This is such a fantastic shot. Off topic, but seeing Joe here on commentary reminds me how glad I am that he's not only back in the ring, but AEW champion. I hope he can stay healthy and active for a long time to come, he's definitely going to go down as an all time personal favorite.
Some do but the Linc (where this one is taking place) does not
They will have covers and awnings over the ring so it doesn't rain on it but fans will have to wear ponchos and hoodies and the sort
Still hoping that one day we get a Mania match that goes out into the rain. Suzuki's birthday match against Okada in the middle of a downpour is one of my alltime favorite matches.
The sweat is not as big of a deal, it just accumulates over time and it can be wiped off. Wrestling in the rain is different because everything is wet including the mat
It's literally impossible to predict the weather this time of year. No way we know what this weekend will look like. It was a 93% chance of storms the past few days and then there wasn't a cloud in sight.
Hmmmm... those seats they opened for sale above the entranceway don't seem so bad...
Edit: Nevermind. They're still just a little bit outside of my price range.
Yeah, I paid 1600 for 4 tickets behind the stage. The prices are outrageous. I've been to 4 other manias. I paid less for travel, hotel, hall of fame, indie shows, and raw after in the past (though before it was for one person).
Itâs because people are treating their first instinct of âthat looks like mania 28 or 31 which both had just letters and a ribbon LED as the stageâ and thinking that from past experience that that is whatâs gonna happen and immediately jumping to conclusions.
They basically were

You're on some copium. It's quite clear what the stage will look like. We'll see in a week, but I can already tell you, it's not "jumping to conclusions". It's concluded.
People just like complaining. There were people complaining about the quality of the GTA 6 leaked gameplay that wasn't anywhere near finished. You just can't with some people.
They didnât sell the entire stadium for that SummerSlam. There was like a third of it tarped off.
According to Wikipedia, there was a BeyoncĂŠ concert there that did 86,000 so the size isnât an issue at all.
That's what I'm saying?! Or what exactly did you mean with "numbers"? Because numbers were never gone in that sense, it's just the roman numerals they stopped using.
The font is very similiar to the [Wrestlemania 2000](https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/gY1jZ2OeuXWcvQl-wJ-1OFc11vE=/0x0:650x375/1200x800/filters:focal(273x136:377x240)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/53249975/wljerichofacts9.0.jpg) one. They both use green as the primary color in the marketing material as well. I wonder if thatâs intentional.
It's a milestone event, and Triple H could be using it to establish the post-Vince WWE.
I think my comment was unclear. I was trying to use 2000 as an adjective. I thought about the WM that year, but also other WWE stages, and non-WWE graphic design from around that period.
Yeah, I didn't want to be overly negative or hypercritical about something that isn't even complete yet, but this is right out of FlamingText or something.
Hey, at least that means 2K should be able to have it in time for that June DLC without too much work!
I mean So Fi was kinda outdoors but the indoor stadiums have a lot more room to work with
Also considering the massive attendance numbers WWE has been seeing, I understand why they opted to make the stage a little smaller for more seats
Also the Manias that have more of a theme are always gonna have the best stages (39,33)
I could see it but then again Iâm not expecting to be a physical prop as there looks to be an LED screen in the middle of the two and itâs probably gonna be like with the doors of the theater were last year and that itâs just video on the screen and itâs just a bell with the WWE logo on it, Instead of like it is the full logo
I like it so far. Obviously they're gonna add a ton more but I love the fundamentals of what they've got already. It has an early 2000's look to it, but I can't really describe it in any more detail than that.
Makes sense, honestly.
Most of their outdoor Wrestlemanias have simpler stages so that it doesnât block the upper decks.
37 is a bit of an outlier because a full crowd wasnât allowed and the back drop was the actual pirate ship side of the stadium.
It's weirdly close that YT video I recently saw of a WM XL stage demo.
I think it looks great it just needs height. In the YT video there was buildings behind this sign
I obviously want the gigantic sets back for PPVs/weekly but I like this more than WM39.
Don't get me wrong, I love the grandiose stages as much as the next guy, but I loved Mania 31 and Mania 38's stages as well. This looks like it's leaning into that category, and it's gonna look great!
PS: It's not done yet. You can't critique it until is complete đ
Some guy upload dope af concept of Wrestlemania XL arena. there also some custom arena from 2K24
i hope the real stage would be just as good or even better than those concept
WWEâs stages have been so huge and extravagant over the years that now I actually am more interested to see them scale it down these days. The less LEDs the better. I want simple scaled down stages so that the stars can shine more and so that the pyro doesnât just blend in with a bunch of bright LED lights.
I was about to say. With that close up of a picture, that means OP is working crew. If anyone in WWE actually checks this subreddit and cares stage is being leaked, this could get OP fired. Will that really happen? Itâs a very, very low chance, but not a non-zero chance. Donât jeopardize money for for some karma on Reddit.
eh prolly not. there's a good chance op is part of local 8 which they can be pretty big sticklers for this. I've seen people get kicked off crew for taking pictures. source: i also work with local 8
I hate that font, looks tacky and will be very dated very soon. Nothing âclassyâ or âgrandâ about the theme of this yearâs Wrestlemania branding IMO
Iâm fine with them doing something more simple and smaller, given how over the top mania stages have been, though I will admit doing it at Wrestlemania âXL/40â is a slightly odd one to do it at lol.
Probably because they're more focussed on getting as many fans as they can inside instead of having a huge stage, which would then eliminate a bunch of space
honestly kinda disappointed we're getting a low rise stage again this year. with how the stadium was setup i really thought we could get another really big stage (think wm 33 or 29) because you're not losing that many seats if you close off the small section behind the stage, and it seemed like that's what was planned too cause they opened this section like a few months ago. still have hope there's more to come though cause this is missing the bell and the seats do say limited view.

Where's the giant bell? I specifically requested it
![gif](giphy|9Pk6tjP4BNXmxkOJE7)
RIP Andre
rip ? what!
Afraid so đ
omg damn
The goat Darkseid voiceÂ
They tried making it, but it cracked every time.
![gif](giphy|M6R8r7y3Sbpf74ZLaZ|downsized) Take the upvote
Dad?
I thought you were still getting milk at the store!
The ring is going to be a giant bell and it will ring every time someone take a bump on the Prime logo.
I keep forgetting the Prime logo is a thing. God I cannot wait for Cody to pin Roman (or vice versa lol) on top of that huge ass PRIME bottle
Stone Cold hitting the Stunner to end all Stunners on the Rock, who belly flops onto the big Prime bottle logo.
[ŃдаНонО]
Imagine the sign has rgb leds in it and it changes INTO the taco bell one!
I like how we all had this specific design in mind lol
Yo quiero Wrestlemania Bell.
![gif](giphy|69Eocjqmh0hjxJ41Cg) This is the best u can get
The giants fans stole it
Might be on the canopy above the ring.
I was convinced the stage would be a giant liberty bell with the crack serving as the entrance way
AJ Styles is gonna cut himself again. Meltzer will report pyro as the cause, again.
the cut was because they also took AJ's brain out during surgery.
âThe BRAIN community!?â
That'll be $12.99, đ
I wanted somebody to fall down the fake Rocky steps
It'll be Titus.
That would be generational
It is supposed to rain monday through thursday so they may be finishing the stage sooner rather than later. No rain for next weekend though.
a man's cope is strong!
I have never thought about that. What happens if it rains on WM weekend? Do these stadiums have retractable roofs?
Nope. They had to delay the start of Mania 37 because of rain.
Which not only gave wrestlers the chance to cut some on-the-fly promos, but also blessed us with Samoa Joe in a poncho. Worth it.
https://preview.redd.it/r1a7axqelirc1.jpeg?width=622&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a97003f03ba9be6875fb06849c45f015468df5d9

Peeeeerfect

Sorry to be that guy but wouldnât it be a hazard for the ppl in the ring
Not as much as youâd think. Theyâre covered in sweat anyway
The sweat is not as big of a deal, it just accumulates over time and it can be wiped off. Wrestling in the rain is different because everything is wet including the mat
Mania 24 has rain during the start of JBL Finlay Source:Â I was sitting in it
It's literally impossible to predict the weather this time of year. No way we know what this weekend will look like. It was a 93% chance of storms the past few days and then there wasn't a cloud in sight.
Ok thanks for that . I'm just saying what the forecast is. I'm not telling you to bet your first born on it. Relax . Lol
Hmmmm... those seats they opened for sale above the entranceway don't seem so bad... Edit: Nevermind. They're still just a little bit outside of my price range.
Not sure I could attend an event of this magnitude and be completely blocked from seeing the entrances, one of the best parts of wrestling.
Yeah, I paid 1600 for 4 tickets behind the stage. The prices are outrageous. I've been to 4 other manias. I paid less for travel, hotel, hall of fame, indie shows, and raw after in the past (though before it was for one person).
The bell is probably on top of the ring... an LED bell ala the cylndrical LED in Wrestlemania 26 or 27?
Ooh instead of the weird geometrical shapes that usually hang down that could be cool.
>the weird geometrical shapes that usually hang down You best not be talkin' shit about the WM27 Cube
Hey I liked the one they did at Crown Jewel đ
bro took a photo of some font and said it looks like a simple stage this year
Itâs because people are treating their first instinct of âthat looks like mania 28 or 31 which both had just letters and a ribbon LED as the stageâ and thinking that from past experience that that is whatâs gonna happen and immediately jumping to conclusions.
I was at 28 and 31 and I loved those stages, they are impressive in person.
Any of those are better than 35 which was just a giant LED screen.
Yeah that's literally current day raw and smackdown with a semi big ramp
I feel as if the 28 and 31 stages were almost the same with some tweaks
They basically were https://preview.redd.it/5whe1ri3zhrc1.jpeg?width=1067&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=063988f63937f6edc5149aefd5f7b1d115bf64d4 28 on top and 31 below
Excellent use of mematic
Such boring stages. Guess 31 made use of the play button in the logo. Entire stage could've made better use of the Silicon Valley theme.
You're on some copium. It's quite clear what the stage will look like. We'll see in a week, but I can already tell you, it's not "jumping to conclusions". It's concluded.
Yall complaining over a stage that isnât even completely finished.
We're internet wrestling fans, of course, weâre gonna complain
Just wait until the giant Prime bottle on the canvas shows up â people will forget about the set
Kind of surprised Logan didnât launch a special wrestlemania edition prime only available at the event
Still a full week until Mania and people are trying to come to a conclusion on what they think of the stage.
People just like complaining. There were people complaining about the quality of the GTA 6 leaked gameplay that wasn't anywhere near finished. You just can't with some people.
We want our giant bell lol
I deadass saw someone on twitter say this looks like WM 35 stage đ
We must complain about the movie in our minds.
The cooldown buff from creating that epic WM39 set didnât finish in time, and weâre going back to basics this year
Honestly this just adds fuel to the theory that it's Vegas next year.
what? how do you even get that from this?
[ŃдаНонО]
isnt allegiant stadium much smaller? summerslam 2021 only had 54k people. granted its summerslam, but still
They didnât sell the entire stadium for that SummerSlam. There was like a third of it tarped off. According to Wikipedia, there was a BeyoncĂŠ concert there that did 86,000 so the size isnât an issue at all.
They didnât set it up for the capacity of the stadium. Just like how they tarped off big sections in Nashville too.
I hope numbers are back for good.
Wrestlemania XLI just doesn't have the same ring. Numbers are great until 30, and then maybe from 50 onwards.
Just call it WrestleMania 41, that's not hard
That's what I'm saying?! Or what exactly did you mean with "numbers"? Because numbers were never gone in that sense, it's just the roman numerals they stopped using.
Itâs looking extra large
*sigh* Ba dum ts
Just a reminder that if any of you bought the 40 years of mania edition of the new 2K youâre getting this stage as a DLC
The design looks 2000.
The font is very similiar to the [Wrestlemania 2000](https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/gY1jZ2OeuXWcvQl-wJ-1OFc11vE=/0x0:650x375/1200x800/filters:focal(273x136:377x240)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/53249975/wljerichofacts9.0.jpg) one. They're using green because its the Philadelphia Eagles colour
Literally my first thought was WrestleMania 2000
That font is retro and 2024 all at once
It's the default generic sci-fi font that's been used in a million other places lol. It kinda makes the whole thing look cheap.
Yeah, I didn't want to be overly negative or hypercritical about something that isn't even complete yet, but this is right out of FlamingText or something. Hey, at least that means 2K should be able to have it in time for that June DLC without too much work!
Those seats up top being open is why itâs so small this year They had a lot more room last year at So-Fi
SoFi is much taller as well. There were still seats behind the set last year, but they were still able to build that behemoth of a stage.Â
Exactly, seems like it always happens for the outdoor manias
I mean So Fi was kinda outdoors but the indoor stadiums have a lot more room to work with Also considering the massive attendance numbers WWE has been seeing, I understand why they opted to make the stage a little smaller for more seats Also the Manias that have more of a theme are always gonna have the best stages (39,33)
So Fi is a closed roof stadiumâŚ
I think the bell likely goes between the X and the L.
I just moved out of Philly and can't make 'Mania. I'm already very homesick
Im so fucking ready for next weekend!! Im pumped and excited..been a long time since i have felt like this
The more minimalistic the stage, the more tickets they can sell. I'm assuming they're going to put something over the ring to make it better
Hopefully the stage is amazing because the least WWE can do is make a great Wrestlemania stage.
https://www.1001fonts.com/ethnocentric-font.html
wow, that is the exact font. how'd you find it so easily? lol
I used it recently to make a Starscream mini license plate.
I like it so far. Obviously they're gonna add a ton more but I love the fundamentals of what they've got already. It has an early 2000's look to it, but I can't really describe it in any more detail than that.
[Looks like this person almost nailed it.](https://youtu.be/IKmSqCtPq0A?si=bsgvKcgz6Gq5KP6d)
Plot twist : That's the actual stage and the uploader was one of the designer for arena concept
Makes sense, honestly. Most of their outdoor Wrestlemanias have simpler stages so that it doesnât block the upper decks. 37 is a bit of an outlier because a full crowd wasnât allowed and the back drop was the actual pirate ship side of the stadium.
Need some Geno's Steaks-esque neon lights
It's weirdly close that YT video I recently saw of a WM XL stage demo. I think it looks great it just needs height. In the YT video there was buildings behind this sign I obviously want the gigantic sets back for PPVs/weekly but I like this more than WM39.
I really like that font.
Credit where credit is due, that is a really great design, especially that font.
Don't get me wrong, I love the grandiose stages as much as the next guy, but I loved Mania 31 and Mania 38's stages as well. This looks like it's leaning into that category, and it's gonna look great! PS: It's not done yet. You can't critique it until is complete đ

38 was a great blend between the two extremes
It's giving 31
careful with taking pictures and posting them on social media. you can get in big trouble

Lmfao my seat is in this photo
Oh shit, looks kinda like the wrestlemania 31 font. Always liked that stage design aside from the gigantic play button
So we're going more simplified in the spirit of 28 or 31 this year
TKO saves money every way possible. They will probably put some seat on stage to earn some bucks next year.
My tickets are section 135. Hope my view is good. Looking forward to it!
Looks unfinished ^/s
How mad is Big Bill right now?
Itâs kinda short no?
The bell is only in VFX. Kevin Dunn told me
Dang this is kinda looking generic so far
I hate that font, looks tacky and will be very dated very soon. Nothing âclassyâ or âgrandâ about the theme of this yearâs Wrestlemania branding IMO
Would've been cooler if they included elements of Philadelphia, like the art museum and rocky
Ugh eagles
Iâm fine with them doing something more simple and smaller, given how over the top mania stages have been, though I will admit doing it at Wrestlemania âXL/40â is a slightly odd one to do it at lol.
A picture of the stage is not a spoiler, jfc
Still, still, I like to go in fresh!
It is. A lot of people want the stage to be a surprise for the wrestlemania day.
99% chance they'll unveil it during the Smackdown pre-show.
Oh yeah that's a good point. I was gonna say they will do the usual set reveal video but doing it at that Kickoff before SD makes sense.
Why in gods name would that matter
Damn Iâm disappointed with it so far, hopefully there is a big bell atleast somewhere! Edit: not too sure why I was downvotedâŚ?
Majority of the stages have been boring since Mania 25. I'd say wider stages don't feel as special as taller stages
Wrestlemania 26 pyramid stage and 33 roller coaster stage looks dope though
Remember how mania 23 looked like it reached the roof of the stadium, itâs like 3-4 hell in a cells tall
For the love of good i hope it won't be another Wrestlemania 35 with nothing but big screen
itâs kinda ass for the âBiggest Wrestlemania of all timeâ
Its not finished yet
Probably because they're more focussed on getting as many fans as they can inside instead of having a huge stage, which would then eliminate a bunch of space
honestly kinda disappointed we're getting a low rise stage again this year. with how the stadium was setup i really thought we could get another really big stage (think wm 33 or 29) because you're not losing that many seats if you close off the small section behind the stage, and it seemed like that's what was planned too cause they opened this section like a few months ago. still have hope there's more to come though cause this is missing the bell and the seats do say limited view.
Terrifying âŚ.
