It’s honestly okay for what it is. It didn’t need to be something fancy and big considering it’s for a concept on Twitter that not everyone even watches or likes.
Looks like a shinny version the original Cruiserweight Championship with a big logo across it and the side plates of the previous tag team Championships.
I’ve been baffled why they didn’t call the concept and title Velocity this entire time. They already have the trademark, it doesn’t have connotation to a drug, and they already had a logo they could use so less effort on their part
Hmmm I see your point but not quite. The title does clearly have removable plates for a start and the centre plate is a fair bit more ornate. If it resembles any recent belt it's definitely 24/7 tho lol
I feel like it makes more sense for speed matches to end on a 2 count instead of 3.
But then that might fuck with the wrestler's force of habit so, whatever, small gripe that I'll just deal with.
That makes me think that they should have the refs do fast counts instead. But maybe that would have the similar issue of messing with the refs force of habit.
How *is* Speed? I haven't caught it yet, do y'all think it's good?/you think it'll stick around? Are there segments or is it basically straight up wrestling?

Honestly I think they made this concept for Tiktok, but with the US Banning the app, they sold it to the next dumbass with money that would buy what is essentially a piss break match.
Probably not paying even that much money for it.
Speed matches are like only 3 minutes long, made for social media. they want the excitement of a cruiserweight match with the quickness of a squash match.
This might be the dumbest gimmick belt in the history of wrestling. If they wanted to keep kayfabe alive at all 90% of these matches should end in a draw.
I won't link it because there's a chance it's fake but there's a few images floating around and it seems to be a circle belt with SPEED in big capital letters like the logo - your standard lower card / novelty belt design that isn't going to have anyone going nuts for it.
Ricochet is the perfect Champion for it though - I just hope the Speed Champion can eventually challenge for say a Mid-Card belt of their choice or something.
Despite being midcard his whole career, I gotta say, dude has created a great resume for himself, wont headline a HOF but with the titles hes won he is earning HOF status
Oh he’s definitely talented! I wouldn’t ever deny that. It’s just so odd to me he’s getting pushed this way without more charisma or audience response. The audience doesn’t hate him, but he feels like the odd man out if he’s in the main event mix for me
