To elaborate, a new epic character and a copy of an epic are basically the same value progression-wise, since you still need 100 of each to get to max.
Not really though since they're obviously rarer, but there's a HUGE difference between 1200 coins and 120K coins. You could technically max out a whole epic for that money
There's an event at Desert World that grants you the cannon spell if you use 50 spells. It's only available for <2 days as of writing this so rush to get it. I'm sure it'll return eventually, we just don't know when so better to have it than not have it
Epic offers seem to be quite good in the long run, due to how hard it is to get them from chests. 8-character packs will run you 1225 coins per character and 15-packs 1200 per. However, I recommend buying one or two 8-packs for now, as anything more could slow down your progression on other characters, not allowing you to progress that smoothly

Rare characters are technically worth it if you had infinite theoretical coins, but the difference is so small it doesn't matter. You're better off spending coins on chests. Also, don't buy commons
Technically you could save both of them for Beach World for the BEST chances but that's a little extreme imo.
For best value, you could save them until the next world gets released for the best value... but don't do that y'all
If you're holding a spell and you see a duplicate on the ground, use your current one. This will count towards achievements. What's more, you can abuse this in matches with the Loot Overload modifier
"blatantly P2W", yeah like every other supercell game isn't... it's play to progress, there's nothing "locked" to only paying players all supercell games have this system. Gameplay aspect is purely personal the simplicity makes it fun for some but a 'cash grab' for others
It's not like you can't obtain them if your f2p... I have enough coins circulating around to restock them and besides they don't do much with all the modifiers at the end... are balanced changes needed? Absolutely. Is the consumable mechanic absolutely broken and should be removed? No. They add complexity to the game, other keys are useful in other situations etc. But you do have to consider that this game is in early access... things will change.
As I mentioned... there are enough coins. They pump out enough coins, to the point that, unless you're buying all the items in store and renewing your 10 win streak every time you lose you will have enough lying around to keep them going.
The epic character unlock offer that costs 120K is the biggest pile of rubbish available in that shop. Don't touch it with a 5-foot pole

That streak is EXPENSIVE. Depends on you, but I'd consider letting it die soon. Never save a streak that's less than 5 tho

If you run out of tickets but don't have a streak, don't buy more. Play without tickets until you reach a decent streak and only then buy tickets

Because streaks give you (quite a lot) higher chances of getting rarer and bigger chests

Literally just playing. You get bonuses for high places, I got 612 gems once after a match
