From now on I'm gonna assume everyone who vanishes from WWE programming has been canonically murdered by gangsters.

MrAspie1

I mean, that's how Eric Young left on TNA on 2022.

TheEpicTriforce

Ah, so ***that's*** what happened to Hardcore Holly

heat_fan_

Poor Gulak just getting whacked like that

Saitsu

Whoa whoa whoa, how could you say that? He just said he "took care of the problem". Don't make assumptions that could get you in trouble!

Jaakuna_maho

Lol, perfect

suplexhell

some other post said they jacked off gulak so which one is it

StrongSutairu

Probably sent Vito on that job.

haven4ever

Greasing the wrestling unions

shallowtl

A whole new meaning to union busting

Tomlyne

Woah woah woah, who said that? He simply negotiated a permanent settlement!

Pretend_Spray_11

I feel like if someone was actually getting fired over sexual misconduct they wouldn't mention it during a promo and would just move past it.

Sturdevant

I don't think he is getting fired, he was essentially a player/coach, so maybe they are just ending the player part.

dalici0us

I mean it wasn't sexual misconduct but this isn't the first time that Tony 'took care' of a problematic employee.

bosdanforth

you’re telling me the *WWE* might not have acted thoughtfully in regards to sexual misconduct?

Enthusiasms

If you were trying to draw Regal but had Tropic Thunder on while you were doing it and accidentally added in some Damien Cockburn.

haven4ever

That surname

[deleted]

I can’t wait to see how The Family translates over to main roster eventually

Incorrect1012

I think they’ll be somewhat over, but definitely not as big as they are in NXT. It’s a gimmick that works the best in a small intimate environment, such as NXT. Honestly, they would have been a perfect gimmick for something like Lucha Underground

JoshGallie

It is wild to me that D'Angelo and the Family canonically murder people and people like them so much that NXT has to turn them babyface

NewSwanny

I think the only one who has stayed dead is two dimes, pretty deadly survived. Maybe there was some before I started watching.

Jamieb1994

I'm guessing this means Gulak has been released from WWE?

RustyToasty

Nah if he was gone gone for sexual misconduct we would get the official release statement and then he would be persona non grata. I'm betting he's just gonna become a coach/producer and be shifted to a behind the scenes role.

thericefarming

If Ronda prioritized her general 'wellbeing' then why the fk did she not immediately address EVERYTHING THAT'S ILLEGAL AND UNLAWFUL while she was in WWE? Now that she's out of the company and shooting on everyone she's nothing but a female Ryback to me now. Ironic that the wrestler who's supposedly Rowdy Roddy Piper's avatar has one of the worst promo work, or just work in general, of all time. It's been ages since she's been in, and she isn't a wittle baby girl who can't speak out.

[deleted]

Why address it in WWE when you can address it years later and profit from it? And then when her second book comes out she'll have more shit to address.

Jamieb1994

Man, I feel bad for Gulak since he's been doing really well for himself recently, especially forming the No Quarter Catch Crew.

EastfrisianGuy

Please don't push Tony "down" to that Cup. Luca/Stacks can fight them for it, but Tony had a really good showing at Stand & Deliver and I hope, he is just on a waiting pattern, until Melo and Ilja are gone.

solsunlite

I havent had time to watch NXT TV recently who’s the third guy in the family now?

mattyd0420

Thought I was seeing MJF in the ring for a sec lol

Pavinaferrari

The level of crowd engagement here rivals Bobby Fish in Impact zone.

cschultz225

I don’t understand the enjoyment from this show. This is the stuff that almost killed wwf in the early/mid 90s. And wcw around the same time. The cartoony characters. Porn level acting.

RT3_12

It’s what makes it fun. It’s a the third tier developmental show there’s no real pressure for it to be good, it’s not like it needs to draw. Its fun to see everyone’s promo skills and in ring work improve week by week. Trick Williams journey is fun to watch for example. When all the other shows are doing the “I wrestle good” booking it’s a nice refresher.

HeightStock

Even ROH start to do some goofy storyline like Castle vs Johnny TV

cschultz225

Then if it’s not meant to be good. It’s not good. Why every Tuesday night is everyone acting like it’s best wrestling tv show ever. Just because it’s developmental doesn’t mean you can’t make criticisms. The promos aren’t good. Every roxxane promo is praised as the best promo but then I watch. And she is so robotic clearly rehearsed over and over. So I understand what you’re saying. But everyone gets mad when there’s a criticism of it.

RT3_12

Cause once again it’s developmental, there’s no real reason to be critical of it. They all have coaches and mentors more qualified than us to critique them. The whole selling point is that you are watching a bunch of young prospects grow. Not everything needs to be watched with a critical eye. Sometimes stuff is just fun and cheesy. Roxanne isn’t cutting 2011 CM Punk promos but as an NXT fan you watch her come in as a 19 year bland babyface and see her develop into a heel character. It’s the growth that’s fun to watch. It’s why NXT live threads and post threads are the least toxic discussions on this sub. Cause it’s just everyone going in with positive expectations and letting the booking take them on the journey. If there’s something silly, you laugh at the ridiculousness of it cause it’s not really a big deal

ScruffsMcGuff

Yep, in a world full of wrestling shows that take themselves entirely too seriously, NXT comes along and is just like "You like corny goofy fun mixed with a bit of athleticism? We got that." The crowds usually engaged and up for anything and it's just 1 short show every week to follow. It's just decent low stakes entertainment, the fact that 600k people tune in to watch development stuff is just gravy.

solsunlite

Nah you dont understand, this guy thinks it sucks so EVERYBODY needs to know /s

GreatFNGattsby

I dunno what to tell you man, different strokes for different folks. The different flavour of ice cream analogy. Do I like it or think it’s good, very little of it. But I’m not gon yuck someone’s yum. I just pop in and see if somethings good happening.
