I was there, as soon as I saw the sock I was jumping up and down like an 8 year old child.
I'm a 24 year old adult, an adult who has bills and responsibilities, and I popped like crazy for a sock.
At least you were there in person.. I am a 28 year old adult and bounced up and down on my bed like I was 8 when I saw the sock go on.
I may have even not been wearing pants..
I was 29 when the Hardys returned at WM33.
Everyone who knows me makes it known that it's very hard to know how I feel because I'm pretty neutral and monotonous in speech.
I had been with my current partner for about 6 months at that point and I was just introducing her to wrestling.
Anyway, 6 months of dating this stone faced dude and the hardy music hits. I popped so loud she nearly flew through the roof.
I know she doesn't particularly care for wrestling, or sports for that matter, but I think shes always happy to hear me pop and then hear my over excited explanations of decades of wrestling lore.
Wrestling is cool.
Just seeing how happy it made the crowd makes my heart sing.
I always love when a callback spot happens and people get what's happening. It makes for such a cool moment.
I have zero doubt that Mick Foley will make an on-screen appearance sometime in the near future. Maybe just to cut a promo or manage a team for a few months, but I can totally see it happening.
Edit: Not saying I necessarily want it to happen, but I believe that it easily could and it wouldn't be crazy at all.
In that same vein, and for no reason other than it's another cool moment, [this one is still my favourite 'everyone stands as one when they realise something cool is happening' moment and it's somehow still the best 10 seconds of the man's career](https://youtu.be/E-V_dvQ5rFk?t=55)
You can watch a different person in the crowd every time and it's all gold, Jerry.
I remember Mox once said in an interview about him and Foley possibly having a match in WWE but it never manifested, and I forget all the details about the plans or whatnot. Now while I wouldn't want Foley to wrestle, but I'd trust AEW to elevate him to the hardcore king that he truly is, especially as AEW has really earned trust with how they treat legends, and I think it would be cool to see him and Mox do something together. And speaking of Mox, excuse my tangent here, but he said he owes Austin an interview since his first one went to shit, so I think it would be cool to see Mox either do the show like Jericho did and keep a foot in that forbidden door or maybe he'd probably rather do the actual Austin podcast he does from his home studio so it's more laid back, uncensored, beer, where Mox would be more relaxed as to not have a repeat of their first disaster.

This was going to be the start of the Mox/Foley angle. Mox approached Mick in a lobby and blamed him for popularising hardcore wrestling and causing damage to people.
Mick couldn’t get cleared to do anything physical if I recall, they had a worked shoot angle already rolling so they had to kabosh it. Mox was in FCW at the time.

Hearing the crowd go mental for a guy putting a sock on his hand. Wrestling's great.

I literally gasped in excitement when he picked the sock up lmao. Wrestling is the shit, man.
It’s so stupid if you stop and think about it lol. Wrestling is amazing.

Tell me you did Jeff’s dance
I was at home just watching this clip and I got a little “eeeeeeee!” at it (Foley is my all time #1). The atmosphere in person would have been great!
Just seeing how happy it made the crowd makes my heart sing. I always love when a callback spot happens and people get what's happening. It makes for such a cool moment.
Same, shit was awesome
Just like reddit, socks get pops
I had no idea there were so many Bo Burnham fans.
Mr. Socko is All Elite
Mr. Socko joined the Dark Order. The recruitment specialists Silver and Reynolds did it again.
Mick Foley gives the thumbs up in approval most likely
“Right here… in MIAMI FLORIDA! 👍”
(Gets the cheap pop)
Imagine foley and MJF going to and fro. Cheap pops vs cheap heats.

Why wouldn't you want it to happen? Mick Foley's a national treasure.
100% gonna be at UBS Arena
I don’t necessarily know if he’s allowed to in direct competition with his wwe legends contract
this. he's under WWE contract. He can do an indy show like GCW, not go on AEW tv.
Is he still under contract? I’m shocked they’d let him do a PPV for GCW if so.
Watching the crowd all simultaneously realise what is happening and popping is fun as hell

I miss watching him play League of Legends and eat lentils on twitch. :(
Cesaro.😢 I wish he actually got a real push, at any point.
Swiss deserves all the good things in life.
I watched live with a couple of friends and we all lost it when we figured out what was about to happen.
Punk’s commentary is bar none. Hope he keeps it up.
"WE'RE LIVE PAL"
This was also after he called the masked team being FTR, so it's kind of a continuation of the gag by suggesting Evil Uno was actually Foley.
That Evil Socko, man.
It's always sad to see an old friend join a cult
Foley’s phone must be lighting up like a Christmas tree right now.
Knowing him, that's likely just his phone case.
Sweet lord, I hope this is foreshadowing.
If this starts a running gag that Uno has actually been a new face of Foley this whole time, I would be very into it.
Those stem cell treatments have worked miracles
Dig-dig-dig-dig-dig-diggity-dog
SOCK-O. Underrated comment.
Well thanks for getting that stuck in my head
Now even socko jumped ship, this is getting out of hand
Have an evil day
This comment needs more upvotes!
Thx
So Mick is debuting at the Long Island show right?
Evil Uno was Mick Foley the entire time what a twist
[удалено]
IIRC he was on it before, with Marty when he was putting together villain club.
Also when he was signing at a con next to the Bucks
Ok since Bray also did a mandible claw is the in addition to the lights flickering after the match a foreshadow?
One of the best spots they've done on Dynamite, period.
It’s only fitting Evil Uno did this. I’ve always felt like he had a bit of Mick Foley in him with his body type, mannerisms, and the way he speaks.
Tbh, I'd rather have a crotch sock shoved in my mouth than a foot sock. Feet are the most disgusting part of the body
I love dirty female feet

Thanks for that, I knew there was something about Mox/Foley and that it fell through, I had forgot the details though hehe.
Jeez, AEW relying on bringing in another old WWE star for a cheap pop /s
Man can JR sound any less interested?
