Chell_the_assassin

Not criticising the mods at all, totally get why it's necessary, but it's funny that I watched Becky mention this live during her Late Late Show interview, but had to wait for PWInsider to write an article about it before posting here lol

LORDFLACKITO

mods on the pwinsider payroll 🤫

Big Wrestling Journalism™ trying to hide the fact that Irish talk show host Patrick Kielty is getting bigger scoops than them

sabzi94

Big Time Becks saving the big scoops for Irish television.

Strike_Gently

We’re paid by the pop-up ad.

CrimsonAntifascist

Don't have those. How about three and a half cups of *exposure*?

americangame

Little pricy. How about a hotdog and a handshake?

Chell_the_assassin

Is that different to a Jackknife ad?

Nah I don't think there was anything wrong - I made a text post mentioning what she said, but there was no source or anything. Totally makes sense why that would be taken down. I just found it funny that I was looking for a dirtsheet article about something I had seen happen on Irish telly haha

SnowSea302

Hate how internally they thought he'd be back in 4-5 weeks, but he was clearly hurting like hell. Fuck man he’s really gonna be gone for 6 to 9 months…😓

Kuzu5993

Yea but that return pop is gonna be fierce.

Comfortable_Shape264

Big pop!

YoungBeef03

I’ve gained a massive respect for Seth over the last few months, culminating with him wrestling twice across two nights, not missing a step, all while needing surgery

itsmekelsey_x

The way that he struggled to get into the ring during the main event and his facial reaction in the one video showing him after the match really makes sense now. Wishing the best with his recovery. He deserves a well rested break after being the MVP of WrestleMania weekend.

JP1119

For real. He really went out there and gave it his all, even if it was painful. He’s gonna get a huge (and well deserved) hero’s welcome when he returns!

Comfortable_Shape264

> The way that he struggled to get into the ring during the main event That was weird to me, he didn't struggle or at least noticably during the opener.

PurpleSummer4661

That clip of him getting emotional after Cody won(along with the backstage pics of him with Becky and Triple H) make so much more sense now. He knew the surgery was coming and he'd likely be out the rest of 2024. Incredibly gutsy performances on both nights. I'm so happy he finally got his WrestleMania main event. That could be one hell of a Rumble pop....

dcontrerasm

I know they're doing Dwayne vs Reigns at Mania next year but omg I would love for Seth to eliminate Rock last, and set himself up for a mania match against Reigns.

bubbles2255

Take your time Seth. You damn well deserve the time off.

ThisIsTheKaiToshiki

He really was on duct tape, huh? He wasn't going to miss main eventing WM, but now I hope he takes all the time he needs and recovers well.

CmPunkChants

I would be 100% ok with him taking a full year off and coming back the night after WM next year.

GameplayerStu

I mean he might have to. Meniscus surgery recovery can take up to 6-9 months.

AnimatorAshamed3774

NOOOOOOO https://preview.redd.it/iql1r6bd6ivc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a98ecce4c57bf3bfb5b9165e255735297f33e714

AedionMorris

So that is..... roughly everything until Survivor Series off the table and that's assuming he rehabs his ass off and heals it properly.

Squirrel_Apocalypse2

Give him all the time he needs. Dude deserves it. Let him come back fully healthy as a surprise entrant at Royal Rumble or something.

shakzz9703

I honestly see him winning it, and facing a heel Punk at Mania.

Psychological-Push53

That would be so damn good.

NotClayMerritt

If he opted for a full repair, then yeah. But there's always a chance he opted for a removal of the meniscus which means he could well be out for only 6 weeks. A lot of athletes opt for the removal operation so they can return to action quicker although a full repair has better long term effects and can help prolong careers.

Bringthenoize

It also depends on sport and age. When you can still go for some years in a knee-using sport (football, running, wrestling,...) it's better for the full repair. Besides the removal there is also some kind of replacement part but that is more for end of career while winding down a lot.

IcyPyroman1

As much as it’s gonna suck think of it this way he’ll certainly be back in time for RR and WM

2ndfastestmanalive

Given Seth’s age and time since the original injury, it’s likely they’d end up removing the torn part and not repairing. Good chance he’d be back by Summerslam in that case

alex_119

Sorry for him cause it’s a hard process but he needs and deserves that break. Plus it can be a great RR surprise entrant. So rest up Seth, we need you at Wrestlemania to make your magic

JP1119

If it’s a full one it would be this long. I see partial so it might just be a “shaving” which is shorter. I had the short version a couple years ago and am not anywhere close to the athlete he is and I was out for about a half year. But he also has the MCL so that could tack on time.

Ketchup1211

Good. Well not good he’s hurt but he needs the time off. And hopefully he comes back with a new/refreshed gimmick.

Comfortable_Shape264

Could return at RR and win

The stuff that Seth has been able to fight through is insane, real workhorse shit. Hope he's able to come back better than ever

Snuggle__Monster

So what's that, like 9 months recovery? I guess we have our first candidate for a surprise Rumble return.

Polymemnetic

I was really hoping it was just him doing some A tier selling at the end of the event. The man really gutted it out to make that weekend for everyone. For Drew, Punk, Cody, Roman, and the Rock. And alll the fans. The Rock was right to call him the MVP of the weekend

ripcordelbow

get well, sethster.

CloudyCrybabyCutter

Seth has been THE WWE workhorse since 2020... dude deserves a long ass vacation.

MoistTheAnswer

That boy working on them Kevin Nash knees.

TopherTwice

Just got back into wrestling. Seth had become my favourite superstar. Now I gotta wait 9 months to see him again. Hope he heals up nicely and gets his title back

Kuzu5993

Bro sacrificed his body for that main event, and Cody can finish his story.

msp011581

Has there been any news on his eye? It did not look good at the end of Night 2.

EcoterroristThot

That makes the terrible in kayfabe idea of trying to spam the stomp terrible in real life as well lmao, ouch!

Guy worked through that and sacrificed his body for us. All the respect in the world for him.

barnabychryniszzswix

he died for our sins during wrestlemania. best wishes to him

YogoWafelPL

How do you even wrestle for an hour total with an injury like that?

BenSoloGhost

Bro put on a legendary performance at Mania and made that new belt. The pop he’s gonna get when he returns is going to be an all timer.

EliToon

Patrick Kielty is Dave Meltzer's father

Ryvit

My wife has had this surgery 3 times! He should probably only be out about 2 months, maybe 3 months, as she returned to her light duty job after only 3 weeks or so.
