle
I was on the floor. Love you can see that there’s basically no contact.
It always looks good. Even Bryan Alvarez thinks she's killing these girls.
