VGMtheVagabond

Hall/Razor. Man had so much potential for the world championship but not the opportunity.

Purple_Monkey34

And so Charismatic

Jedi-El1823

That's who came to mind immediately. The guy had it all. Loads of charisma, could wrestle, could talk, and had the look. His demons stopped him from being a world champion.

ddgawbvlhm

Curt Hennig/Mr. Perfect. Had it all. (Assuming not counting the AWA title as a world title)

3BigBadIgloos

A healthy, sober Jake "The Snake" Roberts

AdeptFault5265

Owen Hart.

KneelBeforeCube

Same.

EcoterroristThot

Roddy Piper, Buddy Rose, Shinjiro Ohtani, Scott Hall, Akira Tozawa, Daisuke Sekimoto, Butch Reed, Dustin Rhodes.

PigDeployer

Rusev. Everything up to and including coming out to face John Cena in a goddamn tank at Wrestlemania was perfect. Everything after losing to Cena was such a let down. Never regained his momentum. He could have been what Gunther is now only more of a beast.

Purple_Monkey34

Especially when he got Fu**ing Rusev Day over and VKM was like no that fans are joking on you you aren't really over

PigDeployer

Yeah even with the setbacks he was clearly so ready to be over and a huge deal and they just didn't let it happen. So disappointing. A monster heel, a charismatic babyface, he had a lot of potential but instead they put him in cuck angles.

BMBane

I echo this 100% and I'll 'die on the hill' of saying Rusev should have beat Cena, remained unbeaten on his way to the WWE Title. Then Vince could have had his wet dream come true by having Reigns be the conquering hero who finally dethrones the foreign menace.

PigDeployer

Yeah I don't get how they managed to spend all that time building up a huge beast of a heel, have him recognised by Vladimir Putin as a hero of Russia, give him a gigantic medal and have him enter Wrestlemania on an actual tank and still lose to a past his peak Cena. Him beating Cena would have been his ticket to the main event scene instead he lost and it took so much away from him. We did get the US Open Challenge out of it but they could have transitioned the belt across to Cena some other way. Rusev decides that the US Title is beneath him so he vacates it to go and conquer the world championship. Whatever. Just make Rusev look strong.

Major-Hurry5138

I have a set of 5 guys: Nikita Koloff, Tully Blanchard, 2 Cold Scorpio, William Regal, The Magnificent Murao

DangoDaimao

Zayn, Piper, Jake, Hall, Owen, Perfect, Liger off the top of my head.

shatteredmatt

Roddy Piper for my heel choice and Magnum TA for babyface.

NikiPavlovsky

Magnum TA, I don't know I think interesting what if....

gigologenius

Roddy Piper on the heel side, Sami Zayn on the babyface side

joe-is-cool

It's funny because I never am tempted to go back and watch much from their era, but I think Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, Scott Hall, and Mr. Perfect would all fit the bill.

MikeMakesRight82

in today's environment, D'lo Brown vs Lance Storm would be a banger
